From Ancient Asgard he comes, The Prince of that Realm, an
immortal warrior whose heritage is tied both to the realm
eternal as well as Earth itself ! He stands for honor and is a
divine force for good in the eternal struggle . His Strength of
arm is second to none and it swings the mystic hammer Mjolnir
for all that is just and right ! He is The Mighty THOR, God of
Thunder ! And all the forces of the storm are his to command!
�Splash Page : Thor , Captain KRuuk, Tana Nile and Com Officer Charuk stand watching something play out on the ships viewscreen. They are all in various states of shock, wide eyed and opened mouthed. Behind them and on a ledge above on the ships bridge stands Gladiator, his arms crossed across his chest.
Thor : (in a whisper) "By my fathers beard !"
KRuuk : "The prime nest !"
Tana Nile : "No, my people.."
Gladiator : "Harumph."
Page 2&3 Double page spread outside the ship as the devastation of the rigellian fleet that had protected the homeworld lies intermingled with whats left of the Rigellian homeworld. Planetary chunks mix with ship wreckage as far as the eye can see.

Thor : "Ego did this ? When last I heard of the living planet he had been destroyed according to the Fantastic Four."
KRuuk : " We had heard the same Thor. Obviously he had reassembled himself somehow."
Tana Nile : " My countrymen, my entire homeworld demolished.."
She begins weeping to herself.
Thor looks on , sorrow on his face for his friend.
Thor : " Tana Nile , I -I do not know what to say to thee."
He puts his arm around her trembling form and looks at Kruuk, who nods at him and walks back to his chair..
KRuuk : "Helmsman ! Begin course plotting, science officer relay to Helm projected course of ego."

Gladiator : "This vermin will pay for his destruction of the Rigellian homeworld."
Thor : "On that note at least Gladiator, we agree."
Helmsman : "Captain, course is plotted, but be aware sir, egos projected course takes him into galaxy 115, to the third planet."
KRuuk : "What? All speed then helm. This evil must be intercepted with all due haste."
Thor : "What is galaxy 115s significance good Captain?"
KRuuk : " Earth Thor, hes going to Earth."
Cut to Warhammer constructions main offices. There Jerry Sapristi goes over certain proposals.
Voice from intercom : " Mr. Sapristi, theres a Miss. Sapristi here to see you."
Jerry : " Jenny? My babies here ? Send her right in !"
In walks a beautiful young woman, long auburn hair cascades over her shoulders as a smile covers her face from ear to ear.
Jenny : "Daddy !"
Jerry : "My baby girl ! cmere and give your old man a hug "
The two hug and Jerry holds her away looking at her.

Jerry : "What brings you here to see me Jennifer ? I didnt even know you were back in town, dont you have finals soon? Why arent you in school ?"
Jenny : "Well dad, umm thats what I wanted to talk to you about. I uh graduated early and wanted to surprise you ."
Jenny is all smiles as she looks at her father. He returns them . Then she sees Sigurds picture on the wall in the office.
Jenny : "Is that Sigurd Jarlson? Wow daddy, you never told me he was so hot !"
Jerry : "Jenny ! Cmon dont be talkin like that in fronta your old man. Your embarrissin me."
Jenny : "Sorry dad. When do I get to meet the Mysterious Mr. Jarlson ?"
Jerry : "As soon as he makes himself appear honey Ill introduce you to im"

Cut to Asgard, as we come upon Odin riding six hoofed Sleipnir through the forests of the realm eternal. With him are the warriors three and Balder.
Volstagg: " Bah, the craven Trolls doth hide and quiver in their caves at mighty Volstaggs approach my Lord. Worry Not ! None shall dare consider harming thee whilst Volstagg is here to watch thy back."
Fandral (With a huge grin) : "Aye brave Volstagg and should we suffer any attack, thy back Is all we will see as thou doth run for cover !"
Volstagg : "Stay thy barbed tongue good Fandral , lest I give the a lesson in sword play thou wouldst not soon forget !"
Balder : "Enough, both of thee. We come upon the spot Lord Odin hath sought."
There on the ground before them , burned into place on the otherwise lush forest floor is a mystic symbol.
Hogun (Grim as always) : "What does it mean my lord?"

Odin : "It means the end of all things, good Hogun."
Without another word Odin turns his steed and gallops away, leaving four very bewildered and suddenly cold warriors looking after their liege lord.
Back to the TKau.
Charuk : "My Captain, What do you hope to accomplish here? This mad planet has defeated a segment of the rigellian fleet. What can one lone starcruiser do against that? "
KRuuk : "Charuk, that fleet did not have Gladiator or the Mighty Thor with them, and we have both. The odds are more even then you believe my friend."
Charuk : "As you say Captain."
Helmsman : "captain, we are coming along a path ofd destruction, much as we saw earlier. No planet involved this time, but several dozen ships. All appear to be of Skrull design. "
KRuuk : "Any Life signs ?"

