INTRODUCTION

This Page is dedicated to my appeciation of Star Wars. Ever Since I was 8 and first saw Star Wars back in 1977 I've always loved the movies. As I grew up I learned to appeciate the symbolism inherent in the Star Wars trilogy. Anyone who has read the works of Joseph Cambell knows how Star Wars plays the role of a modern day myth in society. That's all good and well but one of the most intriguing things to me has always been the cool Space Ships.

When I stumbled upon the Star Wars Modeling Alliance I was instantly hooked on the 3d modeling hobby. I am still leaning modeling but slowly I am getting better. This page will showcase the Star Wars models I have created.

Twi'lek Chir'daki ( Deathseed )

From the Micheal Stackpole X-Wing(Rogue Squadron) series of books. The Deathseed is described as a home grown Twi'lek design. More manuverable and faster then most "uglies" the Deathseed is almost a match for X-Wings.

Model Notes: The Deathseed was created by me using some parts from Marv May's X-wing Mesh and Little Bill's Tie Interceptor. Mesh designed by Jon Halter. Textures from the SWMA.

Corellian Gunship

To quote the Rebellion game from Lucasarts. " The Corellian Gunship was designed to be to things, fast and deadly. Engines fill more then half of it's interior structure while the external hull mounts a large number of laser batteries. It is an ideal anti-Starfighter platform." I suppose it is the Rebel equal to the Imerial Lancer class Frigates.

Model Notes: This was created in 3d Studio Max 1.2. I used some parts from Dr. Harry's excellent Rebel Corvette model. Mesh and textures created by Jon Halter.

Star Wars is a Lucasfilm copyright.
