From Ancient Asgard he comes, The Prince of that Realm, an immortal warrior whose heritage
is tied both to the realm eternal as well as Earth itself ! He stands for honor and is a divine force
for good in the eternal struggle . His Strength of arm is second to none and it swings the mystic
hammer Mjolnir for all that is just and right ! He is The Mighty THOR, God of Thunder ! And
all the forces of the storm are his to command!
Splash Page : Thor is on the ground struggling to get up as the Rhino Batters him from a
standing position.
Rhino : " Nothin' personal Thor, but you're my meal ticket to two million smackers. I ain't gonna
let that pass me by, no how, no way."

Rhino continues to bludgeon an obviously wounded and hurting Thor
Thor : ( Tis beyond ...Unngh , belief ! Some foul miscreant hath put a Bounty on the head of the Prince of Asgard ! Not only that but, oww , after the beating I have taken at the hands of The Shocker and the Mad Electro,* unngh, I have not the strength to defeat this man-monster.)

Rhino : "Lay down and stay that way Goldilocks, this will only hurt fer a minute."
Suddenly a blast of energy envelopes the Rhino and sends him flying into a building
Off panel voice : "Do not sully the God of Thunder with your foul touch you animal."

Scene of the Enchantress standing amid the wreckage , hands glowing
Enchantress : "The Enchantress Commands !"
Thor now stands, shakily at first
Thor : " No Amora,... the Son Of Odin... needs no help"
Enchantress : "Hush my lord, I have come to aid thee in thy multiple struggles, do not as the
mortals say, look a gift steed in the chops. "
Thor Smiles through the pain
Thor : "Thy sentiment was truly understood Enchantress , if not thy wording of the phrase."
Rhino suddenly comes crashing out of the building
Rhino : "Hey Golden boy, what'd ya ferget about me ? Big mistake mister, big mistake !"

Thor : "Nay evil one The God of Thunder hath not forgotten thee, let us finish this then."
Rhino :" Fine, your funeral ."
Amora : "Thor , allow me to ..."
Thor pushes Amora behind him as the Rhino , head down begins the charge.
Thor : "Nay Enchantress, in truth I appreciate thy timely intervention , but this indeed is Thors'
battle....
Scene Of Thor delivering a devastating blow to the Rhinos' face with his hammer
TA- KOW !
Thor : ( Yelling )And Thor the Mighty will be the one to finish it !"
The Rhino is hurled through the air, smashing into and through several trucks that were
abandoned at the start of Thors battles, to finally slump to the ground unconscious.
Thor : "And so it is done unnnhhhhh."
He collapses to the ground, himself unconscious

Later....
Thor awakens amid the opulent splendor of the Plaza hotel. He is shirtless, his shirt and cape as
well as his helmet lie nearby
Thor : ( I am in the Enchantresses suites. She has obviously teleported us hither. In truth I
returned to Earth to question her regarding a mortal life my father , Lord Odin hath espied her
taking.)*

The Enchantress enters..
Amora : "I see you have awakened my prince. How do you feel ? Or would you like me to find
out first hand ?"
Thor : " Mayhap later Amora, as of now I must thank thee for thy timely intervention earlier. In
truth I was on my way to see thee when I was attacked ."
Amora : " To what end Thor ? "
Thor : " The mortal who did disappear during our affair with the world tree. What knoweth you
of this ?"

Amora squirms openly as she begins to pace around the room.
Amora : "No uh, my Lord, I know not of what you speak. I saw no mortal, and what concern of
yours is this man ? Was he a friend ? A colleague perhaps ? No , In truth he must have been
naught but a base mortal, and thus beneath our immortal notice ."
Thor is silent for a moment, his eyes begin to burn with a fury that makes the Enchantress step
backwards a pace.
Thor : " So....,thou hath indeed killed this noble soul as I had been led to believe."
Amora : "N-no my lord I.."
Thor : "Do not lie to me woman, thou hath slipped back into Asgardian proper, a thing you do
only in times of great stress. You lie, and you compound the deed by judging thyself to be so far
above the Mortals who surround us. There are indeed many things you should learn from these
short lived beings, their compassion and sense of right and wrong be but two. You disgust me
woman. I had in truth thought thee capable of so much more."
Thor moves towards the window, donning his cape and shirt as well his helmet.

