She shakes her head, repeating herself, "I told the healer it was a bad idea, but you know how those healers get." Broccal has arrived. Jorai confirms no one is there to listen and agrees vigorously, "I DO know, you have to beat the...Broc!" Opa says "...and you know, Broccal, those baskets on your desk are a good idea. Myself, I just have piles." Weavers> Opa says, "Weavermeet! Come on down! :)" Broccal laughs at Opa. "They do come in handy!" Turning at the voice of his beloved, Broc's face brightens like sunrise over HRW. "Jorai!" Kylee wanders in from the inner courtyard. Opa looks around as Jorai calls out Broccal's name, and chuckles, stepping back a bit so she's not impeding their sight of each other. Varina nods vigourously to Jorai, continuing, "And THEN he..." but she breaks off, as Jorai's attention is gone the moment Broccal walks in. Kylee hurries in and walks quietly over to the apprentice table. Jorai goes for the Apprentice Master at a dead run. Opa grins over at Varina and makes her way over to her usual table, nodding good evening to Kylee as she passes the apprentice tables. Broccal holds out his arms and sets his feet so he doesn't fall over. He swings her up and nuzzles her neck. "Good to see you." Kylee watches Jorai and Broccal with a grin. Jorai beams and hugs tightly, a giggle burbling out of her. "I miss you." Varina grins, walking over to sit by Opa. "Young love," she says, shaking her head. Then adds, "Rain's out walking the beach with her daddy so neither I nor Shemma need to be distracted with her tonight." Opa sits down at the Craftmaster's Table. Varina sits down at the Craftmaster's Table. Broccal sits down at the Craftmaster's Table. Kylee looks around and sits down after Craftmaster Opa does. Broccal pulls Jorai along to their seats. Kylee sits down at one of the Apprentice Tables. Opa hides a smile. "What, no young voice raised in excitement? No custards on the floor?" Jorai sits down at the Craftmaster's Table. Cued by the sound of dozens of chairs shuffling into their places, the kitchen staff enter the Great Hall, their trays loaded with bowls of steaming mushroom soup. Varina doesn't manage to hide her rueful smile. "I know, I know, I'm sure you'll miss it, Opa, but then, she'll be tossing custard on the floor tomorrow." Dathon steps in through the archway from the teaching wing. Broccal sniffs the air. "Fish tonight?" Jorai admires the gleam on the table and mutters to Broc, "Not nearly as scarred as the lower ranks." Dathon wanders into the hall and stops short when he sees the...array of Weavercraft luminaries. Kylee wiggles around on the bench, swinging her feet a little. Broccal chuckles at Jorai. "Yeah, I bet there's never been any gravy spilled up here." Dathon stammers: "Evening Master Broccal...evening Master Varina...evenine Master Jorai..." Opa grins, and pats Varina's hand as she ribs her good-naturedly. "My mother always said, children should have an established routine." Jorai giggles again, then squints, and smiles to the lad, "Evening." Dathon slaps his forehead..."...evening Master Opa..." Dathon attempts to make his way to the apprentices' table as inconspicuously as possible. Opa nods to the young man. "Good evening to you." Varina turns over her soulder to point out to Broccal, "Just custard," before she turns back just in time to hear Opa's comment, chuckling good-naturedly. "At least she's consistent, yes." She nods in greeting as the apprentice files past and names the masters. Broccal grins at Dathon and nods back. Turning back to Jorai, "How long do you plan to stay at the master beast hall, hun?" Dathon takes a seat at the apprentices' table, breathing an exaggerated sigh of relief at Kylee. Jorai sighs and shrugs, draping her napkin over her lap, "I don't really know, it's getting harder to divide my attention, not easier. I keep hoping..." Weavers> Jorai says, "If I suddenly go idle forever, it's a baby thang ;)" Opa addresses the hall at large. "Welcome everyone, it's good to see you all here tonight." She peers over at the other masters' tables. "Although I don't see Fiona yet...which is probably a good indication that we're not having fish..." Kylee grins at Dathon. Broccal nods. "Hoping? " He tries hard to keep too much of his own hope from coming into his voice. Weavers> Varina says, "Ditto that for me, Jorai." Dathon grins back, then gets a sour look on his face. "That vandal really went overboard last night." Jorai turns at Opa's voice, leaning into Broccal and taking hold of his hand until the food shows up. Kylee leans forward with a frown, trying to keep her voice down. "What happened now?" Opa passes Varina a bowl of