Just a bit of insight on the band. We formed in 1995 from the remains of two bands, Deformed
Conscience and Hail of Rage. One seven-inch record has been released on Reiterate Records (with
mailorder made possible by Reiterate, and Consume, Be Silent,
Die, among other DIY shops across the world.), with
plans on a split seven-inch record, with the most dangerous band in Torrington...React. This will be
put out on Clean Plate Records, along with tracks of ours on a Will Dandy compilation. We will possibly
another release, as soon as Pete puts out a very delayed seven inch by SMOL on Reiterate Records.
TPB were supposed to release a split LP with Silenced A.K.A. Devastation before their
demise, but we have worse luck with releasing records than Diskonto. On the 20th of August,
TPB played a local gig with React, Boiling Man and Self-Extinction. The only reason I bring this up is to illustrate how little
we actually play gigs.
I can't rightly say wether we're a good band or not. More than one person has asked me if we actually try
to sound like a Japanese band. No. We play swedish-influenced (not discore) hardcore, also pulling in
references of american and british hardcore. Our cover songs are 'Serve and Protect' by Citizens
Arrest, 'War System' by the Shit Lickers, a very unconventional cover of 'Bullet' by the Misfits, and we
try to do 'A.A.' by Poison
Idea upon occasion, just to let you know where we come from. We play fast. Also, check out the
'new band'...React. It's another band that Pete and Fat Roach are in, also featuring Hoss of Deformed
Conscience, Bill from The Pist and Jen from Sasquatch. React is touring to Minneapolis
and back in late August, go see them.
