From Ancient Asgard he comes, The Prince of that Realm, an immortal warrior whose heritage
is tied both to the realm eternal as well as Earth itself ! He stands for honor and is a divine force
for good in the eternal struggle . His Strength of arm is second to none and it swings the mystic
hammer Mjolnir for all that is just and right ! He is The Mighty THOR, God of Thunder ! And all
the forces of the storm are his to command!

Splash Page: Thor descends from above, whirling Mjolnir above his head as
people are pointing up at him.
Thor :"Verily Mortals ! Let the heavens rejoice --Thor is back on the one,
true Midgard, where he belongs!"

Thor makes his way into Avengers mansion, there meeting his fellow
Avengers.
Thor: "Greetings my comrades in arms! We are back again on our own world !
Iron Man..." Thor claps Shell head on the back "Tis good to have thee back as
an adult, on our proper world, no less."
Iron Man: "Yes, Thor, I have to agree, but to be honest my memory of recent
events seem hazy at best."
Captain A : "Mine too, Shell head. Seems we all have that problem. Vision,
can you access your long term memory of recent events?"

Vision: "No Captain, my memory systems seems to have a blank spot for the
last twelve plus months, the last thing I recall are the events leading up to
the destruction of Onslaught."
Scarlet Witch: "Cap, the Black Widow just contacted us, Cap there's a lot we
have to discuss with her. She's on her way here, and Cap, she's overcome with
...joy!!!"
Cap A: "Natasha? Overcome with Joy?? What has happened here?"
Wasp and Giant Man enter the room
Wasp: "Hercules and the Black Knight are on their way here as well, in fact
it seems every hero in Manhattan is coming to see us."

Hours later.... Thor readies to leave what has turned into a party,
with the media in attendance as well.
Thor : "My friends, I must take my leave of thee, If what has transpired is
indeed true, as astonishing as it seems, I must hie me away to Asgard to see
the All father. I am most certain that he doth already knows I have returned
but when last we spoke, twas in anger. Tis time those sad words were put
behind us."
Cap clasps his friends shoulder,
Cap A: "Go ahead my friend, we'll keep the fort until your return."
Whirling Mjolnir Thor rockets skyward waving to the Avengers as he flies
above Manhattan

Thor: (The Avengers as well as the Fantastic Four and many other
heroes are now in discussion about the past events of our lost year, but they
can muddle through this mystery without the Odinson. I must needs be see the
All father as well as Sif, and now Amora as well. It seems I may face a
quandary of sorts there. Mayhap I should've spoken at length to Hercules, he
is far more experience at the ways of the female heart then I.)
Thor approaches the rainbow bridge.

Thor alights on the Rainbow Bridge, there, as ever, Heimdall awaits.
Thor: "Heimdall, my friend, my heart doth sing with joy to see thy
countenance!!"

Heimdall: "And Mine as well my brother in arms, all Asgard rejoices at your
return. I followed your return to the realm with mine own all seeing eyes,
and did rejoice at the sight of thy approach."
Thor : "Verily my friend, I am pleased to see thee as well !!"
Both warriors clasp each others forearms in a warriors greeting.
Heimdall: "You should hurry thee to the All Father my friend, he as well as
all Asgard await the Prince of the realms return."
THOR: "The who am I to say them nay good Heimdall."
And so smiling and with a jaunty wave of the hand Thor turns and makes his
way to the gates of Asgard
Thor: Verily, Tis good to be home once more. To feel the energy of the realm
eternal is a most heady feeling indeed.

All around Thor children run as he walks the Asgardian streets,
enjoying the feel of his home, the mystic realm he has lived in for eons.
Around a bend Finally he comes to the Palace Royal. At the gates to the
Palace stand Odins honor guard bowing they're heads to Thor , they each
cradle they're swords on their laps, holding them palm upwards for the
Thunder God to see. as they bend one knee to kneel before him.
Thor: "Arise Good warriors, today is not a day to kneel, it is a day of
boundless joy, Thor is home at last and happy indeed to be here !"

A voice booms out from within the Palace,
Odin: "Then show thy good cheer and honor us with thy presence thunderer" !
With that Thor pushes open the twin palace doors and enters into a scene of
fantastic splendor.

There , to Thors right stand the warriors three, Fandral the dashing,
Hogan the grim, and Volstagg the voluminous as well as the Lady Sif. To his
Left stand Balder the Brave, Amora the enchantress, as well as Loki, Thors
sometimes evil brother. Past Loki stands the Grand Vizier, Odins right hand
man as it were. Next to him is Freya, Odins wife and then there atop his
throne, a majestic figure sits, bedecked in furs and a massive gold war helm
atop his head sits the power , the strength and the fury behind the realm
eternal, Odin the All father, ruler of Asgard!!
Odin: "Verily my son Tis good to see thee but I mus---"
Thor: "Hold father, I must interrupt thee and apologize in the advance for
this , yet another transgression against thee. I have made many a mistake in
my life as have all beings. My gravest I fear was rejecting thine feelings
about staying on Midgard. I do love the Earth as second home , and in truth
adventure abounds there as on no other world but this last adventure almost
proved my undoing and as such I wouldst never have seen thy countenance
again. I would like to apologize to thee for any harsh words that Mayhap
passed between us . I am thy son and thy warrior as always."

Thor bends the knee this time, bowing to Odin as the guards did to
him earlier.
Odin: "Arise thunderer, if thou wouldst had let me continue thou would have
known Twas Odins desire to apologize to THEE !! I have been a pig headed
fool my son, as hadst thou been. At least I knoweth where thou hadst gotten
it from."
Odin claps his son on the back, then grasps him by both shoulders staring
him in the face.
Odin: "Tis good to see thee home once more my son."
Thor : "Tis good to be here my father"

Odin , :(to the entire hall, )"Then let the revelry begin, verily the
Son of Odin Hath returned at long last. Seemingly from Helas realm itself!!"
A huge party begins as musicians play, jesters appear and the food and wine
begin to flow. Thor makes his way around the room, seeing old friends. He
comes upon Amora, who eyes him dubiously.

