Caption: This changed, however, when Deadpool met their deputy leader, Siryn.

Caption: Guided by his lust, Deadpool feel deeply in love with Siryn. She has, for her part, kept ducking the issue, realizing that Deadpool is more valuable as an ally than an enemy.

(Panel 3. A Sentinel attacks Siryn, firing a laser at her, but misses.)
Sentinel: Identified: Mutant known as Siryn. Mutant power: Sonic scream. Compensating for power.
(Panel 4. Siryn screams at the Sentinel, doing it no harm.)
Siryn: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Sentinel: Identified: Mutant codenamed Meltdown. Mutant power: explosive projectiles. Compensating for power.
(Page 2, panel 1. The Sentinels attack as the members of X-Force fight back. Domino fires a laser at them.)
Sentinel: Identified: Mutant codenamed Domino. Mutant power: ability to affect the laws of probability to cause her good luck. Compensating for power and weaponry.
(Panel 2. A Sentinel strikes Domino, sending her down.)
SFX: POW!!
Domino: UHN!!
(Panel 3. Cut over to Deadpool. He is watching television, and sees a reporter talking.)
Reporter: Again, the operatives of Operation: Zero Tolerance have set the goal of killing every mutant in the world.
Deadpool: Kill every mutant!? That mean's they're going to get rid of -
(Panel 4. Blind Alfred enters.)
Al: Wade, what's going on here?
(Page 4, panel 1. Deadpool stands.)
Deadpool: Holy Lassie! Siryn's in trouble! I've got to go help her!
Alfred: So you can get her to kiss you, hm? Believe me, she would have to be blinder than I am to want to do that.
(Panel 2. Deadpool faces Alfred.)
Deadpool (coldly): Don't patronize me, Alfred.
(Panel 3. We see Deadpool searching a trunk.)
Deadpool: It's got to be here somewhere . . .
(Panel 4. Deadpool holds up a small electronic device.)
Deadpool: Ah-ha! The DNA locator. Now to program Teresa's DNA into it. . .
(Panel 5. He pushes some buttons.)
SFX: Beep beep boop beep.
Deadpool: Here we go. . . my, that's a long way from here.
Alfred: Wade, don't you think you're going to be getting in over your head?
(Panel 6. Deadpool gets his armaments.)
Deadpool: Smoke me a ham I may have company over later.
(Page 5, panel 1. Deadpool teleports out.)
Alfred: I hope you die, jerk.
(Panel 2. Go back to the members of X-Force. We see Moonstar shoot an arrow at a Sentinel, hitting it.)
SFX: SKRUNCH!!
(Panel 3. We see Ekatarina enter, and strike Sunspot with a laser shot, hitting him.)
SFX: PANG!!
Sunspot: UHGN!!
(Panel 4. The members of X-Force gather, regrouping.)
Siryn: How is everyone?
Meltdown: Domino is unconscious. Sunspot's dazed. The rest seem all right for now.
(Panel 5. Focus on Siryn's face.)
Siryn: It's going t'take a miracle to save us now.
(Page 6, splash page. Deadpool makes a diving kick onto a Sentinel, knocking it down. Leave room for credits and epidsode title here.)
Deadpool (1): Ask and you shall receive, Siryn.
Deadpool (2): Don't mind me, I'm just here to help save you.
Deadpool (3, to the Sentinels): Say, what's your beef with them anyway?
Deadpool (4): Did you ask them out on a date and they turned you down?
Deadpool (5): Maybe you should have tried mouthwash.
Siryn: Deadpool!!
(Page 7, panel 1. Siryn and Moonstar rejoin the battle.)
Sentinel: Identified: Mutate known as Deadpool. Power: Artificial rapid healing factor induced. Compensating for mutant power.
Deadpool: Too bad that doesn't make you invulnerable to a gunshot.
(Panel 2. Deadpool fires a gun at one Sentinel while striking Ekatarina with a shrunken as Siryn kicks another Sentinel.)
Siryn (1): I donna know how yea found us,
Siryn (2): But I'm glad yea did.
SFX: POW! WHAM!! SKLURK!
(Panel 3. Siryn sonically screams at a Sentinel as Moonstar hits it from the opposite direction with an arrow.)
Siryn: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
SFX: SKRACK!!