soup as the kitchen staff comes around to their table with the trays. Dathon scowls and replies: "Not much, except that my attempt to guard the dye vats not only didn't work... Kylee scowls and waits for the rest of his sentence. Dathon continues: "...but I got green dye splashed all over my clothes. Took me a long time to scrub it out. AND the vandal still went ahead with his... machinations." Kylee shakes her head in exasperation. "I still don't see how whoever it is manages to get away with all of this." Kylee cocks her head, "And how did you get green dye on you anyway?" Varina takes her bowl, smiling to herself at the uncommon freedom of not having a small child helping her to spill it on herself. Then passes the tray on to Broccal and Jorai. Broccal squeezes Jorai's hand before taking the tray from Varina. He laddles himself some, then hands it to Jorai. Dathon growls: "What else? He splashed it on me to forestall any attempt at pursuit." Kylee nods politely as the staff sets some soup down on the apprentice tables. She ladles some out for herself. She peers at Dathon, "Did you get a look at him? And are you sure it was a him?" Dathon grins, in a slightly better humour. "Unfortunately not. And no, I'm not exactly sure it was a him. Then again, we can't really call it an it..." Opa pours herself a tumbler of juice as she waits for her soup to cool some more. "I'm pleased to announce, while you're starting your meals, some new additions to our Hall...Master Smith Allory has begun journeying our area, and we also have a new apprentice, Jecharra." Kylee mutters something about oh yes we can as she spoon some soup into her mouth. Broccal leans toward the CM, "And Lark, too, Master Opa." Jorai takes the last bowl before handing the tray back to the server, "Thank you." Broccal sits back to look at his soup, quite happy that he hasn't lost any apprentices yet. Dathon takes a spoonful of the soup, pours it straight down his throat and stifles a yip as the lining of his throat gets burnt off. :) Jorai frowns slightly, "Lark? I don't think I've met..her?" Kylee looks around briefly at the mention of the other apprentices. She turns back to Dathon. "What exactly did 'it' do now anyway?" She hides a smile, "Besides get green dye on you that is." Opa nods at the prompting. "Oh yes, and Lark. Although I think she had joined us when last we had a big dinner." Broccal frowns at being shot down. "really? mmm. I need to check on her, then." Weavers> Broccal blames it on the jelly beans Dathon replies with a frown "Oh, the usual stuff." He sighs. "I'm almost used to it by now." Opa looks equally confused, and grins. "Alright, so our minds are going up here. Welcome to Allory, Jecharra and Lark." Weavers> Opa grinz. Maarle steps in through the archway from the teaching wing. Maarle walks in and plants himself quietly onto a bench. Jorai dunks her bread into her soup a moment, then taking a quick bite before it falls into the bowl. Varina leans over to murmer to Opa, pointing out, "I do believe Master Ros' miner husband Thakar has joined us," And she glances around, "Though I don't see him tonight. Does that mean she's staying for a while?" Kylee chokes slightly and sets her spoon down when Dathon says this. She gives him a strange look, then turns to nod a greeting at Maarle. Broccal's eyes follow the figure of his sister's so. He remarkably keeps from frowning tonight. Maarle nods to all and begins making quietly polite conversation. Dathon looks over at Maarle and grins, then realises the significance of his comment and tries not to slap himself. Social Disaster #3462 and counting. Opa snaps her fingers. "Yes...that's true, too. And I do believe she's staying for a while." She looks somewhat plaintively at her tablemates. "Shells, is there anyone else new that I've forgotten?" Broccal considers his soup. He shakes his head. "I've forgotten them too, then." Jorai glances at her betrothed in surprise, then bites her lips to keep from giggling at him. Varina grins at Broccal. "You must not have walked into that miner in the wee hours of the morning trying to sneak a snack from the kitchen. You'd not forget him, then." Dathon stares into his soup, occasionally taking a sip. Kylee shakes her head, grabs a roll from the breadbasket and continues eating her soup. Opa brightens. "Well, I know I shan't forget who's been promoted recently." She continues, with a slight pause to look at Varina with wide eyes at her remark. "Mammaw was promoted to full apprentice, *and*..." Her glance slides over to land pointedly on Jorai. Broccal blinks at Varina. "Miner?" Dathon starts to crumble the crust of his roll into the soup, then