Bianca LaNiege: Interdimensional pirate imprisoned in an alternate reality by the White Queen several years ago. She has somehow escaped and is back, with her power to transmute objects and nasty disposition!
Blurry: Former Blaterian with the power to turn intangible, like the rest of the crew Bianca transformed, he only wants to be his cockroach self again.
Brainy: Another Blaterian with superhuman intelligence.
Greasy: Another Blaterian with the power to exude a slippery substance that makes things very slick. Has his mind in his pants because he can't put his tongue in his mouth when Bianca's around.
Spikey: Another Blaterian turned into a dwarf by Bianca, Spikey has rock-hard skin and spiked on his body.
Stinky: Send this guy an airwick! He stinks to high heaven, and kinda looks like a Nazi soldier with a gas mask on. Not hard to spot - just follow the flies.
Warpy: Another Blaterian turned into a dwarf, warpy has the power to shut things (and others) into other dimensions.
Windy: The second being to use this name, windy has the power to create strong winds.
Betsy and Ronee: Two total babes who seem to like doing miniature golf. That in and of itself is a contradiction.

Cap (N1): They have been searching for Gaia for several days now.
Cap (N2): Several false echoes put up by Gaia herself have led them astray numerous times.
Cap (N3): But still, they keep going.
Cap (N4): Leading the team is the headmistress of the School for Gifted Youngsters, Emma Frost.
Cap (N5): With her is the rest of the team.
Banshee: This had better not be another one of yer wild goose chases, Emma.
Queen: It's hard to get a fix on her, Sean. She's leading me to dead end after dead end.
M: Then might I suggest we look where you're not getting her?

(Page 2, panel 1. Banshee looks down the throat of the caterpillar in which he's playing golf in the regular Gen X #42.)
Banshee: I donna see how she could be in here, Emma. It's too small for a person to be in here.
Jubilee: Another dead end.
Synch: We really should split into teams, that way we can cover more ground faster.

(Panel 2. We pull back to see the rest of the team looking around the place.)

Husk: Ev's right, Mr. Cassidy. We can handle things if we find her. And we'll be sure to let you know the minute we do.

(Panel 3. Go over to see Betsy and Ronee (from Generation X #42) looking at the members of Generation X.)

Betsy: There they are.
Ronee: Let's try to lure him away.

(Panel 4. Betsy and Ronee strike sexy, fashion model poses, smiling at Chamber.)

Ronee: Ack-ahem.

(Panel 5. We see the members of Generation X continue to look the place over.)

Banshee: Yer right, Ev. We'll spilt into two teams. Lads, come with me. Lassies, go wi' Emma.

(Panel 6. Generation X ignores Betsy and Ronee, who continue to strike fashion model poses.)

Betsy: I thought the males of this planet couldn't resist a beautiful female.

(Page 3, panel 1. We see the minigolf owner looking over Betsy and Ronee.)

Owner (whistles): Whee-Whew. Man, if only I was 10 years younger.
Betsy (not amused): Get lost, creep.

(Panel 2. Ronee tries to attract the attention of Chamber again.)

Ronee: ACK-AHEM!

(Panel 3. Synch notices Betsy and Ronee.)

Synch (to Ronee): You should do something about that cold, Miss.
Ronee (somewhat frustrated): Say, who's that cute hunk with you?

(Panel 4. Synch misses the point.)

Synch: Mr. Cassidy? Say, don't you think he's a bit old for you?
Betsy (Sighs): *SIGH* ... we mean the guy in the half-mask.

(Panel 5. Synch is confused.)

Synch: Chamber? You don't want him. He's no good for you.
Ronee: Let us decide what's good for us and bad for us.

(Page 4, panel 1. Go over to see the ladies about to leave the place.)

M: Say, looks like someone's out for the man you like, Paige.
Husk: Jono and I could have been good together, Monet ... but we chose not to pursue it.
Jubilee: Calm down, you two ... Jono and Ev can handle it.

(Panel 2. Betsy and Ronee approach Chamber.)