Helmsman : "None sir. Their hulls are ripped open and we count approximately 250 Skrull bodies amid the wreckage. But absolutely no life signs, unlike Tana Niles situation ."*

Thor enters the bridge, Gladiator a moment later.
Thor : "I heard you have come upon more destruction Captain KRuuk. Are there any survivors ?"
KRuuk : "None that we can tell Thor. These ships were destroyed hours ago at our best estimation."
Gladiator : "HHHmm, I see no one moving out there, I am scanning them with my macroscopic vision as we speak. I count 266 dead. That would account for two dozen Skrull Ktruuga class battle vors."
KRuuk : "And that is what we have here I take it ?"
Charuk : "Yes Captain, it is. I have tried all known frequencies and no one is responding."

Gladiator: "That is because they are all dead."
KRuuk : "This must stop. Helm. Do we have a heading on the Living Planet ?"
Helm : "Yes sir, he is still following the same course."
KRuuk : "Let us begone then."
The ship leaps forward, back into hyperwave space.
Thor : "How long until the foul scoundrel is within our range KRuuk ?"
KRuuk : "Very soon Thor, very soon."
Gladiator : "Have you contacted the grand fleet Captain ?"
KRuuk : "I have attempted to do so Gladiator, but the wake of this "Living Planet" is sending out wave after wave of radioactive particles that are scrambling our communications on every level. We are alone."

Gladiator : "Good, more glory to us then."
Thor turns and looks long and hard at The Shiar warrior, before turning and leaving the bridge.
Thor : (The fool. Neer have I met a more grating individual ! His happiness with himself is great indeed. Een after the beating I did heap Pon him."
Thor enters the medical facility on the great ship. Tana Nile lies in a medical bed, resting.
Thor: ( Poor Tana Nile, long do I know her and always has she proven her friendship to me. Now to lose a large portion of thy people in such a way to the madness of this being)
He looks on at the diminutive Rigellian woman as she sleeps, when suddenly
Broom !
The whole ship shakes as warning sirens go on

�Charuks voice fills the ship
Charuk : Battle stations, repeat Battle stations. We have engaged the enemy. Prepare for battle. Thor, report to the bridge, Thor report to the bridge."
Thor turns and runs down the corridor as he enters the bridge a scene of chaos greets him
On the view screen the image of Ego the Living planet is seen lashing out at the TKau, tendrils of volcanic flame leap from his surface, as boulders the size of small states suddenly hurl themselves at the starship.
Kruuk : "Helm, avoid those rocks, treat them as you would missiles. Tactical, return fire immediately !"
The well oiled ship attacks, following the Captains orders as he turns to Thor.
KRuuk : "Thor I need your help here. You must work with us to destroy this insane creature."

Suddenly ,and before anyone can speak Egos voice is heard inside their minds ! So powerful is his telepathic attack that over half the crew aboard ship pass out immediately, their nose and ears bleeding before they hit the deck.
Ego : "Know ye who are here Ego, the Living planet commands thee ! I am the future of the Galaxy. I will lead you all to nirvana. You must only swear allegiance to my might and I will allow you to live and serve in my glory."
Thor : "Mad creature ! , we defy you and will unto death !"
Ego (Again in their minds) : "Who are you little mite ? Your voice is familiar as is the touch of thy mind to my own ? Do I know thee ?"
Thor : "Aye monster you know me indeed. Thor the God of Thunder has come to make thee pay for thy crimes gainst the rigellian peoples!"
Ego ( His psychic voice flattening everyone remaining except Thor and Gladiator)"THOR ! My most hated enemy ! Come and die little Godling !"