Amora : "Thor, my prince, please hear me out I ...."
Thor spins , furious
Thor : "Not another lie from thy venomous lips Amora. Our time together is at an end. "
He moves to open the window, then turns to her, slowly this time,
Thor : "In truth Amora, I am most saddened by this. Thou wert in my thoughts for some time
now. I had hoped thou hadst learned the error of thy ways."
He opens the window and begins to lean out before stopping himself one last time
Thor : " I see now I was mistaken . The mortals have another saying Enchantress, You cannot
teach an old dog new tricks. I see they are right."
And with that he is gone in a rush of wind .

Amora : " N-no, Thor I-I Love thee."
And she crumples into her bed amid sobs
Scene shift
Thor is flying above Manhattan , obviously very angry
Thor : ( That woman has much to learn, but I fear she will never see those lessons, as blind as
she is to the realities and responsibilities of godhood. My blood doth boil now.)
Thor angles across the city, making a roundabout path towards Avengers mansion. Suddenly he
sees smoke on the horizon and with a flick of the wrist, turns Mjolnir in that direction.
Thor : ( I see something here that could indeed assuage my anger, tis indeed two costumed
miscreants bound by some sort of energy chain at the wrists, and in truth , they appear to be up
to no good.)

Thor dives towards the two unknown men who are in the process of tearing an eighteen wheeler
in two like it were paper.
Thor : "Hold mortals, the God of Thunder commands thee !"
Slowly they turn, a gleam in their eyes
Hammer : "We know "
They attack Thor, charging him with the energy conduit between them glowing white hot
Shhhhh KOW !!
Thor : "Unnghh! "
Anvil : "You're goin' down tough guy. That bounty's as good as ours now."
Thor : "No fools, your hides are as good as MINE !"
Thor hurls Mjolnir at Hammer, who is closest to him. And in an explosion of power, Hammer is
knocked flying ( Dragging Anvil along with him) by a....Hammer ! The Hammer of Thor !
Thor stands as Mjolnir returns to his waiting hand

Thor : "Thy appearance was indeed well timed mortals. I am angry and as such need to vent my
considerable wrath. Thou hath become the recipient of , as my friend Hercules would put it, "the
gift"
Ta-KOOOMMM!
Thor pounds Anvil with a savage uppercut, knocking them both from their feet yet again
Anvil : "Arrrhhh!"
Hammer : "Hold still Anvil, we gotta beat this chump , and you know we can do it if we act
together, hell, we almost beat the Hulk. What chance has this guy got ? "
Thor throws himself at their conduit chain, knocking them both flying as he drags them through
the street.
Thor : "Ha ! I am glad thou hath told of thy battle with the Hulk, verily for thee to be still
standing thou must indeed be made of sturdy stuff. Good. We shall learn how sturdy indeed."

Thor backhands Anvil, sending them both a city block with one blow !
The two villains right themselves, as Thor flies at them from the background
Anvil : "This, guys nuts ! We gotta get outta here, he's gonna kill us ! I never hearda him fightin'
like this . He wants our heads !"
Hammer : "NO ! We don't give up you wuss, we fight together like we trained. C'mon now, do it.
Otherwise yer right, and we'll end up bein' meat !"
Anvil : "O-okay lets do it then ."
As Thor approaches them and begins to descend they unleash twin punches at the Thunder God,
slamming him back across the deserted street.
Pa-Kow !

Thor is stunned momentarily, but his great anger has sustained him, as his Asgardian blood
begins to boil once more.
Thor : "Ah , finally thou hath shown thy mettle. Good this will not be so boring then."
He rubs his lip with the back of his hand as he approaches them.
Anvil : "I don't remember hearin' this guy bein' so vicious."
Hammer : "Yeah , me neither."
The villains charge Thor again, this time knocking him down with their conduit, once down they
begin to pound him.

