Narrator: Hold onto your war helmets titanic true believers! Everything will be explained as we go along!

Thor: "Back barbaric monster! Back to the realms of infernal cold where thou doth belong! So Commands Thor , God of Thunder!"

The Ice Giant falls backwards, his forty foot frame toppling over, to land with a

BOOM!

F G : "No thunder God, I won't be shoved aside like a fool! I love the Enchantress, and I will have her as my own!"

Thor stands in mid air, a whirling Mjolnir holding him in place, as Amora the Enchantress looks on at the tablue unfolding.

Thor : "I give thee one chance frozen one, leave this place in peace or leave it in pieces!"

F G : "Bah little godling, thou doth prattle on to long!"

The Frost Giant punches At Thor, taking him by surprise, and knocking him a city block in one powerful blow!

T-KOW!

Thor: "WHOOF!"

F G : " I have come for thee fair Amora, after our time together battling Set * I could not think of any other save thee!"

Amora: "And I could think of nothing gigantic one, save being away from thee!"

Suddenly the Enchantress fires a blast of mystic flame at the Frost Giant, melting a hole in his chest!

F G : "AAGGH! What have you done to me you witch!"

Amora: "Why I've melted you O giant. Leave now back to thy land of snowy peaks afore I finish the job."

F G : "Why my love ? Why art thou not running into my arms? Why art thou not ....."

Ba-KOOM!

Suddenly The Frost Giant is hurled backwards, like a missile! Standing in the air, held aloft by a spinning Mjolnir , is THOR! His left hand in the just completed arc of his blow which sent the giant tumbling.

Thor: "Enow Giant! Go home! My patience has indeed worn thin! When next I strike thee, all that will be left of thy body will be SNOWFLAKES!"

The Giant pulls himself upright from his position laying in the street, when with a dejected sigh, he turns , head hung low and walks back towards the end of the city , drops of moisture running from his body.

Thor: "Verily Amora, in truth I feel pity for the Giant. Obviously he holds thee in high esteem."

Amora: "He is a monstrous lout Thor. Him and his fellow had held me prisoner for a time whilst thou had disappeared into the other realm of the God-Child Franklin."

Thor : "Aye, I remember thy tale of this. How art thou feeling this day fair Enchantress? Are thy wounds healing?"

Amora: "Aye good Thor they are."

Thor: "So thou wilt accompany me to Sifs' wedding celebration?"

Amora: " I -I do not know my prince. To be so involved in the inner workings of the realm, this is a new experience for me."

Thor: "Aye, and mayhap one long in coming beautiful one. As thy prince I command thee to accompany me. Thou must now."

She looks at him, a momentary flash of anger streaks behind her eyes, but softens when she looks deep into his own eyes. He has captured her heart, something that has ne'er been done to her before in all her long lifetime. It is a feeling she will enjoy.

Amora;(With an all to rare smile) "Aye my prince, I will accompany thee."

Thor : "Good then . I will pick thee up here at 7 PM . Be prepared."

Amora: " I will Thor, but thou must be ready thyself, for a sight that will stay in thy mind fore'er!"

Thor: (With a smile) "Tis something I look forward to Amora."

Without another word he spins Mjolnir overhead and is gone! Rocketing across the skyline of Asgard as would a shining comet!

Thor: (Verily this woman doth surprise me more and more by the day. The revelation of her having not killed the policeman some months ago does my heart good, but still must I find him, if for no other reason then to insure his safety.)

Thor lands on the rainbow bridge, and as always, vigilant Heimdall is there , keeping the eternal watch.

Heimdall: "Ho there Thor! How be-est thou?"

Thor clasps his fellow warrior in the warriors arm grab.

Thor : "I am fine good Heimdall, and thee?"

Heimdall: " As ever my friend, I am fine."

Thor: "Then I must take my leave of thee good Heimdall, matters on Earth demand my attention."

Heimdall: "Then do what thou must Thunderer, I will see thee on thy return for the festivities of my sisters wedding."

Thor gives a jaunty wave .

Thor : "Fare thee well my friend!"

And is gone, flying down the rainbow bridge , towards New York

Thor flies above Manhattan, heading towards Warhammer.

Thor: ( I must needs be quick about my supposed mortal counterparts business here. Sif and Fandrals wedding is today, and Fandral has asked me to be his best man. While in truth my feelings on this entire event are mixed, I must stand for my friend, as well as my former ......love)

The last word leaves a pang of regret in his heart as he thinks of his time with the beauteous Sif and of how long they were together in their on again off again relationship. He misses her in a way, but the fire of the Enchantress moves him in ways he never thought possible.

Alighting above the Warhammer buildings roof, he activates the roof opening mechanism and drops through . Once inside he slams his enchanted hammer to the ground, and becomes Sigurd Jarlson.

Sig: ( I am going downstairs to the offices immediately. Any work I must do has to be taken care of without delay.)

He rides the elevator down to the main floors, and as the doors open , into a scene of chaos!

