Clone347@aol.com summary : Mulder's brush with another world has got him thinking. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 1939 darkstar post-triangle mulder point of view - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I awoke in yesterday, a world pregnant with violence waiting, ready, to give birth to doom. The devil was there, smoking his cancer and smiling, and there was still blood on his hands. (those who do not learn from history repeat it.) I scarcely believed it real, yet still I fought the demons for history was not set in stone. An angel was there, your ghost from your deep buried past, and still I could not watch you die. (and still i would have begged them to let you live.) In looking back, I wonder what life I would have lived then. Would I resist or choose to serve? Would I have loved you? Or would we be only strangers, never to meet but in dreams? (I believe we would have loved enough for the entire world.) I awoke in my own time, a world pregnant with violence, waiting, ready, to give birth to doom. Th devil still lurks, but my angel still hovers near me and she is the sum of my dreams. (and I will resist, never serve, and I will love her.) For those who stand up to history change it. ----------------------------------------- The X-Files Creative Mailing List Archived at http://www.xemplary.com To subscribe, go to http://www.onelist.com/subscribe/xfc-atxc To unsubscribe, write xfc-atxc-unsubscribe@onelist.com Check out the XFC Feedback list http://www.onelist.com/subscribe/xfc-fdbk ---------------------------------- Imported to ATXC courtesy of NewsGuy news service http://newsguy.com