sops up the excess with the remainder of it. Jorai feels eyes on her and freezes, her hunk of bread still half in her mouth. Kylee takes a sip from her glass of redfruit juice, keeping half an eye on the Master's table while she's at it. Maarle pokes at his food. Varina shakes her head at Broccal, but doesn't elaborate, since Opa is continuing her speech. Broccal sits back so he can gaze at Jorai. Jorai carefully finishes taking the bite and begins a slow chew, glancing from one Master to the next. Opa smiles. "Jorai is our new Mastertailor." Broccal applauds softly. "Congratulations, MasterTailor Jorai." Kylee's eyes widen slightly then she turns back to her dinner with a pleased smile. Jorai blushes and finally swallows to offer embarrased thanks. Varina turns to Jorai with her own grin for her former mentee. Opa grins. "Yes, so Tailors beware, you have a new face at your helm." Dathon decides, in the light of the momentous pronouncements, that it might be better to keep one ear on the Masters' table rather than one eye. Jorai gets a momentary evil gleam in her eye. Or does she. Hard to tell a that distance. Opa rounds up 'announcement mode,' saying "And, in other subcraft news, Sr. Apprentice Tarma has joined the Weaving subcraft." Maarle pokes at his food some more, rather uninterested. He does smile briefly for Joraie's appointment. Just as the last slurp of soup dies away into the echoes of the large chamber, the kitchen staff re-enter with more steaming trays. This time, they're loaded with spiral pasta and vegetables. Opa looks over as the main course starts getting served, and smiles. "Ah, I think that means it's time for us to move onto your item of business, Broccal?" Broccal wipes his mouth with a napkin and nods to Opa. Dathon now has both ears rather than one on the Masters' table. Broccal stands at his place and looks at the assembled apprentices. "It's come to my attention that a certain junior apprentice has been spending a lot of time at the looms, improving this apprentice's skills. Opa returns to eating her dinner, watching Broccal with interest. Broccal clears his throat as he goes on. "Now as you may know, I don't care for junior apprentices to spend so much time on the looms without supervision. Therefore, Master Opa has approved that this junior be promoted to full apprentice. Broccal fixes Dathon with a piercing gaze. "So, what would you like, Dathon? The traditional tossing of the knot, or would you like to come fetch it? Kylee sneaks a look at Dathon and hides a smile. Dathon looks up suddenly, goes rather red in the face and seems tongue-tied. Broccal looks at Opa to answer for the apprentice. Opa looks at Dathon judiciously as she finishes swallowing the food in her mouth. "Well...since it seems he's a full apprentice now, I think he'd probably better get used to making some decisions for himself, hm, Dathon?" Dathon grins sheepishly. "Well, I'd rather not risk it landing in the soup..." He rises from his seat. Weavers> Dathon says, "The food, rather. Oops." Weavers> Opa grins. There could be leftover soup at the bottom of the bowl... Dathon walks tentatively at first to the masters' table. Weavers> Jorai says, "I gotta idle :(" Broccal takes the knot out of his vest pocket and holds it out towards the apprentice, waiting for him almost patiently. Dathon holds out both hands a little nervously. Some of the older masters favour Dathon with their trademark sour glances as Dathon passes their table. Broccal retakes his seat, squeezing Jorai's hand as he returns to his dinner. Dathon accepts the knot and returns to the apprentic Weavers> Dathon says, "...es' table. Oops again. :)" To make up for the sourness of their colleagues, some of the younger masters give Dathon grins as he returns to his seat. Varina's expression falls on the side of the younger masters, giving the apprentice a smile, though a shallow one. Kylee smiles at Dathon. She winks, "Now you're -really- going to be working hard around here." Maarle sips his drink and smiles at Dathon. "Congrats," he whispers. "Take my advice, run." He winks. Dathon grins at Kylee: "Well, I suppose so..." Kylee stifles a laugh at Maarle's comment, shaking her head and staring down at her food. Broccal waits for Dathon to retake his seat, then he stands again. Glaring around the Hall, Broc waits for silence. Kylee looks over at the Master's table. Her grin slowly fades as she notices Master Broccal's expression. Dathon watches Master Broccal soberly. Jorai has to cover her mouth with her napkin to keep from giggling at Broccal's expression. Broccal sweeps the Hall with his gaze. "It has come to my attention that someone