(Panel 4. We see only Ekatarina and another Sentinel standing.)
Ekatarina: Pull back and regroup!
(Panel 5. Ekatarina and the other Sentinel fly off.)
Deadpool: Yea-Hah! We got you on the run now!
Moonstar: Pool, we've got hurt people here.
(Panel 6. Deadpool turns to see Domino, Meltdown, and Sunspot unconscious.)
Deadpool (1): Well, I'm sure a lot of shameless imaginations are running amok out there right now.
Deadpool (2): But we should help them out.
Siryn (coldly): Wade. . .
(Page 8, panel 1. Deadpool takes the hands of the fallen Domino and Sunspot.)
Deadpool (1): Grab a hold of me, and take Meltdown too.
Deadpool (2): I hope the teleporter can take the strain. . .
(Panel 2. They teleport out. Panel 3. We see them surrounded by rainbows.)
Siryn: It's beautiful. . .
Deadpool: Well, it's teleporting.
(Panel 4. Something knocks them off course. We see them spinning around.)
Siryn: Deadpool!! What's going on!?!?
Deadpool: I don't know!!!
(Panel 5. They land in a pile in the middle of Team X's infirmary.)
SFX: WHUMP!!
All conscious: UHN!!
(Panel 6. We see Siryn lying on top of Deadpool, both are dazed.)
Deadpool (1): Uhn. . . I felt the earth move too.
Deadpool (2): Can I be on top next time?
(Page 9, panel 1. Those who are conscious stand.)
Moonstar: Where are we?
Siryn: Appears t'be some kind of infirmary.
Deadpool: I think I recognize this place.
(Panel 2. They each pick up a down member. Deadpool picks up Sunspot, Siryn picks up Meltdown, and Moonstar picks up Domino.)
Siryn: Are they friends or foes?
Deadpool: Both.
(Panel 3. They set the injured on beds.)
Computer voice: Intruder alert! Intruder alert! Intruders in the infirmary!!
Moonstar: Well, they know we're here.
Deadpool: I wish I could remember who lived here.
(Panel 4. Enter Lotus, Sonnos, Starshot, Odora, and Bander. They wear their uniforms.)
Lotus: Who are you and what do you want here?
Bander: Wade?
Deadpool: George?
(Panel 5. Deadpool has hearts in his eyes.)
Deadpool (1): Tell me I'm dreaming.
Deadpool (2): Better yet, tell me I'm not dreaming.
Deadpool (3): Babe radar on overload!
Deadpool (4): Ahooooga!
Deadpool (5): With a big capital Ahoo.
Siryn (very coldly): Wade. . .
(Page 10, panel 1. The WC X-Men approach the others.)
Siryn: Yuir wearin' the X of the X-teams. . . but I donna recognize ye.
Lotus: There's a reason for that. We're not exactly the best of friends with the other teams, but we work for the same goals that the Professor established.
(Panel 2. Sonnos approaches the hurt.)
Sonnos: Que pasa?
Moonstar: They've been fighting Sentinels, and got hurt.
(Panel 3. Sonnos sonically heals the injured.)
SFX: HMMM. . . .
Siryn: What is tha' sound? I've nae heard it before.
(Panel 4. Sonnos faces Siryn.)
Sonnos: That is a sound which will heal injuries, se�orita.
Siryn: Interesting. . .
Lotus: So what brings you here, Pool? I specifically said you were never welcome here again.
(Panel 5. Deadpool faces Lotus.)
Deadpool: Lotus, we got knocked off course. I wanted to get to the Hellhouse and our Merc doctor, Kelrahn.
(Page 11, panel 1. Deadpool and Lotus continue to talk.)
Deadpool: Look, things are desperate in New York. Chances are the other X-teams are dead by now.
(Panel 2. Lotus is serious.)
Lotus: We returned here to regroup and plan our next move. The other mebers of Team X are missing, presumably captured and/or dead.
Odora: Donna say that. Mindpath canna be dead.
(Panel 3. Siryn faces Odora.)
Siryn: Did yea say Mindpath?
Odora: Aye - why, have yea met him before?
(Panel 4. Siryn grits her teeth.)
Siryn: If I find him alive - I'll kill the lad.
Lotus: Calm down. We've got more important things in front of us now.
