Lord Jupiter

Jupiter started out as an mortal, just like you and I. He was a strong half-ogre in the noble Knights Guild, soon becoming their Guild Lieutenant. With so few people in the lands at that time, life was hard for the fighting people of Terris. There were many monsters to keep at bay with little resources to protect the cities. Indeed, when someone died back then, they lost all their experience and whole lot more gold than nowadays.�Jupiter became strong during these times and seemed to thrive on adversity.

As Jupiter grew older, and became more involved, he took to following Tazman, Immortal of Luck (yes, Tazman was the Immortal of luck back then). He later joined the Warriors guild, helping to make it the great guild you see today. All seemed well for quiet some time...until that infamous night...

You see, Khan, a mortal at the time, had built a magical item that would open a gate into the heavens, granting immortality to anyone who stepped through. Hearing of Khan's discovery, Kestanan stole the item to use for himself. Mortified, Khan sought the aid of Jupiter to recover the item and thwart any attempt of Kestanan's use of it for himself. Jupiter, even then a strong believer in Justice, managed to catch up to the thief, where a fierce battle erupted. Realizing the battle was lost, Kestanan fatally stabbed Jupiter from behind. With Jupiter dying, Kestanan scrambled through the great portal, into the heavens. Deori, witnessing the events, sighed with annoyance and cast his eyes down to where Jupiter had fallen. He took Jupiter into his arms and flung him through the portal, thus saving his life, and granting Jupiter immortality.

Having an injustice done to him, Jupiter vowed to take up the cause of Justice. He became the keeper of the laws of Terris and the protector of innocents...thus our great temple was born.
