The meftei is a long-kept secret of natives in the deepest jungles of Africa. Ranking up there in infamy with the legends of living dinosaurs (Mokele-Mbembe). This legend, however, proved to be unfortunate for most of the party involved in its discovery, as there is a curse levied upon anyone who handles it. Most all of the party died of mysterious causes on the way back to the small native village with their prize, their bodies riddled with festering boils. The Caretaker of the Armory, however, stayed utterly safe, as the curse did not extend to her. The curse? "Let no man touch this torch."
