My Katitar series has many characters and faces. In order to
help you (and me) keep track of who is who here is a list of them
and their background. But be warned, if you haven't read all
the Kalatir stories you'll be ruining some great surprised for
yourself. You have been warned. If I've missed any or you have
any questions then please 
me.
ALEXANDER, IVAN: A geeky looking man who usually wears a standard Minsk uniform (gray jumpsuit, heavy black boots and headset with microphone) and has golden symbols of eyes and ears. Of Russian origin. He is a Sensor Officer of the Minsk. At first he disliked Felinions, he was placed on report by Codi but has since been taken off with no demotion. After the ordeal in Kalatir he has a new respect for them. He has channeled his hate into one of his deep passions, coming up with hair-brained conspiracies.
BAROLOS, CLIFF: American in origin. Commander of the Eagle Eye, Was killed when his ship was destroyed.
BELSHAR: Was a
male Felinion (cat-like creatures that have the frame of a human but are
covered with fur, have finger-like claws on both hands and feet, pointed ears
and whiskers with Red fur and black spots) Was a crew member aboard the
StealthFire. Was very attracted to his mate after Telsathum. Was killed when
the StealthFire was destroyed.
BROOFSKI: Is Russian in origin. Commander of the Battlecruiser Asia.
BURFORAICH, LYNDAL - Is an older gentleman who wears a standard Minsk uniform (gray jumpsuit, heavy black boots and headset with microphone) which has metal symbols of screwdrivers on his shoulders Is of Russian origin. Is a Maintenance Tech aboard the Minsk. Will do just about anything to get promoted.
CAARLOTTA – A female Felinion with orange fur and red spots. A deceitful like gypsy that went around capturing Felinions to feed to her Borsh. Only those that were lean and firm were fed to it. Her assistant was a slave by the name of Zez who she controlled by colored stones in her collar (by pressing them could cause him great pain). She was killed by her own pet when she captured Wactorii and was going to feed her to it.
CHREST, TAHLIA – She is of Australian origin. She is young, with long flowing blonde hair and is rather short. She looks quite beautiful. She is commander of the Ozzie and usually wears her UCF uniform. She owns a lot of stolen artifacts from Australia’s past which she tries to pass off as family heirlooms.
DEKOLIVICH, ANDROPVE – Is an older man with blonde hair and a gray beard, he wears a UCF uniform with small metal shuttle symbols on his shoulders. Is a slacker that tries to smooze or blackmail his employers so he doesn’t have to do any real work. Is currently a shuttle pilot for Select People.
DELRAYY, TED: Is a middle aged man, tall and skinny. He usually wears a leather uniform with large red skulls and cross bones on the chest, he has little gold Scepters on his shoulders. He is leader of the Democratic Legion. He always has a pair of Guardians with him.
DOCQTERERE, EULCIWZ: A short Male Felinion with black stripes, brown fur and graying fur around his face. Father to Wactorii Tqwzxcvbyyaao and mate to Ulzaopi Tqwzxcvbyyaao. At first he disliked Nikolai Solace because he was helping Wactorii to break the law and supply the refugee camps on Felinia, he went as far to try and kill him. But when he realized he was not the initiator he learned to respect him. Can not stand up to Ulzaopi.
EHTAIXCK,
ARTRIFWLKZ - A Male Felinion who has orange fur with yellow spots. He usually
wears a vest which he has been cut out of a standard Minsk uniform which has
metal symbols of half of wrenches. Is Assistant Maintenance Tech aboard the Minsk. Engaged in a Kalatir ritual with Codi but it was interrupted. Enjoys being around
humans.
GARTH THE TRADER: He is a male Prevaricate (a dog-like creature which has the frame of a human but is covered with black fur of that of a dog, finger-like claws on his hands, toe-like claws on his feet, a long bushy tail, a head of a husky and red eyes) He usually wears leather head and wrists bands, a leather belt with several pouches and a tattered cloth cape. He handles all the Prevaricate trading with Felinia. He allowed himself to be captured by the Minsk in a failed attempt to try and divert them from the Prevaricates real mission to destroy Pluto. Last heard from locked away on Mars.
ITO, IWO: Was a beautiful tall female. Usually wore a standard uniform with golden crown insignias on her shoulders. She was of oriental origin. Was the Commander of the Japan. Was very sure of herself. Was killed when her ship was destroyed at the battle of Pluto.
