Description: The reptilian t'sa stand between 1.2 and 1.6 meters high, and weigh about 60 kg. They are humanoid. They are lightning quick in both physical and mental areas, and never seem to be standing completely still. Small scales cover their bodies, and a ridge of spines grows off of their spinal column. They have a thin tail that help them keep their balance. The t'sa reproduce by laying eggs, the incubation time taking about four months. T'sa are raised by the community rather than only their parents.
History: The t'sa evolved on a world where large reptiles never became extinct. In fact, mammals never evolved at all. The small t'sa evolved quickly to survive the larger predators of their home. When man was developing the bow and arrow, the t'sa had already settled over half of their globe. When the Roman Empire was at its peak, the t'sa had begun to launch their first chemical rockets. When Leonardo designed his famous flying machine, the t'sa had just completed the first of their generation ships, and set it off to another solar system.
Although the t'sa have had their ups and downs in their history, the majority of their wars were short lived. Their world unified and their innate curiousity carried them to the stars. They quickly colonized the inhabitable worlds of their home system, then began building their generation ships. These ships could carry several thousand t'sa in cryogenic sleep to a nearby star. Unfortunately, these ships (there were four in total) didn't have warp travel. The journeys took years but eventually, each ship reached its designated star system and began colonizing the worlds within. As the last of the four generation ships entered its chosen system, they were greeted by their t'sa brethern, who in the past year had discovered warp travel, and made the same journey in under a week.
These five systems are the most extensively colonized and populated out of all the t'sa dominated systems. They have been dubbed the T'sa Cluster. It is from here that most t'sa come from.
Psychology and Culture: As stated above,
the t'sa are quick in wits and speed. T'sa religion is polytheistic, consisting
of fourteen different gods and numerous spirits. The t'sa are natural inventors
and love to tinker with any new technology they encounter. As for recreation,
the main sport that they play, ss'lak'na, resembles human soccer, only
there are three balls, and the field (usually a forested area) is roughly
two miles by one thousand feet.