has been vandalizing the Hall. This person has caused our groundskeeper, Flail, work which takes away from his normal duties." Opa doesn't have a particularly pleased look on her face, either. Broccal says "What's more, I have a personal stake in this vandalism, seeing as how the vandal thinks it's funny to say things about me and woodland creatures. Obviously, this is the work of a sick mind." Jorai gaps, then mutters something about always being the last to know... Opa's face becomes a rather interesting shade of mauve at the mention of the woodland creatures. This last bit is obviously news to her. Maarle looks more than slightly shocked. Kylee's face starts turning very red. Varina just closes her eyes, shaking her head slightly to herself. Broccal says "I have a list of suspects, but I will keep that to myself at the moment. However, I will say, we know the culprit is an apprentice, and therefore my responsibility." Dathon looks around at the other apprentices. Broccal leans forward on the table, hands curled into fists. He says slowly, drawing out each word for optimum effect, "I take my responsiblities VERY seriously. " Weavers> Maarle grumbles. I hafta go. Weavers> Broccal says, "Bye, mrl" Weavers> Maarle just sits here 'attentively'. Sorry. Parents. Weavers> Jorai is gonna try getting kid to bed again *sigh* Kylee looks over at Dathon and then glances around at everyone else. Broccal stands straight, drawing himself up to his full height. "I will find the culprit, and you -will- be punished." With that, Broc sits, hands still fisted. Opa lets the silence continue uncomfortable for a while, to impress upon the apprentices how serious this is, until several of the younger ones are squirming and fidgeting uncomfortably. Finally, she stands and nods her thanks to Broccal. "I believe the Apprentice Master has stated things quite clearly, and we can go on. Is there anyone who would like to share any of their current projects with the rest of us?" Opa er, uncomfortabl*y*. Adverbs modify verbs, yes. *sigh* Kylee clears her throat and raises a hesitant hand, "I do, Master Opa." Opa turns her head toward Kylee with a more positive expression. "Yes, Kylee? Please go ahead." Kylee stands up, grabbing a tapestry from beside her. "Actually, this is Sr. Apprentice Tarma's work. She asked me to show it to all of you just before she had to go run that errand for Master Broccal." Kylee dropped Tarma's Tapestry. Opa sits again, nodding encouragingly as the kitchen staff start clearing up the dishes from the tables. This large tapestry was clearly woven by someone with a sense of humor. It is done in wool, with special highlights here and there embroidered on top of the design. The subject of the tapestry is a standard kitchen, which is full of naughty firelizards. Sitting on a table is a gold firelizard, who is somehow holding a cookie behind her back in an obvious effort to hide it. There is a small bite out of the cookie, and the queen's expression seems to clearly say, "Who, me?" On the nearby chair, two blues argue over a loaf of bread, tugging it back and forth. Perched on the countertop, three greens are in various stages of being coated with the syrup that they have tipped over, as they lap it up....off of the counter, and each other. A bronze is perched on the oven mantle, contentedly chewing on a small roast that he has carried up there. On the floor a brown plays in a container of flour, which he has somehow upended. Another blue has knocked a pot of something off of the stove, and only his hindquarters are visible as he digs into the pot's contents. A tiny green laps up spilled wine on the floor, quite obviously somewhat tipsy. There are tiny floured footprints, sprays of flour, bits of bread, spilled cookies, wine, and various other spilled foods and liquids everywhere....on the floor, the furniture, the walls, even the ceiling! Only the gold appears to have noticed the observer yet, as though that person had just entered the kitchen. The tapestry is very well made, and is somewhat heavy. A small, embroidered tag on the back of the piece, at the bottom, reads..."Made by Sr. Apprentice Tarma." Broccal looks out at Kylee, then smiles as he remembers the tapestry. It's a nice one. Kylee unrolls the tapestry with special care. Dathon acquires a slightly twisted grin as he remembers the content of the tapestry. Opa bursts out laughing as the tapestry is unrolled and its image becomes apparent. "Oh...my. I do hope this is an imaginary scene?" Kylee turns slightly pink and looks over at Master Broccal guiltily. Then she starts smiling a little, "Yes ma'am. It is for the most part." Broccal says "As far