Betsy: So what's your name?
Psi balloon (pointing to Chamber): Chamber.

(Panel 3. Synch stands between Betsy and Ronee.)

Synch: Jono, get out of here, I'm picking up something from these two.
Cap (R): Curse him! He's going to ruin everything!

(Panel 4. Ronee bitch slaps Synch, knocking him back slightly.)

Ronee: How dare you keep me from him!

(Page 5, panel 1. Now all members of Generation X are around Betsy and Ronee.)

Husk: Hey! That was not a nice thing to do!
Betsy: Beat it, Hayseed! We're taking him now.

(Panel 2. Synch recovers.)
Synch: Show us whom you really are, shapeshifters!
Skin: �Qu�?

(Panel 3. Betsy and Ronee shapeshift into large monsters.)
Betsy: We have been hired to take the one known as Chamber away ... do not try to stop us.

(Panel 4. Jubilee fires energy plasmoids in the faces of the monsters.)

Jubilee: Suck energy plasmoids, whatever you are!

(Panel 5. Betsy and Ronee are blinded.)

Ronee: AH! I can't see!
Emma: And you won't be able to stand in a minute.

(Page 6, panel 1. the White Queen psi-blasts Betsy and Ronee.)

Cap (N1): Woe is unto those who cross Emma Frost.
Cap (N2): It takes a mere fraction of her power to bring these two down.

(Panel 2. Betsy and Ronee fall. Chief Authier's police car arrives.)

SFX: SKREE!!

(Panel 3. Chief Authier jumps out of the car, with his hand on his pistol.)

Authier: Everyone freeze!

(Panel 4. Go over to the minigolf building. We see the Blaterian battle cruiser sitting on the roof. The building is shaky, and shows it.)

Brainy: She doesn't seem to be noticing us, Bianca.

(Page 7, panel 1. Go inside to see Bianca in the captain's chair, with the others at their various stations.)

Bianca: Excellent. Soon, I will have my revenge.

(Panel 2. The dwarfs talk amongst themselves.)

Stinky: I can't take much more of blowhard LaNiege.
Warpy: I agree. The minute she has her defenses down, we strike.

(Panel 3. Go back to Generation X, Authier, and Betsy and Ronee. We see that Betsy and Ronee are two members of the shapeshifting race.)

Authier: Shapeshifters!
Synch: They tried to kidnap Jono here, officer.

(Panel 4. Authier pulls out his handcuffs.)

Authier: I've seen these two before. They're wanted for several crimes in Vermont and New Hampshire.
Authier (2): Thanks for bringing them in, everyone.
Queen: It was our pleasure, chief.

(Panel 5. Go over to see Psylocke fighting Anasazi the trickster.)

Cap (N1): Meanwhile on the psi plane,
Cap (N2): Elizabeth Braddock, a.k.a. Psylocke is fighting Anasazi the trickster.
Anasazi: Prove your mettle, Psylocke!

(Page 8, panel 1. Psylocke strikes Anasazi, only to find it was a trap.)

Cap (N1): He's not called the trickster for nothing.
Cap (N2): And Psylocke is finding that out first hand.
Psylocke (Shocked): NNNNOOOOOO!!!!!!

(Panel 2. We see EMP waves streaking across the universe.)

Cap (N1): They move at the speed of thought.
Cap (N2): EMP waves that will hurt any being in their path.

(Panel 3. Go back to Generation X, Chief Authier, and the shapeshifters. Suddenly, The White Queen, Chamber, M, and Chief Authier fall to the ground. Everyone else [except the unconscious shapeshifters] grab their heads.)

All but the Shapeshifters: UHN!!

(Panel 4. Banshee, Husk, Jubilee, Synch, and Skin recover.)

Jubilee: Like, what happened?
Banshee: I don't know lass ... but it seems t'have affected Emma something fierce!
Skin: Jono and Monet are down too.

(Panel 5. They see Chief Authier down.)

Husk: Whatever hit us put the whammy on Chief Authier also.
Synch: But what's the connection?

(Page 9, panel 1. Banshee realizes as the others recover.)