Thor : " Arggh , Better mortals, much better indeed, but now tis my turn."
Thor grabs the conduit and whips it hard into the air, ,snapping both men off their feet and high
into the air.
Thor : "Now tis time to end this boring game."
Tra-BOOOOMMMM!
Thor slams Mjolnir into the conduit as the men come back down, severing it and sending wave
upon wave of coruscating pain back to the two villains.
Hammer and Anvil : ""AAHHHHAARRRRGGGGHHHHH"
Thor : "Scream not so loudly villains. In truth you sought my death and so would be deserving of
nothing less yourselves, were I not a God who in truth believed in morals and laws."

From the shadows a large figure watches and muses to himself
Large man : ( So..he has defeated two more. And now he appears almost berserk with rage.
Good. When I kill him I want him to fight like a man possessed , like one who fights with his all
I want him to know who it was that handed him his head.)
The mystery man steps from the shadows and speaks
Large man : "Now it's my turn Thor. I won't be so easy to defeat."
Thor turns
Thor : "The Abomination."
Interlude
Back to the shadowed office building we've all seen before, but this time to a special lab filled
with computers and workmen, but our interests are only in two men here . They are known as ...
Shadowed man : "So assistant , how goes our experiments ?"
And....
Assistant : "Very well Count, very well indeed. The readings from all the participants I am
receiving are astounding, simply astounding."

Shadowed man : ( Angrily)"Never call me Count, do you hear ? That was my accursed brother.
He had everything while I , an illegitimate half son to our illustrious father never received any of
the families fineries. No, I was kept in secret, my mother barely given enough to survive on."
He turns angrily, his face still in shadow
Shadowed man : "No you will call me Lord, and when I have fully gained the power I seek , you
will call me Lord of the world, for NONE will withstand me !"
Assistant (Calmly ) : "Yes my....Lord, as you wish." ( Fool, if you knew with whom you deal.. Ah
but the fun will continue, a while longer at the very least.)
Shadowed man : "Now attend me , let us continue our experiments unhindered by the melee
outside. How much longer until the process is completed ? "
Assistant ( Looking at his computer screen ) We will have all the results within another day at
the longest. Then your power will be complete."

Shadowed man : "Good, continue then my friend."
He turns and leaves , patting the assistant on the shoulder as he exits.
Assistant : (Keep your foul touch to yourself you fool.)
Interlude 2
Scene of Jerry Sapristi, Thors friend making a phone call.
Jerry : "Yeah, hi ya, I'm looking for Sigurd Jarlson. He left this number so I could reach him. I
just wanted to tell him that me and the Mrs. Discussed his offer, and the answer is yes , I'll come
to work for him if he still wants me."
On the other end of the line Peggy Carter sitting on switchboard duty at Avengers Mansion
doesn't know what to make of the call, but since it came in on the unpublished "Special" Line
she takes the message.
Peggy : "Very good sir, we're just an answering service, but I will forward this to Mr Jarlson.
Does he have your number ? "
Jerry : "Sure does . Thanks."
Jerry hangs up, smiling
Jerry : ( yeah, I think good things are gonna come of this.)

Thor is slammed by the Abomination, knocked flying into what was once the eighteen wheeler
Hammer and Anvil had torn apart.
Shhracckkk !
Thor : "OOOOFFF!!"
Abomination : "Unlike these others, I am no fool Thunder God, but I wanted our battle to be in
earnest.
He kicks Thor in the face, lifting him fifteen feet into the air.
Abomination : "I don't want the money for myself, hell I've survived in these sewers for five
years now, with nothing but my wits."
Again he hits Thor, this time in the face as Thor was readying to attack.

Abomination : "No, I want the money for my fellows beneath the city streets, and to tell you the
truth , I want the challenge of defeating you in fair combat."
He throws another punch at Thor, who this time catches it in his right hand.
Thor : "Twill be no challenge grotesquerie, twill be thy defeat !"
Thor throws a massive left at the Abominations face, knocking him back
Thor : "Thy attack did much to assuage my rage, I thank thee. But there still be the matter of thy
attack ."
Abomination : "Little God, let us battle."
Thor : "No more words need be spoken then, for in truth I tire of this foolish Bounty and all who
participate."

