From Ancient Asgard he comes, The Prince of that Realm, an immortal warrior whose heritage
is tied both to the realm eternal as well as Earth itself ! He stands for honor and is a divine force
for good in the eternal struggle . His Strength of arm is second to none and it swings the mystic
hammer Mjolnir for all that is just and right ! He is The Mighty THOR, God of Thunder ! And
all the forces of the storm are his to command!
Splash Page : Thor is tackled by an enraged Red Norvell, who has thrown himself from the
parapets of the dark castle he and Sif were standing on
Red: " You BUMS! You left us here for months! You Asgardians are heartless uncaring creeps!"
Thor: "UNNGH!"

Thor smashes Red away with a powerful left!
TA-KOOM!
Thor : "Have at thee Red Norvell! No one has forsaken thee brave mortal! In truth you KNOW I
was thought dead for unto close to a year! Verily I had no idea thou wert missing!"
Red: "Aaaah you're so full of it you're making me sick"
Red kicks Thor as he approaches, sending him sprawling!
BOOM!
Thor: "OOF!"

Thor: "Enow Red Norvell! Verily in truth thou art a brave and worthy compatriot, but Thor will
suffer no more of thy foolishness!"
Thor hurls Mjolnir into Red, slamming back , and through the castle wall
TA-KOW!
Sif leaps down to the ground , from the same parapet , brandishing her sword before the
Warriors Three and Thor.
Sif: " Harm him not, brave warriors! He strikes only in rage for being forgotten. In truth I know
how he does indeed feel!"
Fandral : " My Lady Sif , verily we are indeed pleased to have thee back amongst us. Stand down
fair one."

Volstagg!: "Aye good Sif, we have in truth come seeking thee. To find Red Norvell with thee is
only an added bonus. The rejoicing in Asgard will go on for days on end!"
Hogun: " Aye Sif. Odin himself has sent us to see to thy rescue. Stand down My Lady."
Sif : " No matter brave fellows, where Red Norvell battles, so does the Lady Sif!"
Suddenly Norvell comes out of the castle in a rage!
Red : "C'mon then, all of you. I'll take you all on . After I'm done with Goldilocks , you three are
next!"
Thor : "ENOW!"
He slams his hammer to the ground twice, creating an instant hurricane , complete with
lightning.

Red" Whoa!"
red Norvell is picked up by the storm and tossed a football field length to land with a
"thud!
Red : "OOFF! That......hurt."
Thor: "As well it should have. Thou did indeed deserve more for thy foul response to our rescue
of thee and the lady Sif."
Red : "Yeah well sue me then blondie. You guys forgot all about me and the Lady here. We' been
trapped for months in this stink hole . Fightin' off those lizard guys every few days waitin and
hopin' someone would remember us bein' trapped here. But no one came. Finally when we gave
up all hope you and the cavalry come ridin' in like John Wayne and friends. How'd ya expect us
to react?"

Thor: "I expected you to react like Gods. For in truth that is what thou art. No less, no more."
Red: "Well I've had it with all you Asgardian types and your godhood nonsense. I want my life
on earth back. My NORMAL life. If you and Mjolnir can get us back home, then do it and stop
wastin' anymore time."
Thor looks at Red Norvell, but he cannot be to angry with the man, part of what he said is true,
he and Sif were indeed forgotten by the entire Asgardian population when they returned from
Sothgarns trap*. He knows the man has at least the right to be angry.
*See issue 504
Thor: (Hhmm, mayhap I am noticing something else here as well. The way the Lady Sif is
standing next to Norvell, there is affection there. They have grown close in this time they spent
together.)
Sif: " Yes Thor. Let us all be gone from this dank and damnable dimension."

Hogun: "Aye Thunderer, e'en brave Hogun seconds that statement. Let us leave this stinking pit
to the inhabitants who deserve it."
Thor: "Very well then."
Whirling Mighty Mjolnir above his head , Thor opens a shining rift back to Asgard, and
moments later...
Red : "Alright! Real ground! Real light! No more of that damn haze all a the time!"
Thor: "Aye Red Norvell, we are all back on Asgard."
Red:" Yeah, well I don't want this place no more either. Send me home, where I belong. And you
can keep your stinkin' godhood too. I got no use for it. All it's ever done is get me killed, twice!"

