Opening Address of Hurgh DeS' sutai-Solazarn:
Greetings fellow SuvwI'pu, and weapon lovers from across the region.
Stored within this building behind me are some of the weapons and archives
from the Klingon
Imperial Weapons Guild. There are several of these "caches"
throughout the Klingon Empire, each storing the accumulated knowledge and
works of the individual artisans of the Guild. I am very proud to
open to you now Dark Arm's Forge, the first Guild archive of this type
to be publicly opened outside the borders of the Klingon Empire.
This will give other races and cultures a glimpse of our race and our culture
through the beauty and craftsmanship of our weapons. After all, much
of Klingon history is painted in blood, and maybe we should take a look
at the artistry of the brush itself from time to time...
I
being a proud apprentice of the Guild will throw whatever insights in that
I can, but I have yet to experience the joys of making a blade. So
the texts you will be reading inside will primarily be that of Guild Master
K'daq, and Master K'beck. I do enjoy collecting weapons, and as time
and duty permits I will be making some of my personal collection available
for display. I would like to take a second to thank each and every
member of the Klingon Imperial Weapons Guild. Remember that ALL
OF YOU from the most inexperienced apprentice all the
way through the one and only Guild master K'Daq are the Guild. YOU
ARE THE GUILD AND THE GUILD IS YOU.
