Kendael is wearing a very fashionable padded vest over a cotton sky-blue shirt. The vest is made of ornate patchwork, all blues, greens, reds, and purples; and laced together with dark blue cotton thread. It comes down to her hips. The shirt underneath, tucked into a pair of coarse cotton pants, has a simple straight neckline with billowing sleeves. The cuffs are very wide, from her wrists up to just below her elbows. Her tapered trousers are the colour of strong klah.