as I know, only the flit in the flour was real. Ask Master Ros sometime." Varina chuckles. "I wouldn't advise showing that to -any- of the cooks. They'd ban every firelizard in the Hall." Kylee ducks her head not meeting anyone else's eyes after Master Broccal's remark. Opa chuckles, raising her eyebrows. "Well, I suppose compared to all this, one flit in the flour doesn't seem so bad. You're right though, Varina." Dathon imagines the sort of tragedy that might happen if a flit got into the dough and the cooks didn't notice. Kylee raises her head briefly, making sure everyone's been able to get a good look at Tarma's work. Opa laughs again. "Well, it's very good, Kylee, please tell Tarma that. Is she planning on keeping it for herself, do you know?" Kylee stops thoughtfully in the middle of rolling the tapestry up. "I really don't know, ma'am. But I did tell her I was sure she could find a buyer for it easily." Kylee quips daringly, "Or maybe she could give it to Master Ros as a welcoming present." Broccal snorts at sneaks a glance at the Kitchen, wondering if the Ros heard that. As the kitchen staff start bringing in the bowls of redfruit for dessert, Opa busies herself with her own serving to avoid a sudden grin. Kylee looks down as blandly as she can and picks the tapestry up, all nicely rolled now. Tarma's Tapestry has left. Weavers> Opa says, "Is there anyone else with show and tells to show and tell? Or can I go into the OOC portion?" Kylee sits back down and digs into her redfruit with relish. Weavers> Fiona waves, late as usual. :} Weavers> Broccal says, "We didn't have fish!" Weavers> Kylee has no objections. Weavers> Fiona says, "Figures. :)" Weavers> Dathon doesn't really mind, though his carnivorous sensibilities have been disordered by the menu. :) Weavers> Kylee eeps and moves farther away from Dathon, eyeing him warily. Weavers> Opa is sure the roast herdbeast will come up on the menu another day. :) Opa muahahahahaha, it's time for....THE SQUEAKY GAVEL!!!! Opa says "Alright, the first OOC item of business is the update on how the "whittling" of the Weavercraft is coming. I will get into this just as soon as I page someone back who's asking me for help. Hold on. :)" Broccal eyes the squeky gavel. He leans over to Varina. "I dare you to hide it." Opa grins evilly at Broccal. She can't. It's on me at all times. Okay! Whittling update. Opa says "First of all, I am thrilled to announce that we are now only around 5.6K over quota." Weavers> Vyren waves Weavers> Kylee waves at Vyren. Heya. :) Opa says "However, we still have a ways to go. Not only do I want to get rid of that 5.6K, I want to get rid of lots more. Why? Because there are a lot of projects that have had to be put on hold because we can't implement them until we have the memory space to do so. For instance, the +comment command, or the +lhelp that I want to put up about things like section assignments, and RP theme of the fortnight, and RPed classes, etc. etc." Weavers> Opa wavies! Dathon raises his hand. "Begging pardon..." Opa says "Ayup, Dathon?" Dathon says "How much exactly IS the quota?" Opa says "We've got 200K for all our rooms, exits and objects." Weavers> Vyren says, "OPA! :)" Weavers> Vyren hugs Kylee, too :) Dathon mulls over it and figures 5.6K is pretty small compared to 200K./ Opa grins. True. Broccal says "Were you thinking of getting rid of some rooms?" Opa blinks. Do you know, that possibility hadn't even *occurred* to me. No, actually, rooms take up a relatively small amount of space compared to other things. Weavers> Fiona says, "I could take back ownership of those toy parents, if that would help?" Dathon wonders whether we could arrange a convenient "accident" for Johann. He's not making himself very useful. :) Jorai returns to LOL Runner accident? Varina laughs! Opa says "The thing that really takes up the most amount of room, aside from the object that stores our +lhelp, is the descer. I've +mailed all 33 people who own an objected parented to our descer, asking how they'd feel if we scrapped it. Most of the responses have been either 'Well, I hardly use it, so go ahead,' or 'Well, I like it but I understand if you need to kill it,' but I have gotten some impassioned pleas along the lines of 'No, I love my descer, please don't take it away!' So it'd be nice if we could keep it. I will be talking to the wizzes to see if there's any possibility that someone else (like, oh, say, a wizard) can take it on." Opa laughs! Weavers> Opa may talk to you about that Fiona, thank you for offering. It'd be nice, though, not to solve this problem by shoveling it off onto our Weavers. Opa er, own an object parented