Sig"Ods blood ! What!"

As the doors open , a large man he immediately recognizes as one of the gangster team ,"The Enforcers", known as "the Ox" goes sailing past, followed by a leaping ...

Sig : "Daredevil!?!"

D D: " Grab a partner and join in Jarlson, your business partner Sapristi is holding his own over there."

Sig turns and sees Jerry holding the Enforcer known as Montana around the throat with his own whip, while he stands on the mans back slapping the back of the villains head with his free hand.

Jerry: " You tell yer boss, no one comes into my office and threatens me you punk I ain't afraid a you or no body! "

Suddenly Sig is tackled and thrown to the ground.

Sig: "What?"

A smaller man in a hat begins to hit Sig with solid punches.

F D : "You came in at the wrong time blondie, I guess Fancy Dan'll have to teach you not to go where you ain't wanted!"

Sig: (This is madness! These villains obviously attacked Jerry and Daredevil must've been swinging by and came to Jerry's rescue*. I'll brook no more of this foolishness.)

*Actually it was Matt Murdoch who came by to get papers signed. But you already knew that if you read last issue!---Ralph

Sig hauls off and delivers a powerful right, that sends the Enforcer tumbling!

Boom!

Daredevil grabs a door sill and swings forward, a powerful kick to the Ox's jaw drops him to the ground and out of consciousness.

D D: "Well that about wraps things up here gentlemen. You no longer need me, so I'll be on my way."

With a wave he opens one of the windows and is gone.

Sig: "It was a good thing Daredevil came by when he did Jerry. What happened here?"

Jerry: "Aaahh, I had things under control. These punks were trying to shake us down Sig. They're bent outta shape because we're beatin' they're estimates on construction jobs."

Sig: " Jerry, be careful! These men are mobsters, and as such will return in greater numbers, or when you least expect it."

Jerry: " Don't you worry about me Sig, this old man knows how to take care of himself ."

Just then Terry Gables, the office secretary walks in with Matt Murdoch and several police in tow.

Terry: "Mr Murdoch called the police after he got out of here before."

The officers grab the beaten and humiliated Enforcers , hand cuffing and dragging them towards the elevator. Fancy Dan angrily turns towards Jerry and Sig.

F D : "You ain't heard the last o' this Sapristi. You and your pretty boy partner just bit off a whole lota trouble."

Sig: "Leave here and do not return little man. Next time you will not have Daredevil to protect you."

Matt Murdoch smiles at this.

Matt: ( Obviously I know that's Thor, his heartbeat is unmistakable as are his breathing patterns and his own unique scent. I pity the Enforcers , or anyone else that comes after this company. Still...)

Matt: "I suggest gentlemen , that you be careful in the future, and after the police book these men you sign statements that I'll prepare right now concerning this attack."

Sig: " If you feel this is necessary Mr Murdoch, I will follow your advice."

Jerry: "Ahhh, what are you two worryin' about."

Sig: " This time I will pull rank on you my friend . You WILL sign the necessary paperwork."

Jerry : "Yeah, yeah okay. Whatever."

Just then the elevator doors open again and Steven Grant enters. Steven Grant who is also known as Moon Knight!

Grant : (What did I walk into here? It looks like a war zone! Those are the Enforcers being led out in cuffs. Good, it looks like Moon Knight wasn't needed.)

Grant: "Gentlemen, I have an appointment, my name is Grant."*

Jerry: "Oh no! The 2:00 ! Come right in Mr Grant, excuse the mess."

Matt Murdoch smiles inwardly. There's enough superhuman firepower in this room to squelch any villainous uprising, Moon Knights heartbeat, the odd staccato one seemingly four different hearts has always been unique to his hyper-senses.

Hours later....

Sigurd Jarlson finishes his duties and departs. It is now 5:30 PM

Sig: (Tis time I returned to Asgard. A wedding awaits.)

Once in his apartments Sig again slams his walking stick to the ground, and in a burst of lightening, becomes Thor, God of Thunder! Again the roof hatch opens and Thor is through it, faster then mortal eyes can perceive.

Thor lands at his palace in Asgard. Moment later he leaves again, dressed in his ceremonial garb, used only for instances of high importance!

Thor: "Time runs short! The son of Odin has preparations to make! "

With a flourish he lands at the Asgardian stables, there he reappears at the reins of his goat driven chariot, and once again takes to the sky, to land at the quarters of Amora the enchantress.

Thor: "Amora! Art thou ready ? "

Amora answers from a back room.

Amora: "No , I am not. Thou wilt have to wait."

Thor angrily thunders back into her rooms and slams the door open. She is naked save for a towel of a sort wrapped around her lower body. We see her from behind.

Amora: "What? You barge in here like an angry Bull? How dare you?"

Thor takes in her beauty and smiles.

Thor: Aye Amora, I dare. It is now 7:10 . I told you to be ready at 7 . Now hurry! I am in truth the best man and cannot be late."

