[Image] [Image] [Image] 'What Do You See?' a poem by: Tara W. POV: Scully, to Mulder note:) While rewatching the XF movie, I was inspired by the infamous hallway scene to write this poem. Specifically, this poem was inspired by the stare shared by M/S just before the 'almost' kiss. ------------------------ while the rest of me hides, my eyes cannot lie- seeking help for this burning vulnerability. please tell me what do you see, when our eyes meet- the meaning of life, the single syllable of your existence, or can you see that the reflection within me is only you? could it be true, that old cliche- the eyes, a window into the soul? what do you hear, when our eyes speak- a scream, a prayer, a silent plea to end the suffering of one broken, tattered heart? what do you feel, when the light in my eyes dims- the need to find in me the answer to your one question reality? tell me, why do you search these eyes, my eyes, to find a sign in the tears your words have released? knowing and wanting, fear and need, this, I know you see, but do my eyes betray? is this waterfall of love, what my tears have allowed you to see?
