Hanging Inn Magic Crystal Guide.

In the Hanging Inn, there is a somewhat secret magical workshop. In this workshop, there is a clear blue crystal in a dented brass setting. This crystal is able to determine the magical properties of an item, much like a bards lore-singing or the spell Elemental Detection can. By holding the item in your left hand and nothing in the right then touching the crystal, an array of lights and sounds will be set off depending on the attributes of the item. The crystal indicates different things about different items. I have here tables of what the crystal's lights and sounds mean and what they indicate about a specific object.

Note * If a shield or armor has this ability it is no benefit, you do not get reduced crits or damage from shields, and holy armor works the same for all, the only thing that these do is make the item Non mage enchantable, requiring you to have a merchant do the work for you instead.
