Well, for those of you who cared enough to hit the link on the previous page, you're going to get to find out a little bit about the poor fool who runs this site, namely me.
My name is John Pederson, the same name you should be finding at the bottom of each and every one of the pages that actually live on this site. In case you really want to know, I'm an 18-year-old American, Christian white heterosexual male (that may have been more than you really wanted to know). Besides maintaining The Shapeshifter's Lair, one of a myriad of web sites you can find that are more or less dedicated to the role-playing game Shadowrun, I really do have a life outside of my computer. I won't say that it's a particularly grand, exciting, extravagant, or active one. The truth is, I don't get out much:) However, I am (or I used to be) rather active in Troop 461 of the Lincoln Heritage Council of the BSA. I have held the rank of Eagle Scout for a little bit over three years. I recently graduated from Highview Baptist School, a private Christian school, as the Salutatorian of my class and as Magna Cum Laude. As of the end of August, I'm attending Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, in Terre Haute, Indiana. I've been maintaining this place for probably something on the order of a year and six months or so. Aside from that I spend an inordinate amount of my free time playing Doom or Quake on the family computer or checking my e-mail, which usually runs around 50-100 messages a day because of the ShadowRN mailing list. I post occasionally to Usenet, don't hang out in IRC, but I suppose that it's safer that way:) I have an extreme distaste for Affirmative Action, pornography (I refuse to pollute my mind with that drek, I don't need any help messing myself up), and people who generally can't stop talking:) Having almost certainly told you more than enough to find out who I am and where I live, I'll shut up now.
