Bimini Theory

Edgar Cayce pointed to Bimini in his visions. Cayce prophesied that Atlantis would rise again in the 1960s. In 1968 a plane flying overhead of the island spotted a 2000 foot long stretch of stone rock now called "Bimini road."

Geologist say this type of formation is not uncommon in nature.

Archaeologist have found barrel shaped objects on the land but no volcanoes or hot springs.

Canary Island Theory

Spainish conquistadors found the islands and a mysterious tribe. The tribe claimed their home had been devastated.

The islands have volcanoes, hot springs, and lush landscapes.

Ancient ruins have been unearthed with fascinating inscriptions on them of no known language.

Malta Island

This mediterraean island has the proper environment and evidence of a catastrophe around 7000, 8000 BC. The world's oldest temple has been discovered on the island. There is a path leading to the sea and exotic animal bones have washed up on the shore including pigmy elephants.

Azores

These are nine small islands in the Atlantic ocean. These islands have volcanoes, hot springs and landscapes. Eels spawn at the islands and birds migrate there.

There are no ancient ruins.

Insula Atlantis

This theory has many shapes. Respected geologist Charles Haggood ruined his reputation during his search for Atlantis. Haggood theorized that the whole earth's crust shifted and Atlantis ended up in the Artic. This theory is extremely unlikely still others believe Haggood had the right place just the wrong explanation. Plato said that Atlantis was located in the "true Ocean." Which oceanographers now call "World Ocean." In the center of "World Ocean" is the island continent of Anartica.

The story of Atlantis has been told in every civilization. Recorded first by the Egyptian and Minoan civilizations an ocean apart. An explanation for this could be Atlantis survivors spread to every part of the known world and passing on their story.