JENKINS, DEBRA: Young female in her early twenties. Cadet co-pilot for the UCF Refuge Hauler Stench, stationed at the Uranus Repair facility. Usually wears her UCF uniform with garbage car symbols on her shoulders. Got into the UCF when her parents bribed her way in. She works with Wes Plato.
JOYCE, CORRINE: Is a tall gorgeous brunette. She usually wears a leather uniform with large red skulls and cross bones on the chest (and two sizes too small), she has little gold half crowns on his shoulders. She is English in origin. Exec Officer of the Democratic Revenge. Despises Sierras because of his superstition.
KARROIQ, MIWEA: Was an older Felinion male with brown fur and purple spots. All that he wears are wide wrist and ankle bands, he also has a headband. They are made of metal and have heliographic etched into them. The headband also has a large disk set into it made of gold, it has the image of a paw with extended claws slicing through the air. In his hand he has a well worn wooden staff, it too has heliographic on it. There are several parts of his body that has scars and some parts where the fur has fallen out and refuses to grow back. The most notable is the left side of his which has been damaged severally, over his eve is an eye patch made of animal skin. His left leg is also damaged to the extent where he can’t put any weight on it but he can still move it around, he uses his cane for this. He took Codi under his wing after her mother was killed in the Prevaricate revolt (her father was already dead) and treated her like her own daughter After she left Felina some of his old enemies tried to kill him, this resulted in his shuttle crashing and that is how he became crippled. Not wanting to be remembered in pity he asked that the Court of Chaw announce that he was killed in the crash. They agreed because they didn’t was the memory of their greatest hero be tarnished. So they snuck him off the planet with a few selected warriors. They set up home hiding in the Prebara Ice Field until the court could deal with his enemies. During the Prevaricate Revolt he was a common foot soldier. He rallied all the Felinions together and became their leader (the court hide in their castle where they were safe) He sent the word out that if they were to survive it would be working together. They pooled their resources and started playing our revenge. He would turn out to be the savior to Felinions. He organized them into an army by testing and studying each one of them and depending on your specialties that is what you become in the resistance. Young and old, male and female. It did not matter. They couldn’t take the Prevaricates head on, they out numbered them and had better weapons but thanks to Miwea’s planning they managed to turn the tables. They conducted hit and run raids. They didn’t attack everything that moved but things that were advantageous to them. Supply depots, armories, food stations. Eventually they evened the odds. But their leader didn’t stop there. Those technically inclined were put to the task of bettering their weapons, their armor, their overall situation. Only because of this we were able to win in the end. He died when he stayed behind on the Klatera to guide an Ultra-Light strike on a destroyer that was about to destroy the Minsk which was trapped in an Energy Sink.
KEITH, KEN: He is about 33, red hair and has a goatee. He wears a standard UCF uniform with gold symbols of a staff with a snake wrapped around it on his shoulders. He got assigned aboard the Minsk when Command Control was short of Medical Officers, those that they had weren’t too keen on serving on a ship commanded by a Felinion. He happened to be unassigned and didn’t have a problem with Felinions so they sent him.
KUMBELU: Was a
male Felinion (cat-like creatures that have the frame of a human but are
covered with fur, have finger-like claws on both hands and feet, pointed ears
and whiskers with blue fur and brown spots) Was a pilot aboard the StealthFire.
Died when it was destroyed.
LUKJXRT,
NYLGDRE: A female Felinion with red fur and yellow stripes. Usually wears a
gold head and wrist bands with hieroglyphic symbols on them and a matching
belt. Has a solid gold amulet with hieroglyphic symbols and a golden cape. She
is High Priestess of Kazan (Felinion God)
MAZEPPA, JOSEPH: He is a middle aged man. Usually wears a standard uniform with gold Scepter symbols on the shoulders. Is of Russian origin and the Admiral of UCF. Is very unorganized. Hates Command Control because he thinks they have a lack of intelligence. Hates Felinions even more because he feels that they are worthless.
MELBOURNE: A black male Earth cat with short hair. Is a Saturn Domestic Short Hair with black fur. Mascot to the Minsk and Pamirs' pet. Doesn't like Felinions. Was found on a disabled the grain carrier Melbourne which was attack by the Legion. Nerza gas escaped from the drive system and flooded the ship. Melbourne survived but everyone else on aboard was killed.