A wave of force slams into the TKau, spinning it end over end. Panels flare and burn and the whole ship seems ready to rip itself apart.
Thor : "What has the monster done Helmsman ?"
Helm (Holdiong his head as his ears bleed): "He hit us with a massive magnetic shock wave, we cant handle that again Thor."
Thor : "Thou wilt not have to. Captain, teleport me off this ship and into the villians gaping maw!I wilt destroy this foul beast myself or die in the tryiong if need be ! Earth will not be his next victim, so swears the God of thunder !"
KRuuk: " Science, Transpoert the thunder God into space, near approximately one thousand miles away from the creatures atmosphere ."
Thor : " Wait, where is Gladiator ?"
Charuk : " There ! He is there ! "

All heads turn to the viewscreen as Gladiator rockets towards the Living Planet, his voice echoing over the comm system
Gladiator : "Feel the wrath of Gladiator mad one ! This is for your crimes against the Galaxy ! Gladiator is here to make you pay! Dso you hear ? Gladiator of the Shiar Imperial Guard !"
Thor : "Aye, and I must wonder, who is the bigger Ego ?"
All faces turn to the Thunderer some smiling others not.
Thor : "Enough, verily Shiar, get me hither !"
Instantly Thor dissapears from the bridge, to reappear instantaneously outside the ship, as Gladiator is flung past him.

Thor : (The mad Ego doth wade through us as if we were not here ! Tis time to teach him his folly!)
Thor begins to concentrate on Mjolnir, aiming blistering Asgardian power through the hammer and out into Ego itself ! Wvae upon wave of curroscating force is heaped upon the face of Ego!
BRAAKAAKAA KAAMM!
Ego : "Ha Little Godling ! You do yourself justice , but know this, even your fabled might is nothing against the might of Ego ! How can a little speck like yourself fight an entire world?"
�With a roar rocks and all manor of debris attack Thor, automatically he whirls Mjolnir in front of himself, deflecting the debris away
Shwoom !
Suddenly a figure arrows past him at hypersonic speed, it is Gladiator, his words ringing telepathically through his sub- epidemal implant

Gladiator : " Out , and away to danger ! "
Thor : ( Verily the man gets more annoying as the minutes pass ! What in truth is he doing now ?)
Thor watches as Gladiator hurls himself at Ego,slamming into the planets surface
Kra-KA- BOOOOMMM !
Thor : (Odins beard ! He seeks to stop the planets movement ! Is he insane ?)
Gladiator thrusts mightily against Egos surface as the Living planet attacks him, sending vines ,and boulders hurtling against the Guardsmen, but still he perseveres, straining his cosmic muscles to the point of bursting and still he continues fighting on !
Thor : ( In truth his bravery is great, as is his power, but he has done little to slow the living Planet. But he hath given me an idea.)
With a burst of speed Thor races to the planets surface, avoiding Egos attempts to grasp him he suddenly alights to the planets surface, once there he strikes Mjolnir twice to Egos writhing rock and instantly creates a massive storm, tearing at Ego itself with his own atmosphere !

Ego : "Arrghg! You -you have Hurt me Thunder god, I did not think such was possible ! But you will pay !
Again rocks and vines leap at Thor, he uses ther storm to blast them to atoms, lightning scars the Living Planets surface as Thor throws his all into the battle ! Cyclones miles wide tear at Egos "skin" , Hail the size of cars pound Egos surface, as Thor throws blast after blast of Agardian might into the great creatures "face".
Gladiator Continues to struggle against the great engines planted in Egos surface, fighting onward, as slowly the Living planet momentarily gives ground, but then a fissure breaks where Gladiator was standing and a massive blast of Lava covers his form, tossing him hundreds of miles away from it's surface!
Thor sees what has happened and blasts away at ego, his efforts redoubled, but the questions remain no matter how powerful you are, how do you fight a world?
Aboard the T'Kau..
Charuk : "Captain, we have lost contact with both Gladiator and Thor. They seem to be under constant attack by the world below."

K'Ruuk: "Tell me something I do not already know Charuk. Continue to fire all weapons at will, this thing must be stopped."
Charuk : "Captain, if it hits us with another gravity wave, we will be lost .Our shields and hull cannot bear another such strike against us."
K'Ruuk : "That is no matter Com officer, what we do here we do for the Empire and Majestrix Lilandra. The Earth MUST NOT fall to this creature."
Helmsman : "Regardless sir , it seems that both thor and Gladiator are giving ground rapidly. We do not even know if they yet live."
As if in answer to the helmsmans query there is a sudden rumbling that passes through the ship and with a gasp from all aboard the bridge , both Thor and Gladiators unmoving forms are thrown throuhg space like a bar of soap from a wet , closed fist.
K'Ruuk : " Tactical , grab onto them and teleport them aboard, helm, get us away from this creature, out of it's range."

Bothe answer : "Yes sir !"
K'Ruuk : "Are they aboard yet ? "
Tactical : "Yes sir they are."
K'Ruuk : "Helm, keep us out of its "reach" but close enough to keep an eye on it."
Helm: "Yes sir"
K'Ruuk exits the bridge at a trot, making his way to the medical facility
K'Ruuk : "Physician Strel, how are they ?"
Strel , an older Shiar with greying plummage looks at his Captain wearily
Strel : "They are both alive, Gladiators invulnerability kept him alive, while the Asgardians Mystic Hammer did the same for him. Both will be awake shortly."

