From Ancient Asgard he comes, The Prince of that Realm, an immortal warrior whose heritage is tied both to the realm eternal as well as Earth itself ! He stands for honor and is a divine force for good in the eternal struggle . His Strength of arm is second to none and it swings the mystic hammer Mjolnir for all that is just and right ! He is The Mighty THOR, God of Thunder ! And all the forces of the storm are his to command!
Splash page: Thor sits up in an Asgardian bed chamber, at his side sits Fandral and Hogun.
Volstagg stands near a window. A serving girl is pouring water for Thor on a table.
Thor : "..... so then was I pulled through the dimensional rift, where I didst Battle 'gainst Doom
and all his stolen Franklin bred power. Finally after what couldst have been a moment or years
we were seperated, and I was hurled from that dimension and back to Midgard, not minutes
before I returned to Avengers Mansion.

In walks Sif
Sif:"Speaking of Avengers my Prince, you have guests."
Sif turns to go, and behind her enters Captain America, Iron Man and the Vision. As well as Dr.
Kincaid
Thor: "My fellow Avengers! Verily my heart doth leap at the sight of thee!!"
Cap A (With a wide grin): "Hello my friend, how are you feeling today?"
Dr. Kincaid: "Don't answer him Thor ,I'll be the judge of that."
Kincaid begins to take Thors blood pressure

Vision: "You seem to be in good spirits Thor."
Thor:"How could I not be? When my fellow Avengers doth come acalling what could possibly
be wrong with the world? But in truth, how didst thou get hither?"
Iron Man: " Your father, Lord Odin appeared before us and explained how you singlehandedly,
AGAIN, saved all of creation."
CapA:"And then Dr. Kincaid asked to see you and Odin agreed."
Dr. Kincaid: "Well thunder god, I have to say your Asgardian metabolism never ceases to
amaze me, another day, two at most and you'll be as good as new>"
Thor: "that is great news indeed Keith Kincaid, verily Thor is in thy debt! "

Dr. Kincaid": For what Thor? Your body did all the work. I just gave the clean bill of health.
Take it easy the next day or two, let somebody else save the Universe for once."
Thor: "I'll take thy good advice under consideration my friend."
Sif reenters
Sif: "Captain America? Might Lord Odin have a moment of thy time?"
CapA: "It would be my honor my lady."
Cap nods at Thor and the others and walks off with SIf

Volstagg: "So Thor, after thy battle with Doom thou didst return here, correct?"
Thor:"Aye, Volstagg that is correct."
Hogun(Grim faced and somber as ever) "Twas as we thought then. We saw all that transpired
whilst thou didst battle the Lizards."
Fandral:" Including the supposed "Party" Somehow they didst get all our feelings and emotions
correctly."
Hogun: "Aye, In truth they must have been watching us for a time untold."

Thor: ( Suddenly grim face himself) " HHHmmm, twould explain Sifs' distancing of herself
from me."*

Dr. Kincaid : (Finishing taking a blood sample with a laser tipped needle) " This is truly
astounding, there's still enough poisonous venom in your system to knock out a bull Elephant!!
How did you fight these creatures, never mind that, how did you remain standing?"
Thor: "Twas not easy my friend. Verily I didst collapse from exhaustion. If not for the doctors
of Asgard I would be in perhaps far worse condition."
Iron Man: "And how long ago was this? "
Thor: "Four days have passed since I did conclude the battle with these vermin."
All involved exchange amazed glances, even the Vision looks impressed.

Cut to captain America and Odin
Odin: "Greetings good Captain, I have an offer to make of thee."
cap looks surprised, he stifles his amazement
CapA: "What is it Lord Odin?"
Odin: "Some time ago I was told that thou hadst lifted mighty Mjolnir in battle*"

CapA: "Yes sir, that is true."
Odin: "Well good Captain, that is an honor reserved only for the pure of heart and clean of
spirit. My offer then is this . . . how wouldst thou like to become a god?"(Picture of Caps jaw
dropping wide open)

Cut to Earth, A trench-coated figure with a wide brim hat enters a doctors office door marked
Dr. Kincaid
Nurse: "Can I help you sir? Do you have an appointment?"
Trenchcoat : "Naaahh, I'm here to see the Doc. "
Nurse:" Well you need an appointment sir, perhaps the Doctors associate can help you. Dr.
Kincaid is away on an emergency."
He sits down
TRenchcoat: "Naahhh sister, I'll wait. Kincaids the only one who can help me."
He then lights up a cigar and sits waiting as the Nurse and the other patients eye the big man
nervously

Back in Asgard . . .
Captain America walks back into Thors room unusually silent and reflective
Volstagg: "And so good Vision, I then trounced the brigand with a mighty blow to his skull and
thus the realm eternal was saved once more!"
Fandral : ( To Iron Man in hushed whisper) " If only we could be so saved from his tales of
valor."
Hogun: "Aye my Iron friend in truth Valiant Volstagg did trip and fall on the villain, crushing
him through three floors of the old castle before coming to a stop in the stone basement,
Volstagg atop him."
Fandral:"Aye, one couldst call it a most crushing defeat."
The three try hard to suppress a laugh, Volstagg continues talking to the Vision as Thor gives
them a stern look, then smiles himself. Vision (His ears more sensitive then a humans or a
wide-eyed Volstaggs) looks at the three heroes noncommital ly and returns his attention to
Volstaggs tale.
Dr. Kincaid: (To Cap) "Why so quiet captain?"
CapA:"HHhmmm? What was that Dr.?"