MEEPPSS – A male Felinion with blue fur with red stripes. This is not his real name since he helps run a refugee camp for those affected by The Wane. He was next in line to be Kootawa until Wactorii recruited him to help in the camp. He snuck out of the Castle Chaw without his personal guards on what appeared to be a harmless ride in the forest. But when his mount returned on its own they feared the worst. They search for him but he was never found because he was hiding in the one place they would never come to, in the camp. So they figured the Footpads got him. Since no ransom was ever offered he was considered dead and forgotten. This was a trick on his part. With he declared dead he could freely help in the camp. He is in love with Wactorii but being she is not only because since she is a princess she can never be with him.
MEZIMALLO,
EZZLAAATY: A female Felinion with Green fur with white strips. Usually wears a
gold wrist bands with hieroglyphic symbols on them and a matching belt. She
holds a scepter made of large bones which has a Felinion head carved into each,
a small knife hangs from her belt and are wearing a large animal skull as a crown.
She also has a large solid gold amulet with hieroglyphic symbols and a golden
cape. She is the crown Queen of the Felinion domain and close friend to
Tqwzxcvbyyaao. Usually the more calmer of the two leaders.
MICLENHO, BORIS: Is of Russian origin. Usually wears a complete Minsk uniform (gray jumpsuit, heavy black boots and headset with microphone) with metal symbols of wrenches on his shoulders. Is a young adult human male. Was Assistant Maintenance Tech but was promoted to Lead Maintenance Tech of the Minsk when Tskhinvali was killed.
MILIKOR: He is a male Felinion with brown fur and green spots, he is much older than the others. He is usually seen in his colorful ceremonial robe. He is an ambassador from Felina whom the Democratic Legion ask to be a moderator for a peace conference between them and the United Communist Force. But it was really a trap to capture Solace and his commander and ambush the Minsk. But the commander senses the trap and took precautions. Not only did they escape but the Legion took heavy loses and were humiliated.
MINSKIAN ONE/CAD-LED: Is Russian in Origin. He is a male Minskian pilot. Frustrated because he seem to always survive battles but the rest of his pilots do not.
MYSTROSKI, GOLDA: Is Russian in origin. Lovely blonde Comm Officer assigned to the Minsk. She spent a KiloYerk aboard the Felinu, a probe ship with an all Felinion crew. Because of this she learned Felice and their lifestyle, she has become quite fond of them. Joseph sent her in hopes she would bring back some dirt on them but instead she became friends, she reported nothing bad about them. As punishment he assigned her to the Minsk since he hates Felinions and the ship’s commander is one. Pretends to not like Ivan but really is quite found of him.
NEGUQBEWO,
BANORJJJP KECLAR: Was a female Felinion (cat-like creature that have the frame
of a human but are covered with fur, have finger-like claws on both hands and
feet, pointed ears and whiskers with brown fur with red irregular spots.
Usually wore a Minsk Uniform (gray jumpsuit, heavy black boots and a
specialized headset with microphones) and has golden symbols of computers on
her shoulders. Was a Comm Officer aboard the Minsk. Codiozianquy was her best
friend (Kalatir) who she knew for 5 KiloYerks. Was hot headed. Knew how to fly
a shuttle. Was killed by a Catherine on the Minsk when she was trying to kill
Codiozianquy, she shot the shot that was meant for the commander. Served on
Purrrate I and the Scout ship Dridebor with Codiozianquy (meet her there) She
was buried at space by Codiozianquy Was stationed on Teltar with Codi.
NICHOLAS: Was a Comm Officer of the Minsk prior to Banorjjjp. Died of a brain embolism on duty.
PAGODA, LENA: A fairly attractive woman with red hair. She wears a standard uniform (gray jumpsuit, heavy black boots and a headset with microphones) and has metal symbols of gold symbols of wrenches on her shoulders. Is of Russian Origin. She is the Engineer Officer of the Minsk. She join the UCF during the war in hopes of either being killed in battle so she wouldn’t have to witness the suffering that was happening on Earth (raping of the planet and watching her friends die) or be stationed on a planet more suitable for life. 91% of her body has been replaced with metal. Some of her muscles have also been replaced by mechanical means. To prevent rejection everything is lined with insulation. This is because when she served on the Kersh before coming to the Minsk the ship was captured and the survivors were tortured out of revenge, she was the only one that survived. When the Legion thought a UCF ship was approaching they dumped the prisoners into a shuttle so they could destroy the evidence. It turned out to be a ship of an unknown and powerful race, they destroyed the Legion and saved her. They preformed the transplants to save her. When she returned Abraham wanted to dissect her but Command Control decided since this was from a superior race it was best to leave well enough alone. Everyone who knew about this was sworn to secrecy. She is the girlfriend of Nikolai Solace.