Banshee: Psi-powers.
Jubilee: But, Chief Authier isn't like, a telepath!
Authier: Actually, you're wrong, Ms. Lee.

(Panel 2. Husk helps Chief Authier stand, Banshee helps the White Queen stand, Jubilee helps Chamber stand, and Skin helps M stand. Banshee and Synch restrain the shapeshifters.)

Banshee: Donna ye be leavin' the party before it's over, lads.

(Panel 3. Authier faces Generation X.)

Authier: You must promise that you will never reveal this to anyone.

Banshee: Deal. We don't want some Bubba-like chief coming in and shutting down the Academy.

(Panel 4. Go back to inside the battle cruiser. We see Bianca LaNiege slumped over the controls of the ship.)

Spikey: Now's our chance, we've got to attack her!

Brainy: Wait a minute! If we off her, we'll be like this forever!

(Panel 5. Brainy thinks.)

Brainy: But I have an idea ...

(Page 10, panel 1. Go back to Generation X, and Chief Authier. We see Authier put the shapeshifters in his car.)

Synch: But, what happened?
Queen: I don't know, Ev ... but it was like a nuclear warhead going off in my head.

(Panel 2. Go over to the owner of the minigolf course. He walks out of the place.)

Owner (1): That's it, I'm out of here!
Owner (2): I left New York years ago to get away from you freaks!

(Panel 3. Suddenly, there's a crash from off panel.)

SFX: CRASH!!!
Jubilee: Like, what was that!?
Banshee: We're about t'find out, lass.

(Panel 4. Generation X and Chief Authier turn to the sound of the crash.)

Banshee: Stay here, lads.

(Page 11, panel 1. Everyone goes over to see Gaia (as she looked in Generation X #42 stepping out of her car.)

Synch: Who is that? She seems familiar ...

(Panel 2. Chief Authier approaches Gaia.)

Authier: Are you all right, miss?
Gaia: I will be ... something hit my head like a sledgehammer.

(Panel 3. Chief Authier looks Gaia over.)

Authier: Say, you're a bit young to be driving that vehicle, aren't you?
Gaia: Well, I, erm ...
Banshee: Just who are ye, lass?

(Panel 4. Gaia faces Banshee.)
Cap (G1): Uh-oh.
Cap (G2): I'm really in it now.
Gaia: Well, erm .. my name is Sandy.
Synch: I recognize that voice ... You're Gaia!
Jubilee: Gaia? Are you totally sure, Ev?

(Panel 5. Gaia tries to use her power on Synch.)

Gaia: I am not this Gaia person.
Synch: Yes you are! I'd recognize your voice anywhere!

(Page 12, panel 1. Aside, Banshee and the White Queen.)

Banshee: Emma, she tried to use psionic powers, and it didna work!
Queen: Sean, something's wrong. I'm not sensing anyone else's thoughts.

(Panel 2. Synch intervenes for Gaia.)

Synch: Chief Authier, Gaia here is a confused young woman. She needs someone to guide her in the proper direction. I think we should start taking care of her at the Academy.

(Panel 3. Authier talks on a walkie-talkie.)

Authier (1): Let's check out something first.
Authier (2): Velma, it's Mark. I need an ID on a vehicle, license RJO-231 Expires Nov. 2000.

(Panel 4. Gaia is distressed.)

Gaia: Something's wrong here! I'm concentrating on things, but it's not working!
Authier: Agreed. Something has happened here.

(Panel 5. The radio crackles.)

Velma (from the radio): Got that ID Mark. That plate hasn't been issued.
Authier: Thanks, Velma.

(Page 13, panel 1. Go back to Bianca LaNiege and the dwarfs. We see Warpy holding Bianca up.)

Cap (N1): And back with Bianca La Niege,
Cap (N2): Things are about to improve here.
Warpy: Let's go, gang.

(Panel 2. Warpy teleports everyone out. Panel 3. They teleport into an alternate reality, where we see things looking, smelling, and tasting bad.)

Warpy: Welcome to your new home, Bianca.