Abomination : "Yeah, my feelings exactly."
They clash , in a thunderous roar that shatters windows for a block around.
Ba-BOOMMM !!
Thors powerful right lifts the Abomination off his feet
Ta-koom !
The Abomination kicks at Thor from the ground as Thor approached him.
Thor throws Mjolnir in an underhand move that blasts Abomination in the face.
TROOOMMM!
Thor leaps at the Abomination, as the monster lies on the street, suddenly the Abomination
strikes with a two handed double fisted blow
Ba-BOOM !!

Thor : "Verily monster, your strength is great indeed !"
Abomination : "And yours Godling. You have my respect."
Thor : "Walk away now Monster. I will not pursue you. You have earned my respect. Leave with
that or I will have thee in chains in the prisons of man."
Abomination : "Bahh, I am no monster, my name is Emil Blonsky. I was a spy for mother Russia
before being turned into this horrid creature before you."
Thor : "Very well Emil, leave as I said, go back to your people 'neath ground, or suffer a most
crushing defeat."

Abomination : "No , never ! You DIE !"
Abomination leaps at Thor once again, this time Thor slams Mjolnir into the Abominations jaw ,
throwing him skyward, and into Central park.
Pa-KOOOMMM!!
Thor flies after his hurtling foe, crashing into the Abomination in the park, sending them both
skidding across the great lawn.
Thor : "Thou hadst had thy chance Emil Blonsky, now the time for second chances is past."
Abomination : " Fool, I asked for no quarter."
Abomination hammers Thor with a left , then follows it with a right
Pow ! Poomm!
Grabbing Thors cape, the Abomination swings him by it, smashing him into the ground
ba-boom!

Thor is stunned,. Abomination has him by the throat
Thor : ( Mayhap I made a mistake in taunting him, his strength perhaps rivals my own, and my
anger at Amora earlier did cloud my vision .)
Abomination : "Now we end it Godling. I know perhaps you weren't one hundred percent due to
your constant battles the past several days, but still you are about to be beaten, permanently."
Thor : " Verily....monster...I say thee....NAY !"
Thor explodes with a massive double handed blow, breaking the Abominations grip
.
Ba-KOOMM!
Thor : "Now you will learn what it means to oppose a warrior born, aye indeed one born
centuries unending before thee."
Thor follows his first blow with a powerful left
SPRAK!

Thor : "I will never let the likes of thee defeat me monster."
TOOM!
Another powerful left knocks the Abomination back
Thor : "You are a valiant foe Abomination, but Thor is thy better. This charade ends now."
Thor brings Mjolnir down with a heavy blow upon the Abomination, burying him in the ground
with almost earthquake like power
BOOOOMM!
Thor : "And now tis over Emil Blonsky."
Thor turns his back and begins to walk away, as from the sky the recorder unit sent by Tana Nile
descends towards him.
Recorder : "Greetings Thor, the Rigellian people send....."
THWACK !
The Abomination climbed out of the hole he was in and smashes the Recorder with one blow
into a hundred pieces.
Thor : "No ! I know not what he wanted!* Abomination you FOOL !!"

Pa-kow ! Thor delivers the final telling blow with Mjolnir, sending the Abomination flying into
the streets from the Park in one powerful blow.
Thor : "Now in truth tis over . No one could rise from such a blow. But what of the recorder ?"
Thor walks over to the wreckage of the Recorder, but there is nothing left to tell him the robots
mission.
Thor : ( Now I have a double problem, first this Bounty ,and now whate'er the Recorder had
wanted. Plus what in truth do I do about Amora now ? Indeed can I walk away from her after all
this ? )

Cut to
A bar deep in the Chelsea area. At the Bar sits a huge man we've all seen before, his name is
Cain Marko. On the TV an announcer is in Central Park as a clean up crew begins assessing the
damage. The announcer speaks
Announcer: "And so Thor defeated the Abomination, who disappeared into the sewers before he
could be taken into custody. Then the Asgardian flew into the evening sky."
Marko (Smiling): ( Good, get your rest Goldilocks, tomorrow you meet your match. Tomorrow
you meet ...the Juggernaut !)
