The Nitrobots
Chapter 5 TRC-981
"Prowl we’re going to need to refuel right away, the ship’s low on energon,"
Cliffjumper said to Prowl,
"Doesn’t the energon last up to 12 hours in the separation module?"
Cliffjumper replied,
"Yeah it is supposed to, but , we had to rush the separation and not all the energon from the main module got transferred, we only got about 10 percent of it."
Prowl then asked,
"How long do we have?"
"About…25 minutes."
A blanket of silence fell on the command center. Prowl turned to Hound,
"Give me any place we can land in this system and where we can get some energon in our tiem frame."
Hound pressed some buttons and turned to Prowl and said,
"Well, there are several moons and to volcanic planets, but I would say let’s go to TRC-981, we can refuel ourselves there, it will take some time to process the Arcalian ore but it should work. But there is one problem."
Prowl replied,
"And that is?"
"If my calculations are correct the planet is just out of our reach, we can make it there but we will no energon left to enter the atmosphere."
Prowl nodded,
"Set course for TRC-981."
he turned to Cliffjumper again,
"Cliffjumper, try and squeeze every last particle of energon out of this shuttle."
Cliffjumper nodded, Prowl then addressed every one in the shuttle,
"Ok we need to turn off all unnecessary devices, we’ll even shut down the lights and just run off the emergency lights."
Prowl sat down and pressed some buttons on his chair and the lights went off, then the dim emergency lights came on. Some empty computer console’s screens went off. I turned to Prowl whispered,
"Do you think this’ll work?"
He replied,
"I damn well hope so."
After about 20 minutes a planet came on the viewscreen, it was a blue, brown and green and resembled earth. Prowl said to the pilots,
"Take us in there boys."
Sideswipe and Mirage pressed some buttons. The ship pointed at the planet and started advancing toward it faster than before. Just as the ship entered the atmosphere and they could see the clouds, Hound’s and Cliffjumper’s screen’s went blank. So did Prowl’s captain monitor. My console followed suit. Then the emergency lights went out and the only thing lighting the bridge was the land which u could now see on the viewscreen and the two pilot monitors which were flickering. Then they went out. We could see a mountain in front of us. The ship was parallel to the ground. As passed the mountain there was a huge crash that sent the ship spinning, there was a hull breach at the back of the ship. I looked back trying to keep my balance circuits from going crazy, I could see the the blue sky of the planet, there was another crash, louder than any before, I fell to the floor. The ship hit the ground the ground leveling the landscape it trampled over. It stopped after sliding about a mile.
The inside of the shuttle was dark, illuminated only by the viewscreen and the hull breach at the back of the shuttle. I looked around and saw some Autobots on the floor. I saw Prowl climbing to his feet, just as I went to stand up, I heard a crash and I suddenly felt incredible pain in my back, I fell on my stomach and lost consciousness.