K'Ruuk : "Awaken them now."
Strel : "Sir, I must protest. They were both injured greatly.."
K'Ruuk : "I wil;l not have another world destroyed on my watch, do you understand Strel ? I do not care about the consequences, and I believe neither do either of these men. Now awaken them immediately.!"
Strel says nothing else as he uses several medical devices to pump liquids into boith Gladiator and Thor, instantly they both awaken groggily
Thor : "Ego ! Where is the mad Planet ? Verily, in truth, where am I ?"
Strel : "You are back aboard the T'Kau."
Gladiator : " Did we destroy it? Is the menace over ?"
Thor : "Aye verily I voice the same concerns !"

K'Ruuk : "No my friends we did not. We slowed it's advance , but only just."
Thor is silent. He grasps Mjolnirs handle tightly, his veins in his arm bulging.
Thor : "We must destroy this beast, anyway necesarry. It hurls itself at the Earth , because its greatest enemies doth live there. Myself, the Fantastic Four, many times in the past have we defeated the mad planets schemes. "
K'Ruuk: "Well I am open to suggestions Thor, but we even tried to disable its engines, and the monster sheileded them with stone as fast as we blasted away a layer it would build another."
Gladiator : "And still no communications ? "
K'Ruuk : "No."
Gladiator: " If only we could divert it's path ,make it go some where else where it would do no harm against it's will."

Thor Suddenly leaps up right to the floor
Thor :"Gladiator, thou art a genius. Captain., bring thy ship around into the beasts path. Gladiator and I will make our egress from here."
Gladiator : "What do you plan Asgardian ?"
Thor : " If we cannot destroy this monster we can make it go somewhere 'gainst its will, somewhere dire to it's own existence."
Gladiator : "Where ?"
Thor : "The Negative zone "
Thor and Gladiator rocket away from the ship , as the T'Kau blasts forward back into Egos path. Thor begins to whirl Mjolnir behind the massive planetiod as the T'Kau opens fire again against it's surface.
Thor : "Now Gladiator , tis time for thy part in our grand play ."

Gladiator flies like a runaway comet, arc past the giant engines , he blasts them with his Solar vision
Fwash !
�Then looping around again he plows through them, his invulnerable form smashing them as a sledge hammer to tin.
THOOOM !
Thor meanwhile continues to open a rift behind the now drifting planet, as it lashes out at both the T'Kau and Gladiator, oblivious to Thors presence behind it, until it is to late ! Suddenly the face of Ego becomes filled with something all those assembled have not seen to this point , FEAR !
Thor continues to expand the rift, which slowly at first , then quicker inexorably draws Ego into its gaping maw, as Thor radiates the rift outwards, Egos mental screams of anger and fear suddenly drive all here to their knees

Ego : "NOOOO!! YOU WILL NOT DEFEAT ME ! NOT AGAIN ! I AM EGO, I WILL NOT BE BEATEN ! THE LIVING PLANET WILL DESTROY ALL WHO CONSPIRE AGAINST HIM !"
Gladiator rockets around to the Living Planets face again and slams into it once more, this time without the engines to fight against he manages to change its direction, and adds to the pull from Thors rift, Suddenly the living Planet belches lava and truck sized boulders outward like a pressurized geyser, knocking Gladiator into space as it now is helplessly drawn into the great maw behind it.
Ego : "If you destroy me this day so be it, but I will not die alone !"
Ego reaches out with tendrils and vines thousands of mile long to ensnare the unconscious form of Gladiator and draw Gladiator into the negative zone with him.
Thor : "I say Thee NAY Monster !"
Thor hurls Mjolnir at Gladiators entrapped form , smashing Gladiator free from the vines
Ego : "Very well thunder God If I cannot have the blue fool, then I will take you !"
hundreds of vines and tendrils wrap themselves around Thor, as both Ego the Living planet and Thor God of thunder disappear into the gaping hole on space .

K'Ruuk : "After them, enter the breach, hurry !"
But even as K'Ruuk speaks those words, the breach closes before them. All stand silent, Tana Nile enters the bridge, tears stain her face as she silently watches the tableau
Charuk : "Captain, there is something else, also."
K'Ruuk : (Quietly, and without emotion) : "What is it Charuk?"
Charuk: "There sir, floating near Gladiators unconscious body.."
All eyes look to where Charuk aims and magnifies the viewer. There floating in space, is Mjolnir.