(Panel 5. Domino awakens, nursing her head.)
Domino: Uhn. . . I feel like someone hit me in the head with a sledgehammer.
(Page 12, panel 1. The others surround Domino.)
Domino: How long have I been out?
Siryn: About 45 minutes. You suffered several broken bones, Dom.
(Panel 2. Domino faces everyone else.)
Domino (1): I don't feel like my bones are broken.
Domino (2): Where am I?
Lotus: Welcome to Santo Serra island, home of the Team X.
(Panel 3. Domino faces Lotus.)
Domino: Team X? There's no such thing.
Deadpool: If that's true, then we're nowhere.
(Panel 4. Domino sits up.)
Domino: What kind of trick is this, Pool?
Lotus: There's no trick here, Domino. We are a reserve team to be kept away from the other teams. . . except in emergencies like now.
(Panel 5. Siryn stands next to Domino.)
Siryn: They're alright, they healed you an' the others.
(Panel 6. Meltdown sits up.)
Meltdown: NNNOOOO!!!!
Lotus (rushes to her): Calm down now, you're safe.
(Page 13, panel 1. Meltdown jumps to her feet, ready to attack.)
Meltdown: What's going on here!?
Siryn: Calm down, Tab. You're safe here.
(Panel 2. Meltdown looks around.)
Meltdown: Where am I?
Lotus: This is the headquarters of the Team X. It's a long and complicated story.
(Panel 3. Meltdown spots Odora.)
Meltdown: Kirsten! You're responsible for this!
Odora: Tabitha, we've got more pressing problems here right now.
(Panel 4. Lotus, Moonstar and Siryn hold Meltdown back.)
Meltdown: I'll kill you!!
Siryn: Tab, calm down.
Domino: The world is swarming with Sentinels right now.
Deadpool: We're going to need all the allies we can get.
(Panel 5. Meltdown backs down.)
Meltdown: You're. . . you're right.
(Page 14, panel 1. Lotus is pragmatic.)
Lotus: This helps out in our problem of going to get our missing members, but actually getting them back is another problem all together.
Siryn: Do yea know where they are?
(Panel 2. Focus on Lotus' face.)
Lotus: They've been taken to an old mutant reeducation camp in the San Bernadino mountains. Starshot: This isna the same reeducation camp you were in, is it?
(Panel 3. Lotus faces Starshot.)
Lotus: It is. I have a limited knowledge of the place which will help out.
(Panel 4. Lotus faces the members of X-Force.)
Lotus: So are you with me? I'm going to need help rescuing my teammates.
Domino: X people stick together no matter what.
(Panel 5. They go out together. Sunspot is now up and about.)
Cap (N): Later. . .
Lotus: This is going to be very dangerous.
(Page 15, panel 1. Cut to an old, derelict mutant reeducation camp. The place is akin to a nazi concentration camp, with a barbed wire fence, guard posts, and barracks.)
Cap (N1): Welcome to hell in America.
Cap (N2): This place was once used to torture, kill, and otherwise hurt mutants.
Cap (N3): That was a long time ago.
Cap (N4): Now the place is being revamped, for the same sinister purpose. . .
(Panel 2. Go inside to see Walking Eagle chained to a wall. He strains against his shackles.)
Cap (N1): Meet one of the members of the Team X.
Cap (N2): They had a skirmish with the Sentinels earlier, resulting in the capture of 5 of their team members.
Cap (N3): He is one of them.
Cap (N4): He is code named Walking Eagle.
(Panel 3. We see Mr. Carp standing over Walking Eagle.)
Carp: Welcome, mutant.
Eagle: What have we done?
(Panel 4. Carp is confused.)
Carp: What do you mean by that?
Eagle: What have we done to merit such cruel treatment? You refuse to see the barrel of good apples for the few bad ones.
(Panel 5. Carp gets in Eagle's face.)
Carp: I don't have to tell you anything, mutant.
Eagle: Translation: No, you haven't done anything bad.
(Panel 6. Carp strikes Eagle in the face, causing Eagle to turn his head and blood to come out of Eagle's nose.)
SFX: WHAM!!
(Page 16, panel 1. Eagle turns back to Carp.)
Carp: Be glad that your execution is scheduled to be televised, mutant. . . otherwise, I'd have to kill you now.
