Community Rules Of D/s Rooms
1. Respect and Honor A/all
one should treat A/all with the same manner of honor and respect that Y/you would want in return. Foul, obscene, dirty language although frequently used withen the room is discourage. If Y/you want to be respected please have the courtesy to respect O/others as well.
This includes trolling(see Rule 2), spamming (which is flooding the screen with repetative non-sense), use of caps (which can be taken as screaming), and use of underline or the dreaded color yellow that O/one needs to put shades on because of the brightness.
2. No Trolling
trolling is refered as O/one who is advertising for sex, looking for any type of cyber encounter, or just openly wants sex. There are many rooms that are devoted to just cybering and in those rooms are many whom share Y/your interest. However, it is offensive withen the rooms to "troll" for a one night kick. This includes openly asking for a Master, Mistress, sub, or slave. There are respectful ways that if Y/you are in search for one to do it..but openly saying it will not get Y/you anywhere. Remeber if you are in search for a Master Mistress sub or slave..flat out saying it will not help...talk in the room get to know people learn the ways..and they will se the true inner quality within..
3. No PM without permission
unless in another room or in pager it is in a sense rude to pm one if Y/you are in the same room as that person. There is an exception to this rule in Gor in which slaves are encourage to PM each other for help. Other then that, unless it was already agreed upon by individual person. It is rude and many find it offensive if Y/you PM without prior permission withen the open room. There are exceptions to this of course and that would be if you are not in the room..but please appologize to the person you pm...as well as if there is an emergency..or if the person gave you prior permission to PM ..then you may..but respect the rules of no PM without permission
4. A/all have the right to "Click"
"click" is another name for ignore. It is a very special right and should be used. No one has to stand for the torment of those who are rude, spamming, offensive, loud, trolling, or anyone who causes a general disturbance. It is a power that A/all has so use it. When a room click is called..there is usually a specific reason that it is called. No one is forcingg Y/you to ignore that person..although out of common respect and courtesy, if O/one calls a room click it would be honorable to click that individual.

The rooms is a place for those whom share the D/s, BDSM, GOr or other non-vanilla lifestyles, to be able to talk in a safe, peaceful, friendly enviroment. It is a family of those who can share the joys, the sorrows, ideas, feelings, beliefs and practices of this alternate life style.
Many of those who cause disturbances often complain about what gives one the right to make such rules. These are indeed community rules, many share in these ideals and rely on them..for without order there is indeed chaos. If one was indeed respectful these rules would not pose any problems.