Iron man: "He asked why your looking like you've just turned down the world on a silver
platter."
CapA: "Perhaps I did Iron Man, . . . Odin just offered me godhood . . . and I refused."
All look at Cap in stunned silence.
Suddenly the awkward moment is broken by a blaring beeping, The Warriors three jump
backwards almost knocking each other (And Dr. Kincaid ) over as they draw their
weapons.
Thor( Having spent more time on Midgard then these others), Iron Man and Captain
America exchange smiles as the Vision turns away to hide his own faint grin. Kincaid
reaches down into his pocket and shuts his beeper off.
Dr. Kincaid: "This is incredible, I've gotten beeped from my office! Here, on Asgard! How
is this even possible?"
The Warriors three regain their composure, trying to look offhanded about the whole
incident.
Volstagg:"Well good physician as it has been said, Asgard is but a heartbeat and a universe
away from Midgard, so verily, anything is possible."

Dr. Kincaid": Well either way, I must get in touch with them immediately, I suppose
there's no payphones here?"
Thor: "No, Keith Kincaid there are not, however I wouldst be happy to return thee to
midgard, I think tis time I removed myself from this bed and stretched my limbs."
Dr. Kincaid: "That's all well and good Thor, but I think you should still take it easy as I
said earlier>'
Thor raised his hands in front of himself, as if to ward off the Doctor
Thor:" Verily good Dr, I shall. No adventure will I crave, just a restful few days amidst the
world I love so much."
Fandral to Iron man in whispers, with a wink and a smile
Fandral: "Plus it gives him a chance methinks to avoid the Lady Sif as well the
Enchantress."
Shellhead nods and smiles beneath his own armored mask, knowing all to well about the
scorned woman.

Thor: "So be it then my friends, let us be off"
(He leaps out of bed and begins donning his traditional garb)
Dr. Kincaid: " Not so fast Thundergod, if you're going to be spending the next few days on
Earth, then I want you wearing your armored suit. You need all the extra protection you
can carry, I know you're going to disobey me and get into some huge brawl. So wear the
Armor, Doctors orders."
Thor : "Very well Dr Kincaid. "
Thor opens a closet and there is his battle armor, all shined and glistened.
Iron Man: "Nice polish job, maybe I should get whoever did yours to buff out mine as
well."
Thor:"Aye my friend Odin did send for the greatest of smithies to repair damage to my
prized suit whilst I rested."

Again Kincaids beeper goes off and again the warriors three jump, but this time they
compose themselves quickly.
Dr Kincaid:"This time they've beeped me with a 911 attached, it means an emergency!I've
got to get going!"
Thor: "Have no fear Doctor, I will transport you hither, outside to the gardens my boon
companions. Warriors three, inform Lord Odin I shall return in a fortnight or three and
that we will speak at length then."
Fandral the dashing nods his head, still embarrassed about his reaction to Kincaids pager,
Hogun shows no emotion as Volstagg waves gleefully at the departing heroes.
Thor spins his mighty mallet above his head and all five beings dissapear in a burst of
lightning, to reapear an instant later in front of Kincaids midtown office.

Vision: "All seems to be in order Dr. Kincaid there are no emergencies from this point of
view." Perhaps it is patient related."
Dr Kincaid: Perhaps Vision. You can all go back to the mansion if you'd like, I'm sure
everything is fine here. Thor if you've got a moment I'd just like to make a few more quick
tests before you leave."
Thor "As you would doctor, (Turns to the other Avengers) My friends, I will catch up with
thee at the mansion later."
They exchange goodbyes and the three dissapear in to the sky. Thor and Kincaid dissapear
into the office . Another panel showing the outside of the building then a third one
..........BA-Doom!!!!

Thor comes crashing out of the building flying backwards. , followed by the trenchcoated
figure.
trenchcoat: " I don't know how ya found me Goldilocks, but you ain't gettin' yer hands on
me , not this time!"
Thor (Obviously disoriented) What? verily why hast thou attacked me? Ben Grimm Is that
you?
trenchcoat: "Grimm? Naaah you pantywaist, somebody from your much worse
nightmare."
He rips the Trenchcoat off, and the Absorbing Man stands ready to pummel Thor!
Thor : "Crusher Creel ! get thee back villian ."
Thor throws his hammer at Creel, it slams him backward into several parked cars.
Instantly he obtains the cars steely aspect.

Absorbing man: "Stay outta my way Goldilocks, this time I mean it , I'll kill ya if I haveta,
you know I got what it takes ta do it."
Thor : "Thou art mad Creel, stand down and save thyself grievious injury."
Creel: "No you freaky talkin' wierdo! My baby needs me!"
He leaps at Thor, both of them destroying several cars in the lot as they tumble into the
road. Thor kicks Creel away
Creel : "Okay lightnin' boy, if that's the way it's gotta be , then that's the way it's gotta
be.!"

