The creative genius
Moebius, or Jean Giraud, changed completely the world of science fiction comics. His imagination and geniality in books like Les Jardins dŽEdena or in the recreation of Little Nemo ( original by Windsor McCay ) led him to the top of European comics.
Jean Giraud started his activity in 1956, with Frank et Jérémie. After a period in America, he returned to France, where he created Lieutenant Blueberry, in collaboration with Jean-Michel Charlier. This very simple and apparently uninteresting collection was only the beginning.
His revolutionary movement began in 1973, a period characterised by his work with Alexandro Jodorowski. He also had some experiences in cinema, working in animated pictures like The Masters of Universe or Little Nemo.
Giraud, by the name of Moebius, revolutionised the universe of fictional comics, creating a special and magical atmosphere around his stories.