(Panel 4. Warpy throws Bianca on the sidewalk, where she wakes up.)

SFX: FLUMP!!
Bianca: UHN!

(Page 14, panel 1. Bianca stands.)

Bianca: Uhn ... where am I?
Warpy: Welcome to you new home, Bianca LaNiege. The food's terrible, the atmosphere is 9% Hydrogen Sulfide *, and the taxes are at 63%.
Cap (N): * This is what gives rotten eggs their bad smell.

(Panel 2. Bianca stands, recovering.)

Bianca: Get me back home immediately!! I won't stand for this at all!!
Spikey: Sorry, Bianca. We know of someone who can turn us back into our beautiful Blatervian bodies again. You cannot stop us!
(Panel 3. The dwarfs teleport out, with Bianca rushing to them.)

Bianca: Hey!! Get back here you twits!!
Voice (From behind Bianca): Woah ... check out the babe.

(Panel 4. Bianca turns to see several exceptionally ugly men, overweight, balding, and dressed in tacky clothing.)

Dude 1: Dude, I scoped her first!
Dude 2: Aw, we can share, can't we?
Bianca: I'm not about to go with you idiots!

(Page 15, panel 1. Bianca gestures to the men, but nothing happens.)

Bianca: My powers! they aren't working!
Dude 1: Hey, I got a power here for you to work on.

(Panel 2. The ugly men grab Bianca.)

Bianca: Hey! Get your meathooks off me!!! HELP!!!!!

(Panel 3. Go back to Authier, Generation X and Gaia. Authier faces Gaia.)

Authier: So how did you get a vehicle whose license and VIN number aren't in the records?

Gaia: Well, I kinda sorta pulled it out of an alternate reality ...

(Panel 4. The White Queen approaches Chief Authier.)

Queen: Chief, I know she's somewhat ... unusual, but I think it would be best for everyone involved that she be released to the Academy.

(Panel 5. Authier faces The White Queen.)

Authier: Well, seeing as how I really couldn't keep someone who can traverse realities in a prison cell for very long (and these shapeshifters for that matter,) I guess you're right, Ms. Frost. Take her.

(Page 16, panel 1. Chamber suddenly vanishes.)

Jubilee: OHMIGAWD!!! Jono just totally vanished on us!!

(Panel 2. They look at where Chamber was standing.)

Jubilee: It's totally freaky, like one moment he was here then the next, poof!
Banshee: Chamber is supposed t'be composed of psionic energy, right?

(Panel 3. The members of Generation X, Chief Authier and Gaia all face each other.)

All: Something must have happened to the psi-plane!

(Panel 4. A call comes in over Authier's radio.)

Velma (from the radio.): Mark, we have a domestic disturbance again. It's the Friendships on Elm.
Authier (into his radio): I'll be there in a sec, Velma.

(Panel 5. Authier hands Gaia over to Generation X.)

Authier: You got yourself a deal, Ms. Frost. I've got to stop those Friendships again. They're at each other's throats almost every night now.

(Page 17, panel 1. Authier gets into his car, and drives off.)

Jubilee: So like, what do we do?
Banshee: We go back t'the Academy, Jubes ... and see what we can do about the psi-plane.

(Panel 2. Go back to the dwarfs. We see them teleport into their cruiser.)

Windy: Good riddance. Now, where is this place you know of, Spikey?

(Panel 3. They get at their stations.)

Spikey: It's on Mizar XIV. Just follow the constellation that looks like a ladle.

(Panel 4. Suddenly Albert and Elsie-Dee's ship collides with the battle cruiser.)

SFX: KA-WHAM!!!

(Panel 5. Go back to Generation X. They are driving back to the Academy.)

Synch: If all the psionic energy is gone, what does that mean for Jono?
Emma: He's still alive, Ev. I just know.

(Page 18, panel 1. Gaia is scared.)

Gaia: I've never been without telepathic powers before ... I don't know how to react now!
Banshee: That's what we're here for, lassie. We'll help ye adjust t'yer new life.

