Ieyela is wearing one of the padded patchwork vests so popular in the Benden region. It is long, falling loosely to her hips without buttons or laces to fasten it. The patches are a rainbow variety of solids and patterns, creating a dazzling effect of multiple hues. A white, collared shirt is worn untucked underneath. The sleeves are gathered with ties at her wrists, and the hem peeks out a few inches below the vest. Close-fitting black trousers adorn her wiry legs.