PAMIRS, YURRI: Was a tall, handsome man. He wears the standard Minsk uniform (gray jumpsuit, heavy black boots and a headset with microphone) and has metal symbols of a staff with a snake wrapped around a staff. Was of Russian origin. Was Lead Medic Tech aboard the Minsk. Did care for the ship's mascot. Was a spy for the Prevaricates. Was killed by Banorjjjp to silence him.
PLATO, WES: Young American male in his early twenties. Cadet co-pilot for the UCF Hauler Barge Stench, stationed at the Uranus Repair facility. Usually wears his UCF uniform with garbage car symbols on her shoulders. Got into the UCF when her parents bribed his way in. He works with Debra Jenkins.
PTTCP (Physician
To The Crowned Princess): A short frail male Felinion who has graying fur in
his face. The rest of his fur is tan with purple stripes. He usually carries a
large suitcase which is covered by some sort of alien fur. He has a hobby of
humanoid anatomy. Believes in using herbs and animals for healing instead of
drugs.
SEAN THE VANGUARD: Was a Prevaricate male (a dog-like creature which has the frame of a human but is covered with black fur of that of a dog, finger-like claws on his hands, toe-like claws on his feet, a long bushy tail, a head of a husky and red eyes) He usually wears leather head and wrists bands, a leather belt with several pouches and a tattered cloth cape. Was leader of the Prevaricates. Was killed when his ship (the Extricate) was destroyed by the Minsk.
SIERRAS, BILL: Is short, has black hair, a short beard and is very muscular. He wears a leather uniform with large red skulls and cross bones on the chest, he has little gold crowns on his shoulders. He is French in origin. He is Commander of the Democratic Revenge. He believes that having relations before battle is good luck.
SMITH, DERRICK: Is Captain of the Stryson Mineral Company Floureen Carrier San Diego. An elderly male human. His ship was saved twice by the Minsk.
SOLACE, ABRAHAM: Father of Nikolai Solace. Brilliant Primary Scientist on Command Control. Has helped numerous times saving the human race and bettering it but when it comes to his family he is a disgrace. He would rather play with experiments than be with his wife or son. He blames the Felinions for his failed marriage because he was busy studying their technology. His father was against him joining the UCF. He is middle-aged and usually dresses in very casual civilian clothes with a hand held computer clipped to his belt.
SOLACE, JACLYN: Mother of Nikolai Solace. Select Woman of Command Control. Divorced from Abraham Solace. Left him early on in the marriage because he was more interested in a career than a family. She did not change her last name in spite of her ex-husband, so all knew he had failed. She raised their son on her own. Later she fell moved in with Joseph Mazeppa to advance her career, he allowed this for the same reason. They use each more than love one another.
SOLACE, NIKOLAI: Is about 33 years old, tall, skinny, a plain looking man with black hair. He wears the standard Minsk uniform (gray jumpsuit, heavy black boots and headset with microphone) and has half golden crown symbols on his shoulders. Is of Russian origin and the Exec Officer aboard the Minsk. Was a self appointed Commander for a few DecaYerks after Trotsky was killed in action. Lover of Catherine Welchof (they worked two KiloYerks side by side before they went out on their first date) He is a full fledged Felinion and honorary member of the Court of Chaw as decreed by the king and queen. He considers Tqwzxcvbyyaao as a friend but nothing more. Doesn't believe in chance or luck (but God instead). Son of Abraham and Jaclyn Solace. Catherine talked him into joining the UCF by telling him he could make a difference and change the world. His father was against it. Because he left his robe at a refugee camp Tqwzxcvbyyaao was implicated in helping them which was against the law. Because of this she was sentenced to Prsdlik, she has never forgiven him for this.
