The Search for:
Bigfoot, Sasquatch, & the Yeti
Throughout
human history, around the world, there have been recorded sightings and
encounters with a large primate that resembles a man but is still wild.
It stands between 7-9 feet tall, with tracks 13-14 inches long and
7-8 inches wide. In China, India, Tibet
and other countries neighboring the Himaliayan Mountains they are called Yeti.
In North America the Natives referred to them as Sasquatch. They
have also been called the Abonimable Snowman, and Yowie in Austrailia.
Today we call the creature simply, Bigfoot. Bigfoot is believed
to be the "missing link" between man and ape. Whatever you choose to
call it, this creature has played an important role in human history, and
it may truly exist today. Do you believe in such a creature, have you

Sasquatch
Many Native
American cultures regarded Sasquatch as a kind of "brother" to man, some
believed that it was a being that could think like an animal and like a
man. Some Native American Elders believe that Sasquatch has some
psychic abilities that allow him to alude white man. They say that
those abilities are what keeps Sasquatch hidden from the world.
Not possible you say? Scientists say that man only uses
approximately 10% of the brain's total capacity, and many people
around the world believe in the power of psychics. What if
Sasquatch uses more that 10% of its brain, and has psychic powers that
we humans do not comprehend at this point in time. It could very
well be true.
Bigfoot
The
most famous sighting of a Bigfoot was the film that was shot in 1967,
called the Patterson-Gimlin footage. Skeptics believe that
this is just the footage of a man in a gorilla costume.
Believers are positive that this is actual footage of a
Bigfoot. Let me point out the details on both sides:
The footage is a fake
- Live footage of a Bigfoot, when something sounds too good to be
true it usually is
- The Bigfoot looks more like a man in a gorilla costume
- The footage could have easily been staged by actors at the time
The footage is genuine
- The muscles of the arms, legs, and back seem to move more
like they would with an actual animal, not a man in a costume
- In one scene of the footage the Bigfoot turns toward the camera,
and as it does it turns not only its head, as a man would, but
it turns its shoulders as well, like a gorilla would
- The Bigfoot left footprints that were deep in the mud, for a man
in a costume to leave the same type of prints he would have to
weigh apporximately 825 pounds
The
arguements go on and on for both sides of the issue. To find

search engine, the informaion is out there. All you have to
do is find it.
Yeti/Abonimable Snowman
The
Yeti (a.k.a. the Abominable Snowman) is a creature simmilar to the
Bigfoot/Sasquatch of North America, which lives in the Himalayian
Mountains, the highest mountains in the world. There have been
many sightings of such beings for thousands of years, but there
has not been one recorded sighting.
Yeti
are beleived to have the same ability of Bigfoot and Sasquatch to
become invisible at will. There is reported physical evidence
of Yeti in a Buddist Monastery in the Himalayan Mountains. This
evidence is a mummifeid hand, a Yeti hide made into a bag, and the
cap of a skull.