(Panel 2. Go back to see Albert and Elsie-Dee teleport in near the minigolf course.)

Elsie-Dee: Golly, Albewt! That was close!
Albert: Somethin's Bzzt mighty fishy around here ... that cruiser just showed up out of nowhere!
(Panel 3. Elsie-Dee faces Albert.)
Elsie-Dee: Shouldn't we see if thewe are any suwvivows?
Albert: Nobody could have survived that, Bzzt Elsie-Dee.

(Page 19, panel 1. They continue to talk.)

Elsie-Dee: So what awe we gonna do fow twanspowtation now, Albewt?
Albert: We just gotta walk. I hope we can reach these X-people in time.

(Panel 2. Back at the Academy. We see Generation X and Gaia exit their SUV.)

Banshee: We should contact the other teams, see if they know more than we do.
Queen: Right.

(Panel 3. Biodome control area. We see Banshee, the White Queen, Synch, Gaia, and M there.)

Cap (N): And so ... Banshee: I've sent for the X-Men, maybe they know what's going on.

(Panel 4. We see Marrow on the screen.)

Marrow: What do you want!?
Banshee: This is Banshee, up at the School for Gifted Youngsters. We've got a problem here.

(Panel 5. Marrow grits her teeth at Banshee.)

Marrow: You think you got problems!? Half the team is missing here!

(Page 20, panel 1. Banshee looks over Marrow.)

Banshee: Lass, something has happened t'the psi plane. Our telepaths can't make their powers work, and Chamber has vanished all together!
Marrow: Look, we're in the middle of a crisis now, call back later.

(Panel 2. The screen goes blank.)

Queen: Well, that was very productive.
Banshee: Let's give Moira a call. Maybe she'll be more receptive to us.

(Panel 3. Banshee pushes some buttons.)

Queen: You realize that it's 2 a.m. in Scotland.
Banshee: This is an emergency, Emma.

(Panel 4. The screen reads: "Connecting ..."

(Page 21, panel 1. We see Moira MacTaggert there, wearing a nightrobe. She wears a mudpack on her face, and her hair is a mess.)

Moira: Grumph lefnms ruegm ...
Banshee: Moira love, It's Sean. We've gota crisis here. Something has happened t' the psi plane!

(Panel 2. Moira snaps awake.)

Moira: What? Something's wrong?
Banshee: I'm sorry t'wake ye up in the middle of the night, love. But something has happened to the psi plane, now our telepaths can't use their powers, and Chamber up and vanished all together!

(Panel 3. Moira shows concern.)

Moira: Chamber just vanished!? Sean, have ye called the X-Men about this?
Banshee: Aye, and they hung up on me too. I got that Marrow lass.

(Panel 4. Moira grits her teeth.)

Moira (1): I'll see what I can find out here.
Banshee: We'll do more research and let ye know if we find out anything.
Moira (2): All right, Sean. I miss ye.
Cap (M): As if I didna have enough trouble wi' the Legacy virus.

(Panel 5. Banshee stares deeply at Moira.)

Banshee: I miss ye too, love. Maybe someday, we can be t'gether.

(Page 22, panel 1. Go back to Bianca. We see her fighting off the ugly boys, and winning. She kicks one of them in the stomach.)

Cap (N1): Back with Bianca, Cap (N2): She finds that these boys are very out of shape.
SFX: WHUMP!
Dude 2: OOF!

(Panel 2. We see the dudes down, hurting.)

Bianca: That should teach you to mess with me!

(Panel 3. Bianca spots a dimensional portal.)
Bianca: A dimensional portal!*
[Writer's note:]*All right, so it's a convenient plot twist, but hey, it's more believable than the ones Hama put out, right?

(Panel 4. Bianca enters the portal.)

Bianca: Next stop, the Academy!

(Panel 5. We see the White Queen by herself, in a hallway.)

Cap (Q1): What a day.
Cap (Q2): And it's not even halfway over yet.

(Panel 6. Bianca LaNiege enters.)

Bianca: FROST!!
Queen (Shocked): Bianca LaNiege?