At that moment Odin approaches along with the Enchantress..
Odin: "Ho good warriors! Thy quest was a success! Let all the heavens roar at thy triumph!"
Red: "Aaa, I don't wanna hear it Odin. You left me there to rot, and you think I'm gonna take part
in your celebrating'? No way Jose' ! Just send me home, where I belong."
Amora: " You ungrateful dog ! The All Father along with Thor the Mighty and the warriors three
hath saved thy worthless hide ! Why thou shouldst-"
Odin: "Enow Enchantress. If Red Norvell does indeed feel this way, then verily his presence will
no longer be required!"
Thor: "But father, please wait, Red Norvell hath proven himself a hero many times over he does
speak in anger, not from the heart."

Red: "How do you know what I mean golden boy? You got the world by the horns, You're an
immortal prince. Me ? I'm just a guy used by your old man as a fall guy one time to many. I've
had enough, I'm outta here."
Odin: "So be it. Thor accompany the Mortal, Red Norvell to Midgard, ne'ermore will he walk the
streets of Asgard!"
Thor hesitates momentarily, looking at those around him. Then...
Thor: "As you both wish then!"
Thor whirls Mjolnir above his head, and both he and Red Norvell disappear in a flash of light!

Thor and Red reappear on a manhattan roof top
Thor: "Where do you wish to go Red Norvell? How will you survive?"
Red: "Look Thor, you an' me were never buddies anyway, so don't try to fake like you give a
hoot. Besides I was a cameraman for a major network before I met you lunatic Asgardians. Look
Thor, I ....appreciate you're giving a damn about what happens to me, but I really gotta get away
from all this craziness with you guys. So I wanna put some distance between us. "
Thor: "As you wish Red Norvell, I wish you well ! If you do indeed need work, contact a friend
of mine, Jerry Sapristi at Warhammer construction. You will receive work instantly."
Red smiles, finally relaxing.
Red: "Thanks Thor, I guess I was wrong about one thing, you are a friend."
He offers his hand and Thor takes it in a warriors grasp, then Red turns and leaves.

Thor: ( Verily tis sad that Red has so much anger at the All father. He is indeed a warrior born.
But enow, tis time to return to Warhammers offices and see what hath transpired in my absence.
Moments later Sigurd Jarlson enters his executive office from the penthouse above, to find
chaos!
Sig: "What? This office is a shambles! What has happened here? Terry! Where are you ?"
Terry Gables almost flies into the room, her usually very professional appearance is gone, she is
harried and very upset.
Terry: "Oh Mr Jarlson, it was terrible, we tried to get you all day, but we couldn't find you
anywhere. Poor Mr Sapristi."
Sigs heart almost skips a beat.

Sig: "Terry, get a hold of yourself, what has happened here? What is wrong with Jerry?"
Terry: "You mean you don't know? When you left the other day* Mr Sapristi went down to his
car that night and was attacked by someone, and beaten badly. He .....he's in real bad shape."
Sig: "Where is he? What hospital?"
Terry: "Manhattan General."
Sig: "Close up the office terry, take the next few days off. Send everyone home with pay. I am
leaving for the hospital immediately."
Without another word Sigurd Jarlson takes his penthouse elevator back to his private apartments
and once there, slams his walking stick to the ground, becoming the Mighty Thor!

Thor rockets across the Manhattan skyline, landing with a massive whoosh of displaced air on
the buildings rooftop. Quickly he scans the area around him, seeing no one there he slams his
hammer to the ground once more, and becomes Sigurd Jarlson once more. Entering a rooftop
doorway, Sigurd makes his way down to the main floor, and the head nurses station.
Sig: "Excuse me , I am looking for a friend of mine who was admitted in the last day or so. His name is Sapristi. "
The nurse looks at her admission records before turning to Sig.
Nurse: "Which one you want? "
Sig: "What?"
Nurse: "Which one ? The father or the daughter? Wait you did say "He", so you must want Jerry
Sapristi."

Sig: "Wait Nurse, are you telling me Jenny is here also? "
Nurse: "Oh, I am sorry sir, I assumed you knew. Miss Sapristi was brought in this morning. She
was beaten badly sometime during the night. Her condition is actually worse then her fathers.
Some sadistic monster took his time hurting her. There's some doubt as to her making it."
Just then a familiar figure arrives, trench coat and cane in hand.
Matt: "Sig, we've all been looking for you, but didn't know how to contact you. I've been here on
and off the last day and a half."
Sig: "Thank you Matthew, you are a true friend."
Matt: "I'll let you handle things here now Sig. If you need me, call. I'll help you in any way I
can."
Sig: "Thank you my friend."

