Lying Here With You

Journeying through the depths of time
I search for a better place
But I am soon overcome by reality
And the truth remains
I am lying here with you

Chest to chest we lie
Our heart beating as one
Eyes meet that share a common passion
One only found in lovers' hearts

Your hand is part of mine
I feel its fiery palm gripping for an eternity
Rippling away we go
Ascending to the stars
Yet still lying here with you

But I must pull away, walk away
Leave your warm embrace
Is it fear?

Driving off into the unknown
I know not what is my own
A single tear drips down my cheek
Because deep inside my heart I know
I should be lying there with you