Creel touches the ground and takes on the aspect of concrete. then he again leaps at Thor
Thor : "Have a care mortal, concrete can be shattered."
Thor fires off a powerful blow , actually breaking chunks of concrete off of the Absorbing
man.
Creel : "Arrrhhh! that freakin' hurt, you are gonna pay so much fer that!"
he runs over to a dumpster in Kincaids doctors office lot and brutally throws it at Thor,
who is taken by surprise and knocked down by the hurtling projectile. Behind the dumpster
is Creels ball and chain which he begins to whirl over his head furiously.
Creel: "Here it comes pansy boy, enjoy!"
the ball slams into Thor, carrying him througfh the building behind him and out the other
side

Thor:( Kincaid was correct, verily my vision doth swim before my very eyes! I am indeed
not well yet.Creel actually has me at a distinct disadvantage.)
Absorbing man comes bounding after Thor , through the very building and out to the next
street. traffic is stopped everywhere as people abandon thier vehicles and run. Thor leaps
to his feet and begins to attack Creel, pounding him unmercifully. he reins blow after hi
impact blow on creels concrete form.
Thor :"I know not what caused thy attack on me base villian, but I know what will finish
it"
Creel: " Big words from a guy who cin hardly stand right now, and you know you was
comin' after me."

thor: "What? I know not what you speak of Creel."
Creel :"Liar !! You and yer kind never gave me a chance! No way am I lettin' you stop me
from savin my babe."
Another powerful blow from Creel sends Thor flying.
Thor : (In truth , he is besting me. Must I kill him in order to beat him?)
Again Absorbing man lets fly with his ball and chain, only this time Thor is ready. He hurls
Mjolnir into the ball and chain, shattering it.
Creel :" NO! no way lightin' boy, not this time."
Grabbing onto a steel light post he transforms back to steel and throws himself at Thor
again, Thor counters with a solid blow to Creels chin, denting his metal face.
Creel: "Arrgh , you 're through now blondy you hear me through!"

Thor says nothing but he leaps over to an abandoned cement mixing truck, waits for Creel
to get closer, then picks up the 20+ ton vehicle and slams it down ontop of Creel, pushing
him through the street, to the subway below. A massive explosion follows as Thor is pushed
backwards by the force of it.
Thor: " Verliy I hope that doth give me a moments respite, I am indeed feeling ill, the world
doth spin before my eyes."
Creels voice: "No rest fer you punk! My baby needs Kincaids help, and she's gonna get it."

Creel explodes upward, a being of living flame he flies towards Thor
Creel: "You like disco thunder boy? Heres a hit for ya BURN BABY BURN!"
Thor: "Enow villian ! My patience has worn thin. Now this insanity will stop !"
Thor taps Mjolnir twice on the ground , whipping up a deluge that follows Creel wherever
he runs, instantly putting out his flame , and turning him to water
Thor :" Thou shalt not escape that easily Crusher Creel, the vengeance of Thor is upon
thee."

Thor suddenly lowers the air temperature around Creel , turning his rain storm to ice,
freezing the Absorbing man solid.
Creel "No! She needs me, she needs my help, Kincaids the only one who cin save 'er!"
Thor: "What art thou speaking of Creel? What ails thee?"
Creel:" Not me you hairy freak, Titania, my Wife ! She was hurt two weeks ago when we was tryin' ta cash in on the whole Spiderman reward thing.* Her lungs got burned by da Smoke. Spidey saved 'er, but the prison Docs can't operate a course a her super hard skin, and Kincaids the only one wit' any real super people healin' knowledge."

Thor :" Stand thee down Absorbing man, surrender to my custody, as an Avenger I have
certain abilities bestowed on me by our UN charter. I will Bring Kincaid to thy wounded
spouse. "
Creel : "Can I trust ya? I love 'er and I don't want nothin' ta happen to 'er."
Thor: "Obviously something already did Creel, Mayhap in the future thou wilt think more
before attacking someone for a boon of gold coin......And yes thou art able to trust the
Thunder God. the question is can the Thunder god trust thee.?"
Creel: "Yeah, on my honeys life I swear, no more attacks. Just please get Kincaid to help
her."
Thor nods

THOR AND CREEL stand outside an operating room as Kincaid comes out, pulling bloody
gloves off.
Kincaid: "Well Mr Creel, your wife won't be singing in the chior anytime soon, but I don't
think that's any consideration for you is it? She'll be fine. She just needs some heavy rest,
which I think you'll both be getting plenty of where you're going."
Creel: " Thanks doc, I can't thank you enough. You don't know how much this means to
me."
He pumps Kincaids hand vigorously, then turns to Thor
Creel: "I know she's a bad cookie, but I love'er anyway I know an upright guy like you
can't know what I'm meanin' here, but thanks fer what ya done."
Thor turns away as Code blue takes Creel into custody thinking to himself
Thor: ( Aye crusher Creel I know all to well what thou has meant, all to well.)
Next : Some old friends return, Thor gets a job! and a mystery villian returns.
