Gildor is wearing a thick, bulky sweater to keep him warm in the chill of winter. The soft, insulating wool has been dyed the deep purple of a dense amethyst. The sweater has been skillfully worked into a raised knit pattern associated with the Tillek region. Thick rib-knitting edges the high neck, long sleeves, and hem encircling his hips. Upon his legs are thick wherhide trousers, stained a smoky black. They are tucked in at mid-calf into buckled boots of sturdy tawny brown leather.