TARRY, GEORGE: Is a middle aged Afro-American. Commander of the Battlecruiser North America. His subrank is General.
TEWB, POYNHIDF:
A male Felinion with Blue fur and brown stripes. Usually wears a gold head and
wrist bands with hieroglyphic symbols on them and a matching belt. Has a solid
gold amulet with hieroglyphic symbols and a golden cape. High Priest of Kazan
(Felinion God) Does not trust Nikolai Solace.
THOMPSON, SHIRLEY: Was a muscular blonde human female who wore a ratty old Democratic Defense Force uniform. Captain of the StealthFire. Was killed when her ship was destroyed.
TISHI: A female with short blonde hair and is middle aged. Wears a Standard Minsk uniform (gray jumpsuit, heavy black boots and headset with microphone) and has small crucifix symbols on his shoulders. Is of Russian origin. She is the pastor aboard he Minsk. She has a husband.
TODAY, STEVEN: Is Lance-Corporal in the Marines aboard the Minsk. Wears a Standard Minsk uniform (gray jumpsuit, heavy black boots and headset with microphone) and has small metal symbol of laser rifles on each shoulder but the man has a three quarter metal crown as well. Of American Origin. Is very official.
TOSI: Exec Officer aboard the Strong-Back. A female Prevaricate (a dog-like creature which has the frame of a human but is covered with black fur of that of a dog, finger-like claws on his hands, toe-like claws on his feet, a long bushy tail, a head of a husky and red eyes) He usually wears leather head and wrists bands, a leather belt with several pouches. Escaped it's destruction in an escape pod.
TOTEIE,
ERICTROKYZ: Is a Male Felinion with black fur with green spots. Wears a head
band with some strange hieroglyphic symbols on it. Is Vanguard of the Felinian
Response Fleet.
TQWZXCVBYYAAO, ULZAOPI: Strong willed female Felinion (cat-like creature that have the frame of a human but are covered with fur, have finger-like claws on both hands and feet, pointed ears and whiskers with bright blue fur and yellow stripes, has graying in her face) Mother to Wactorii Tqwzxcvbyyaao. Wishes to do whatever makes her daughter happy.
TQWZXCVBYYAAO, WACTORII QEZ: A female Felinion (cat-like creature that have the
frame of a human but are covered with fur, have finger-like claws on both hands
and feet, pointed ears and whiskers with Gray fur and pink stripes. She wears
gold head and wrist bands with hieroglyphic symbols on them and a matching
belt. She also has a large solid gold amulet with hieroglyphic symbols and a
golden cape. She is the crowned princess of the Felinion Domain. Ulzaopi
Tqwzxcvbyyaao is her mother and Eulciwz Docqterere is her father. She is in love with Meeppss but being she is not his
princess she can never be with him. She use to consider Nikolai Solace a friend
but because of him she was exposed to helping the refugee camps so she was
sentenced to Prsdlik, she has hated him every since.
TROTSKY: Was Commander of the Minsk (for ten KiloYerks) prior to Solace and
Codiozianquy. Was killed in action by a Prevaricate spy (Pamirs) aboard his
ship because they wanted Solace to become Commander. Was on a secret mission
for Command Control to find out who the spy was.
TSKHINVALI, DMITRI: Was a large, has dark skin and red hair. Wears a complete Minsk uniform (gray jumpsuit, heavy black boots and headset with microphone) with metal symbols of wrenches on his shoulders. He was Lead Maintenance Tech aboard the Minsk. Was killed by Pamirs to make an example.
UIEOALLPH,
XJKLU: A male Felinion (cat-like creature that have the frame of a human but
are covered with fur, have finger-like claws on both hands and feet, pointed
ears and whiskers with orange fur with blue stripes) Usually wears a gold wrist
bands with hieroglyphic symbols on them and a matching belt. He holds a scepter
made of large bones which has a Felinion head carved into each, a small knife
hangs from her belt and are wearing a large animal skull as a crown. He also
has a large solid gold amulet with hieroglyphic symbols and a golden cape. Is
Crown king of the Felinion domain. Has a hot temper.
VEZ, NAALERAANAA: A young female Felinion (cat-like creature that have the frame of a human but are covered with fur, have finger-like claws on both hands and feet, pointed ears and whiskers) with orange fur and blue spots. Was the Boswwa to Miwea but was a traitor, she didn’t want to help the humans fight the Legion but instead wanted to ally with them out of greed. She tried to destroy the Minsk by sabotaging its Power Planet but was foiled by Lena. When confronted with this she tried to kill Nikolai, Codi and even Miwea but was killed by him.
