The wherhide jacket on T'quinn's back could only have been custom-made, since it fits his large, muscular torso to perfection. The smooth, thick leather has been stained a medium shade of brown which harmonizes well with the glow of his unusual amber eyes. When buckled closed from throat to hips, and belted securely at his waist, only small tufts of the inner lining peek out at the heck, sleeves and hem. However, when unbuckled casually during T'quinn's off-duty moments, the lining is clearly visible - not fur, but, unusually, chicken feathers, thick and abundant, keeping the chill of Between out of his bones as much as anything can. Dyed jet black, they must have been painstakingly sewn on by hand, feather by feather, making you wonder just exactly how many marks the bronzerider handed out for this valuable jacket.