to our descer, not an objected. Good grief. Varina says "we'll all just make alts, and chown everthing we're overquota on. that would really please the wizzes, yep." Broccal notes that Soucon once had a global descer.... Opa laughs. Oh yes, the wizards would love us for that one. Kylee nods, "Most of the mushes I've been on have global descers as well." Opa nods at Broccal. I live in hope. Broccal won't say where he thought she lived... Opa says "Originally when the new DB was created, I asked a wizard (ie Cleona :) whether there could be any willingness for the wizcorps to take on our descer. The answer at that time was no because of the new philosphy of lean-and-mean and encouraging RP rather than huge descs, but who knows, there may now be a willingness, especially since descers are still popular and it's more efficient to have one big master descer that everyone parents objects to rather than each person coding their own descer." Opa says "So that's one thing being looked at as a solution. Also, I've been steadily moving audition pieces from the display in the craft museum to our website, with the permissions of the authors of the audition pieces, of course. That's freed up over 10K for us." Opa says "We're also going to start implementing a new way of spreading gossip anonymously so that we can get rid of Johann's gossip code and free up more space. The way it will work is, anyone wishing gossip to be spread anonymously +mails Penelope. Broccal has volunteered to log in as Penelope and post any gossip she gets via +mail to the bulletin board." Opa says "I'll be posting an announcement about this to the bulletin board very shortly." Opa says "However, there is one major way we can cut down on space, and I'd like to ask if anyone has problems with it." Opa says "Many rooms in our hall have +views on them - views of tapestries and rugs and such (mostly done by Kahori, actually). These take up a lot of room. What I'd like to know (and this is just a 'straw poll,' really, since there aren't too many people here) is whether people are very attached to these +views, and whether there would be big objections if they went." Tarma heads in through the archway from the teaching wing. Opa waves, hi Tarma! Tarma waves hello! Kylee wavies and grins at Tarma. "Hey you." Jorai has to admit she doesn't remember if she's ever looked at them.. Dathon grins to Tarma. "You've just acquired a whole bunch of fans." Tarma says "Am I too late for the meeting?" Broccal mrms over the request. "I'd kinda like to see them stay, since they show off the craft..." Opa says "Nope, we're still going, OOC section right now." Kylee thinks a minute, "How about keeping the ones in the main hall, etc. and maybe getting rid of some of the ones in less visited areas?" Opa wrinkles her nose and nods at Broccal. I know. Opa says "That's certainly an option, Kylee." Varina says "I think we could cut down on the tapestries. I'd like to see Kahori's collection immortalized on the web, but we don't have to keep them all here. Though Broccal has a good point." Tarma says "My SCA meeting is over and SO sddenly decided to read instead. I made part of a Weavermeet. Yeeha!" Tarma says "Fans?" Opa would *love* to immortalise Kahori's collection on the web. I just wish I could get in touch with her to ask her if that was okay. :( Opa yay! Dathon grins and nods at the tapestry in Kylee's hand. Kylee looks at Tarma and blinkies. "The tapestry I -had- in my hands that is. I did my little bit to save space on the db." :) Broccal grins at Kylee. "Opa? I'm sure she wouldn't mind, since you'll say who created them." Varina sighs. We haven't heard from her in over a year. I doubt we're going to get ahold of her. She didn't seem too proprietary about her tapestries. But then, it just never occured to me we'd have to ask her permission. Kylee noddles in agreement with Broccal, "Doubt she'd mind as long as you said who made them, Opa." :) Tarma says "Everybody liked it then? I still have the original." Opa nods and frets. I just feel guilty making her stuff available for global consumption without asking her about it first. Sorry, my job as a webmaster for the government's intranet and being constantly worried about violating copyright is coming into play here. :) I suppose it could be argued that since she agreed to have them on +view in public rooms here, it's Weavercraft property, blah blah blah. Opa thought it was hilarious, Tarma. :) Kylee noddles, "Yup. Very much. Better keep the original though. Master Ros may need a copy." :) Varina loved it, too, Tarma. :) Dathon grins. :) Tarma says "Master Ros?" Broccal liked the sense of humour, Tarma! Jorai