Matt exits, as he does he looks towards a certain photographer for the daily Bugle, who has been
at the hospital himself many times in the past few days , both as Peter Parker, and as ...
Daredevil: "Spider-Man, over here."
Spidey: "I saw you hornhead. What gives here?"
DD: "I think we'll have company in a minute, just wait right here, according to my radar sense,
we're right in line with that hospital rooms view."
Inside the hospital room in question, Sigurd Jarlson looks up and out the window before him. He
instantly sees the two heroes across the street on the roof . Silently he grips his friends hand,
then leaves. Heading for the same rooftop access doorway he entered through.
Suddenly a loud "BOOM" of thunder rings through the air.
Spider-Man : " Uh -oh, I guess we're in for a summer thunderstorm, funny, but there isn't a cloud
in the sky."
DD: "There's a storm coming, that's for sure, but you're looking in the wrong direction."
Spidey: "Huh? What are you talking about hornhead?"
Spidey spins and suddenly sees Thor descending from above, his cape fluttering majestically in
the wind.

Thor: "Hold good heroes, I would have words with thee."
Spidey: "Hello Thor. What can we do for you?"
Thor: "Friend Spider-Man, a grave injustice hath been perpetrated 'gainst a friend, and I need the
aid of you heroes who have a greater understanding of the more...common villain. I -I do not
know how to go about searching for the fiend responsible for attacking both my friend , and his
daughter. I am used to enemies who do not skulk and hide amid shadows. Yet you both know
these kind well. Can you help locate the responsible fiends?"
Spidey bounces over to Thor.
Spidey: "We'll help Thor, don't worry. "
Thor: "Another request my friends, when you find the responsible parties, you must alert me as
well. I want to exact my vengeance 'pon their sorry forms!"

DD: "Hold on now Thunder God, you sound like a man who's about to go to any lengths to
avenge a friends injury."
Thor breathes deeply and exhales.
Thor: "In truth good Daredevil, I am. A man and his daughter both were wounded deeply by this
creature, who cannot be human to have done such things, and I intend to find him and when I do,
the heavens themselves will shake at the wrath of Thor!"
Spidey: "Easy there big fella, anger and revenge are two things that DO NOT go together well."
Thor : "Mayhap, but in this case, this is a mission most personal."
DD: "Okay, we'll get your villain, just leave it to us. "
Spidey: "Yeah, we'll contact you via my Avengers communicard."
He holds up his card and waves it.

Thor: "Very well then. I hope to hear from thee soon."
Thor turns and flies into the sky, as Spidey and DD watch him go.
Spidey: That is one very PO'd God. I wouldn't want to be who I think it is when he catches up to
him."
DD :" You have an idea who did this?"
Spidey: "Yeah, a certain pasty faced ghoul with skin like granite and a personality even more
abrasive, Tombstone!"
DD :" Great, I never met him, but from what I've heard he's one tough customer."
Spidey: "He is. I should know. I've fought him enough."

Inside the hospital Sigurd Jarlson watches the two heroes talking, then they shake hands and go
their separate ways into the late day sky.
Sig: ( I am in truth lucky that I saw those two conferring on yonder rooftop. Without their aid I
foresaw no way of discovering who the villain is. Verily will he feel the wrath of Thor when I do
find him!)
Juts then an older woman enters the room, carrying flowers for her husband, along with a few
tears. Sig stands and hugs her as she sobs softly.
Sig: "Shhh, it is okay Connie. He will be fine. The doctors say he will pull through."
Connie: "I- I know Sigurd, but it's Jenny I'm more concerned with now. Who did this to my
baby? And why? What did we ever do to anyone that would want to hurt my family so much?"

Sig : "I do not know Connie, but I think they were looking to hurt "Warhammer" and not your
family. "
Connie: "but why ? What was going here Sig?"
Sig: "I do not know the reason both Jerry and Jenny were hurt, but you have my word I will find
out who did this, and when I do, they will pay!"

Hey Ralph! Red Norvell's back! Yay! So he really has been in limbo! Seriously it's great to see
everything coming to a head here! With all of the street guys popping up, it adds a new
dimension to Thor and seeing him in Limbo while everything he cares about on earth is
endangered says something. Seeing Amora's pardon was great as well! Just keep up the good