Amora: "So, what sayeth thou Thor? Art thou glad to see me? Or have
thy feelings returned for the one who spurned thy love?"
The Enchantress gestures toward Sif, who is standing to one side speaking
with Fandral. All The while following Thor and Amoras every movement.
Thor: "A moment fair Amora, I wouldst speak to the lady Sif Alone"
the Thunder god moves away towards Fandral and Sif
Fandral: "Well met my brother in arms! Mine heart doth sing with joy at thy
presence, tho in truth the fair maiden Sif always makes mine heart sing
brightly."
With a slight bow and a wink towards Thor, Fandral walks towards Volstagg

Sif: "So my prince, my heart as well sings to see thee."
Thor: "As does mine my lady, come walk with me through Odins gardens."
The two make their way outside, there they sit upon an open bench
Thor: "My lady Sif, we have spent much time apart and I think of thee often,
but I do not know if we are indeed better with or without the other."
Sif smiles
Sif: "My prince, the same thoughts have occurred to myself as well I suggest
we, as the mortals say "Take it one day at a time."

Thor smiles at this
Thor "Thou art indeed wise my dear Sif."
Thor kisses her gently on the cheek, then stands and walks inside. Looking
around he sees Amora cast him a scornful glance as she exits the palace
Balder approaches,
Balder : "Let her go my friend as we all know that one is trouble indeed"
Thor : "Aye good Balder, but there is an inherent spark of goodness neath
the cold exterior, I hath seen it with mine own eyes."

Interlude 1) On Earth, in the city known as New York six balls fall
into six slots and a very evil man suddenly becomes that much closer to his
plans bearing fruition. He has just become a very Rich very evil man.
Interlude 2) The mountains of Norway. A mountain climber has been separated
from his party. He struggles through waist deep snow as wind blows the
quickly swirling storm all around him. Suddenly he spots an opening in the
sheer rock face. He struggles to make his way inside.

Once inside suddenly the wall collapses, trapping the man in the
cavern. He continues deeper inside, there coming upon a massive all to
familiar hammer. Picking it up he suddenly reads an inscription that just as
suddenly disappears. "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, will
gain the power of Thor." End interlude

Thor sleeps fitfully, his dreams filled with nightmares most foul.
He tosses and turns. Suddenly he feels a hand on his shoulder, unsure if this
is a dream or reality he shakes the cobwebs from his head. Instantly, and
with a warriors clarity his head clears.
Next to him and kissing his shoulder is the enchantress.
Enchantress: "Hello my prince, we did not have the time before to get
reacquainted."
Thor: "Amora, aye, there is much we need say to one another."
Enchantress: "Hush my lord and let me soothe thy tired bones."

Kneeling behind Thor , the Enchantress begins to knead his
shoulders, slowly kissing them. But almost all at once her image begins to
change, her teeth becomes fangs, her visage reptilian and she savagely
attacks Thor, Biting his shoulder "CHOMP"!
Thor: "Verily woman art thou INSANE?"
With a mighty twist he hurls the she beast over his shoulder and into his
wall, "BA- KOOM!!" for the first time seeing what was really in his house
with him.
The creature is over seven feet tall and covered in scales. The face drips
venom from 8" fangs, its tail swishes the air mightily, its rancid breath
fouling the air in the close quarters.
Thor: "Odins beard !! What hast thou done with Amora? And what manner of
beast art thou?"

Thor grabs Mjolnir at the same time the now totally transformed
reptilian beast leaps across the room at him
Thor: "Have at thee beast !!"
Thor slams Mjolnir across the things head, blasting it through the wall to
the street outside. Leaping out into the street with it Thor is hit by the
creatures tail, slamming him back to the street.

Thor: "Monster !! Now will come a reckoning !!"
Thor pounds the beast with a left handed uppercut,"BOOM" then follows through
with a devastating right with Mjolnir "DA-KOOM"
The creature flies forty feet through the air. Landing in a heap against the
side of a building.

Thor grabs the beast by the throat and gets face to face with it
Thor: "Answer me monster, where is Amora? What has become of her?"
Creature: " Foolish godling, I have no answerssss for you sssssave
thissss!!"
The beast spits venom from between its broken fangs directly into Thor's
face!
Thor : "Aaaarrrgggghh !!! Foul beast, get thee away !"
With a mighty backhanded swing Thor cracks the thing across its chest,
rocketing it up and away, over the city and into the distance.
Thor: "Verily my vision doth swirl before me, mine eyes doth burn from the
Beasts sting and the bite it hath given me, I begin to feel its effects as
well."

Thor stumbles forward, then trips over some rubble as Asgardians
begin to surround him, obviously awakened by the noise. He falls .
Thor: "By my fathers beard, I be BLIND !!!"
Balder appears in the crowd, making his way to Thors side he touches his
friend on the back, looking as if he is helping him up.
Balder: "Not to worry my friend, all will be put aright."
As he speaks "Balders" features, as well as everyones around him begin to
flow like quicksilver until Thor unseeing and wounded is surrounded by
hundreds of the creatures.
Balder creature: "Put aright indeed."
Next : Will Thor be alive next month? Will we find out what happened to the
other Asgardians? And who is the evil man who just became the next Lotto
millionaire? As well as that mountain climber in Norway ?? Guess you'll just
have to come back in 43,200 minutes.
