This is just a short list of some bands I like. If you came here in search of punk rock like NoFx and Blink-182, or ska like Save Ferris and the Dance Hall Crashers, please don't bother. Just leave. For all of you Hawaiian t-shirt wearing jock boys and girls, you will not find what you are looking for on my page. Green Day did not begin the punk movement, nor did No Doubt invent ska. The bands listed above are not real punk or ska, but simply bastardized imitations of a good thing that has lost its meaning. They carry none of the meaning and passion behind ska, and especially punk. They don't help to continue the battle--they set it back and fight for the other side. If you affiliate yourself with the likes of Pennywise and the sort, please do not identify yourself or the music you listen to as punk. It is nothing but a disgrace and an extra stab into a dying scene...