Eagle: Why do you do what you do? The Grandfather has said for everyone to love each other. Love is where we are from, love is our true natures, and love is where we should be. It is the same for humans as mutants
(Panel 2. Carp gets in Eagle's face.)
Carp: Don't give me that, mutant! You know nothing of love! I know better!
Eagle: Do you really? So why are the people of the world turning to the Grandfather in his various forms?
(Panel 3. Carp slams Eagle against the wall.)
SFX: SLAM!!!
Carp: Don't give me a lecture about God, mutant! You are the most unholy of items ever created!
(Panel 4. Eagle slumps over, dazed but still conscious.)
Eagle: Look, torturing and killing me isn't going to solve anything. Mutants are the next step in the evolutionary chain - from homo sapiens to homo superior. It's just that now is the time of transition, and the have nots are jealous of the haves.
Carp: That does it, mutant!
(Panel 5. Carp duct tapes Eagle's mouth shut.)
Carp: I won't have your incessant lies and nonsense thrust upon me! Soon, you and your friends will die. . . and the world will be watching.
(Panel 6. Carp turns away, exiting.)
Eagle: Mraphin ry rumph mrumphin mrun rph rumph.*
Cap (N): *We think he said: "Taping my mouth won't change the truth."
(Page 17, panel 1. Cut back to the rest of the WC X-Men. We see Sonnos finish fixing their plane. The other WCX, X-Force, and Deadpool stand around.)
Cap (N): A little later. . .
Sonnos: All done, amigos. everyone hop in.
Siryn: That plane isna big enough f�r all of us.
(Panel 2. Lotus smiles.)
Lotus: Just step on in, Teresa.
(Panel 3. They step inside to see the place is larger on the inside than on the outside. They enter the cockpit.)
Siryn: How in the world. . .?
Lotus: I'm not quite sure myself. Simon's really the mechanic of this plane, he could explain it better than I could.
Sonnos: Amiga, we're ready to take off.
(Panel 4. Everyone sits in a seat.)
Lotus: Fasten your seatbelts. . . it's going to be a very bumpy ride.
(Panel 5. We see the WC X-plane take off from the hangar. Page 18, panel 1. We see the plane, invisible, entering over the reeducation camp.)
Cap (N1): It would have taken a normal airplane 15 minutes.
Cap (N2): But this plane made the trip in 2.
(Panel 2. Go inside to see everyone standing.)
Lotus: Long range teleporters are out. . . we're going to have to get in close to teleport in. . . Good luck everyone.
(Panel 3. Everyone teleports out. Panel 4. Go down to see them land in the middle of a group of Sentinels.)
Lotus: Uh-oh.
Sentinel (1): Attention: Mutants have infiltrated the compound.
Sentinel (2): Surrender or be destroyed.
(Panel 4. The X people and Deadpool attack.)
Lotus: Hit them hard before they can identify you and compensate for your powers!
(Panel 5. Lotus, in her spirit form, enters a Sentinel.)
Sentinel: Warning! Warning! Unauthorized program override!! Mmmmmuuuuusssssssttttt. . .. eeeeeennnnngggggaaaagggeeee ssssssaaaaaafffffeeeettttyyyyyy. . . .
(Panel 6. Deadpool slices the arm off of a Sentinel who was aiming at Domino.)
Deadpool (1): Don't hurt my friends.
Deadpool (2): Besides, this really isn't going to win you favor with the babes.
SFX: SKRENCH!!! CRACKLE!!
(Page 19, panel 1. Siryn sonically screams towards Deadpool, who dives out of the way. She hits the Sentinel behind him.)
Siryn: Wade!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
Deadpool: Woah.
(Panel 2. Bander strikes a Sentinel with an adamantium harpoon.)
Cap (N1): A long time ago, Bander had an accident that changed him forever.
Cap (N2): More on that if you demand it.
SFX: SKRENCH!! CRACKLE!!
Cap (N3): The harpoon he is using is made out of adamantium steel.
(Panel 3. Starshot fires her laser, hitting a Sentinel but the shot bounces off the Sentinel.)
Sentinel: Recognized: Mutant Starshot. Power: Superhuman accuracy. Compensating for mutant powers.