Amora: " Then I assume I'll have to hurry along, won't I?"

Nonchalantly she drops her towel and walks past him. As she does she puts a little more sway in her hips.

Thor: "Mayhap there is no rush after all."

7:40 and the guests are all waiting in the gardens of the palace royal.

Fandral: "Where is he? He was supposed to be here at 7:20! Verily the man spends to much time with mortals, in truth he has learned their ways to well."

Balder: " Relax my friend I hear the clatter of his chariot as we speak."

Looking skywards Balder sees the goat driven Chariot descend , two figures are aboard. An instant later Thor, shining in his warriors garb and the Enchantress, looking more enchanting then words could e'er describe , enter the palace.

Thor: "My friend I apologize at being late. "

Fandral : "Aye good Thor, think nothing of it. I couldst see why thou wert behind."

He looks at the Enchantress and smiles. She returns Fandrals gaze then haughtily turns away. As she does she smiles to herself.

Then The Grand Vizier enters the Gardens.

Viz: "Fellow Asgardians , all stand and bow to the supreme force, he who rules the heavens with a vigilant and watchful eye, the All powerful all knowing ODIN!"

With a flourish Odin enters the courtyard, as literally hundreds of Asgardians stand and bow before his magnificence .

Odin: "My friends we are here today that the two warriors known as Fandral , the ever dashing and Sif, the beauteous be wed as one. In truth ne'er did I think the day would come to pass when I would see Fandral wed. Nor did I think t'would be to fair Sif. But things change and even Gods are susceptible to the whims of the fates. I proudly join these two deserving warriors ! Let none bar their happiness fore'er more!"

With a blast of horns from the courtyard the royal trumpeters announce the wedding of Sif and Fandral as the two kiss . Amora the ever alluring Enchantress, winds her hand inside Thors as she stands next to him in the crowd. He smiles at her, she does the same to him, and then both look forward, still holding on to one another.

Sif : "Do you take me as your wife, fore'er more Fandral, you who are called the dashing?"

Fandral: "Aye my lady, and do you Sif the raven haired beauty accept me as your husband fore'er more?"

Sif : Aye good Fandral I do."

Odin : "Then Best man, bring forth the rings, I command thee!"

Thor walks forward and hands Odin the rings, stepping back into his place solemnly. Odin places the rings on both Sifs and Fandrals fingers, then speaks

Odin: "With these rings I thee wed, and let no God nor man tear asunder this union, for fear of the All mighty Odin himself. I now pronounce thee husband and wife!"

The two passionately embrace and kiss. It is a beautiful moment, the birds sing, the sun shines, the fragrant flowers fill the air with a scent of new beginnings..........That are about to end!

Suddenly Fandral seeks to pull away from his new bride as she holds him tight, her skin begins to run and change as she begins to grow in stature and green scales begin to form!

Thor: "What! What sorcery is this! Loki! Where art thou?"

Loki appears at his brothers side.

Loki: "This is no spell of mine brother, though I thank thee for as usual jumping to conclusions concerning my guilt or innocence."

Thor: "Then for once I ask thee to do what is good for Asgard entire and join with me in finding the true culprit."

Loki: "Loki does what is best for Loki and Loki alone, but in this case our concerns lie in the same area."

Both men turn and watch as "Sif" begins to laugh, her transformation nearly complete. A six foot long tale bats the wind powerfully as her reptilian countenance drives wedding guests and warriors alike to their swords! And now Thor recognizes her!

Thor : "THOU! The daughter of the demon Sothgarn!* In truth I saw thee disappear in my whirlwind that sent thy people scattering back to thy nameless limbo . Well prepare thee to return again witch. Thor will have thee back amongst thy evil kind once more!"

Cylia: "My name is "Cylia" Brazen one, and no, you did not see me return to the limbo-like prison . I was thrown across the country side by your powerful blow when first we met, and was injured by your power. I was in a room of the castle recovering, and took the Warrior Woman "Sifs" place when the other Asgardians returned.

Odin: "Then where is Sif evil one, answer me or I shalt smite thee!"

Cylia: "If you do , then you will never find her. Besides , you cannot "smite" me, (She grins evilly) I am now married to an Asgardian Warrior, and you have sworn to forever protect that marriage! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHahahahahahah.................

Hey Ralph!

This was a great, solid issue of Thor! I've always thought that the threat

Odin mentioned was a serious problem for them and to see him admit it was

fantastic! Whatever Loki's planning will no doubt be fantastic as well.

Nice to see Daredevil in these pages. I'm really looking forward to his new

title and know you'll do a great job!

The bit with Sif has me literally on the edge of my seat with anticipation!

This has to be good! Seeing Fancy Dan and the Enforcers again after such a

long time was a big plus! I had thought that they must have disbanded as

there were new Enforcers in Web of Spider-Man #100, but seeing the

originals was great! Anyway, I can't wait to see next issue and I'm sure it

will be great!