VLADIVOSTOK, VLADIMIR: Is a fairly handsome man. Wears a standard Minsk uniform (gray jumpsuit, heavy black boots and headset with microphone) and has small gold compass symbols on his shoulders. Is of Russian origin. Replaced Welchof as Gator on the Minsk.
WELCHOF, CATHERINE: Is about 33 years old, tall, attractive and is a blonde woman. Wear the standard Minsk uniform (gray jumpsuit, heavy black boots and headset with microphone) and has small gold compass symbols on her shoulders. Is of Russian origin. Was an appointed Exec Officer aboard the Minsk by Solace after Trotsky died. Was then reduced to Gator when Codiozianquy took command. Lover of Nikolai Solace (they worked two KiloYerks side by side before they went out on their first date) Dislikes Felinions. Knows how to fly a shuttle. Worked with Pamirs to spy for the Prevaricates, gathered freighter locations. Was killed by Marines on the Minsk when she was going to kill Codiozianquy so Nikolai could be the commander. She did this out of pure love. She is interned at the Mars City Memorial Yard, her casket ID is CW-4382912-UCF.
YUWQANZ, KOMVCA:
A male Felinion (cat-like creature that have the frame of a human but are
covered with fur, have finger-like claws on both hands and feet, pointed ears
and whiskers with white fur and orange spots. Wearing just gold head and wrist
bands with hieroglyphic symbols on them and a matching belt and holster with a
laser pistol in it. Hanging from other side of his belt is a short decorative
dagger. Is very large and muscular. Is a Mut. Minister of Court Security. Hates
humans.
ZEZ – A male Felinion that is very fit and trim with brown fur and white spots. He was the slave of Caarlotta who controlled with a collar he was forced to wear (she could cause him pain remotely). After Wactorii and Nikolai killed his mistress they let him go out of self pity.
ZQIUVXBIEA, CODIOZIANQUY MARATI: Is a female Felinion (cat-like creature that have the frame of a human but are covered with fur, have finger-like claws on both hands and feet, pointed ears and whiskers with blonde fur with black stripes and about 41 KiloYerks (at the beginning of KALATIR) Usually wore a Minsk Uniform (gray jumpsuit and a specialized headset with microphones) and has golden symbols of crowns on her shoulders. Does not like wearing UCF boots (uncomfortable). Is the Commander of the Minsk. Prior post was Commander of Purrrate I (Felinion Frigate) Has been with UCF for 4 KiloYerks (as of the beginning of KALATIR) Usually cool and level headed. Banorjjjp is her best friend who she has know for 5 KiloYerks. Her parents were killed in the Prevaricate war. Served on the Scout ship Dridebor with Banorjjjp (meet her there) She was on the Court of Chaw and was in line to be the next Queen but she instead left the court and Felinia, she is hated by almost every Felinion because of this. Was station on Teltar with Ban. Her father, before the revolt, knew a lot about medicine and tending to the injured so he became a field medic. Her mother had always been the great protector, so she became a warrior. Her father was killed in the Revolt with the Prevaricates. He was a medic that was caught by the enemy, tortured and killed. This is why she hates Prevaricates so much. Her mother dies it the last days of the war diving on a bomb meant for Miwea, she died as a heroine. From that point on he was considered her father.
ZQIUVXBIEA, XIILTRIIANA: Older sister of Codiozianquy. She
has pink fur with gray stripes, she looks similar to her but older. She dresses
in simple animal hide wrist and headband, around her neck is a necklace made of
animal teeth. In the past her sister has always bested her but in their last
Encounter Xiiltriiama beat her up and knocked her out, this was by order of the
Court of Chaw to teach her a lesson for betraying them. Her father,
before the revolt, knew a lot about
medicine and tending to the injured so he became a field medic. Her mother had
always been the great protector, so she became a warrior. Her father was killed
in the Revolt with the Prevaricates. He was a medic that was caught by the
enemy, tortured and killed. Her mother dies it the last days of the war diving
on a bomb meant for Miwea, she died as a heroine. From that point on he was
considered her father.
