Description: The Phoenix was awarded to the heroes for their help in saving various corporations' finances from a computer virus. It is a standard StelTek design Odyssey class exploration vessel, donated by StelTek as thanks. It is also fitted with an external docking clamp, as this vessel has a companion ship due out sometime within the next two years: a small scout/launch type vessel. Also, SmartCo., another company which stood to loose a lot if the virus had affected League markets, has installed an AI onboard to help with any routine ship functions.

The AI aboard the Phoenix has chosen the name Atrus. It constantly uses its flying A-eye to watch all parts of the ship, and it enjoys going off ship in its memory harness, asking to be taken along a lot of the time. Its main purpose is to serve as a back-up to crew members; basically, it can fly the ship and operate a good number of ship functions without need of crew members. It also has rudementary knowledge of diplomatic procedures. Since it was designed to be in an exploration vessel, it also has a bit of knowledge with regard to first contact situations, but it is advised that a seasoned diplomat navigate this area; no sense starting a war over a computer-made error. Atrus is equipped with standard pattern recognition translation software as well, to make things easier on the crew.