missed it :/ Tarma dropped Firelizard Tapestry. Tarma says "Look,Jorai:)" Jorai says "Can I butt in for a sec? I'm gonna have to head to bed soon. :}" Opa says "Butt away." Kylee smiles, "I'll explain it via +mail Tarma." Jorai ROTFL Tarma nods..."Okey Kylee.:)" Jorai giggles. "Oh, me, right :) Varina and I are switching our Office Hours to Tuesdays, since I forgot I had a class on Mondays for a while. So we'll have them on weeks we aren't having meetings. Next week I'll do an informal class on taking measurements for commissions. I'm gonna make Varina model ;) Opa oooOOOOooh. Varina strikes a pose. :) Jorai says "Everyone come and snicker at Varina looking like a voodoo doll with pins coming out of her every which way ;)" Varina squirms a pose? Tarma mtters abot smashing her keyboard as she discovers her letter ' ' isn't working! Jorai is being told again that her typing is keeping the baby from going ot bed :P So with that, I'll make my great escape! ;) Broccal snugs Jo. *sigh* "Until next time, muhdear" Opa waves. Hope she sleeps well. :) Tarma says "Night Jorai.:)" Jorai cackles madly as she runs from the room *snugs Broc on the way* Night! :) Jorai goes home. Opa says "Alrightee, well, so what I'm hearing is that folks wouldn't mind if +views got taken off of places like the teaching wing, or the office hallway, or the residences, etc.?" Weavers> Kymer waves. :) Varina votes "Don't mind" Weavers> Opa says, "Hi!" Weavers> Tarma waves back.:) Weavers> Dathon grins at Kymer. Weavers> Broccal says, "hi, Kymer" Opa will post this suggestion on the +bboard to gather opinions, as well. Kymer walks in from the kitchen and storage area. Opa says "Moving right along, because I desperately want to sleep soon, RP theme of the fortnight, where the heck did it go?" Opa has to admit that this is entirely my fault. I am a total goof. The week I was supposed to post the last RP theme of the fortnight was a week of hell and it went right out of my head. I apologize profusely. Please feel free to throw pies in my face. I will be posting an RP theme of the fortnight tomorrow, I swear. Tarma throws banana cream pie!:) Opa watches the GH turn into a 3 Stooges routine... Opa says "Oh, and just two more things which I thought of at the last minute so didn't have time to put on the agenda..." Dathon accepts a bubbly (cold) from Johann and takes aim... Dathon ...but shoves it in his mouth at the last moment. :) Opa says "As I'm sure you've noticed if you read the general +bboard, we've advertised for a PC headwoman. Hopefully our advertisement will bear fruit. Stay tuned. :)" Opa ducks? :) Broccal says "What are we looking for in a headwoman?" Opa says "And finally, Nalaya asked if I could make old, old meeting logs available on the website since I no longer have an ftp site you guys can get them from. The answer is yes but I'm having problems doing this the way I want to do it, so stay tuned." Dathon puns... someone who uses her head. Feel free to fling pies. :) Opa says "We are looking for someone with solid, proactive RP experience and a character over 30 Turns in age." Opa says "It's essentially a RP role as opposed to an admin kind of role." Opa says "Anyway, that's it for me...anyone have any questions about my spam, or anything they'd like to bring up? Page me to get on the queue." Tarma says "I was wondering, why wasn't the tent at the Biitra Gather? I looked for it..." Opa looks embarrassed. I'd guess because no one brought it over. :} Actually, I think it's locked to just Varina and me and the Weaver builder chars. I'll need to change that. Tarma says "I tried, bt I coldn't take it." Varina says "I had this sketchy memory that anyone jrank and up could pick it up. I guess I remember wrong?" Opa has actually now started putting gathers in my electronic organizer so I'll get reminded to bring the tent over. Yeah Tarma, that was the problem, because it was locked against you. I don't know, Varina, I haven't looked at the lock in eons. Broccal doesn't like Gathers personally.... Weavers> Fiona says, "I have been able to move it in the past." Tarma says "There were several people there looking for it, they were talking abot it. And the Bitra folks asked where the Weavers were." Opa looks more embarrassed. Tarma says "Sorry. Thoght I shold mention it, thogh. I'd be happy to take the tent sometimes, if I cold." Opa nods, I will definitely take another look at how the lock is coded. Tarma mtters again abot a key that isn't working...(grnble) Opa says "Anyone else?" Opa raises the squeaky gavel. Going... Opa twirls the gavel in the air threateningly. Going.... Opa smashes the gavel down. Gone! Meeting adjourned. :) <