(Panel 4. The Sentinel kicks Starshot, knocking her down next to a piece of wood.)
SFX: POW!! Starshot: UHN!
(Panel 5. Starshot picks up the wood.)
Starshot: One thing yea didna count on. . . in me hands,
(Panel 6. Starshot jumps up, driving the wood into the Sentinel's head.)
Starshot: Even a blade of grass is deadly.
SFX: SKRENCH!!
(Page 20, panel 1. We see the wall of Sentinels break.)
Lotus: Keep fighting! I'm going for our friends.
(Panel 2. She shifts into her spirit form, going off.)
Cap (N): This is what she did to the Sentinel.
Sentinel: Protect all life forms.
(Panel 3. That Sentinel and another one annihilate each other, shooting lasers out of their hands.)
Cap (N): And one evil defeats another.
(Panel 4. Go over to Lotus. She enters the prison area, where Walking Eagle is held. We see Eagle has several bruises, a black eye, and several cuts.)
Cap (N): And later. . .
Lotus (near tears): David. . . what have they done to you?
Eagle (weakly): Lecita. . .
(Panel 5. Lotus sticks a spirit formed hand into the shackles, causing them to open.)
Lotus (worried): Can you make it out?
Eagle: I. . . I hope so.
SFX: Clink.
(Panel 6. Lotus helps Eagle stand.)
Lotus: It really hurts seeing you like this.
Eagle: I will be alright once I see Esteban.
(Page 21, panel 1. We see the WC X-Men gathering outside, along with X-Force.)
Lotus: Is everyone here?
Siryn: Where's Deadpool?
(Panel 2. Enter Deadpool, with about 6 Sentinels on his heels, firing.)
Deadpool: Incoming!!!
Sentinel: Surrender or be destroyed.
(Panel 3. The Sentinels attack those gathered.)
Sentinel: Unit 994-P6 requesting backup. Identified: 15 mutants.
(Panel 4. Lotus shifts into her spirit form.)
Lotus: Everyone, get going!
(Panel 5. The members of the WC X-Men and X-Force enter the plane. Lotus is seen half inside a sentinel.)
Sentinel: Warning! Warning! Unauthorized program override! Mmmmmuuuussssssttttt. . . eeeennnnggggaaaggggeee.
(Panel 6. Lotus leaves the Sentinel.)
Sentinel: Protect all life forms.
(Page 22, panel 1. We see all of the WC X-Men, X-Force, and Deadpool in the cockpit of their plane as they fly away. Lotus enters the room.)
Cap (N And after everyone has teleported back to the plane.
Lotus: Is everyone alright?
Starshot: Esteban's checking everyone over now.
(Panel 2. Go over to see Siryn sitting opposite Deadpool.)
Siryn: Wade, ye've saved us again.
Deadpool (1): Aw, it was nothing.
Deadpool (2): I'm sure you would have done the same thing for me.
Deadpool's thoughts: Guh.
(Panel 3. Siryn smiles.)
Siryn: Well, I was thinking about something. . .
Deadpool: Which is. . .?
(Panel 4. Siryn stares into his eyes.)
Siryn: We need ye, Wade. Join us.
Deadpool (crestfallen): Join you.
(Panel 5. Siryn tries desperately to convince him to join.)
Siryn: But think about it - ye'd have a nice, steady income, a place t'call home, a bunch of friends. . .
Deadpool: Well, I don't know. . . Won�t Ol� Nate get a wee bit upset?
(Page 23, panel 1. They continue to talk.)
Siryn (Thinks): Well. . . you'll be next t'me.
Deadpool: You talked me into it.
(Panel 2. Deadpool moves in close to Siryn.)
Deadpool: Maybe we should make this official.
Siryn: Later, Wade.
Deadpool's thoughts: %&*#.
(Panel 3. They come to a stop.)
Lotus (1): Alright, we're here.
Lotus (2): This is Xavier's mansion.
(Panel 4. The X-Force people stand.)
Domino: Time to get out.
(Panels 5&6. This is the same picture split in half. We see the Mansion as a smoking ruin, with the members of X-Force outside it.)
Siryn: What in the world!?
Cap (N1): Yet out of triumph, tragedy came.
Cap (N2): Although they saved the West Coast team,
Cap (N3): They ended up being homeless.
