Ehlona, it is known is
the eldest daughter of Mhrll and is often called the protector of man as it was often her
task to lay the concerns of man at he feet of her father when he became overzealous with
one task or another. Ehlona had a warriors beauty, strong of muscle and sinew, with a distinctly un-elven sharpness of feature and honey-dark skin. Tall and full of otherworldly grace and purity of movement and vision, the queen of the hunt and the maiden of battle. Never touched by another man she was pure and strong as a newly forged spear. It so happens that the titan Yiromese fell deeply in love with the goddess and tried to win her hand. He courted her with songs and poetry, flowers and sweets unlike any other, but she remained unimpressed and unmoved. He courted her for ten years to no avail and was at his wits end. He disappeared from the forges of legend and went to the realms of man. Heart broken he went to a small island off of the coast of Starport to live a life of solitude and to try to forget. he tried this for a few days before deciding that it just wasn't going to work that way. He was a titan after all, and titans are not known for being pacifists. He started thinking, and he started getting mad. It wasn't long before his anger rose to titanic proportions and he started smashing everything in sight, and when the land lay flat, he started smashing down into the very bowels of the earth itself. He crashed through the living earth until he reached the lava its self flowing through the underbelly of the living ground, its heat rose around him and he heard the hammering. Thrumming deep, as if all around him. He listened intently to where the rhythmic pounding was coming from, inhaled sharply and dove into the lava swimming swiftly and emerging in another chamber that he never would have guessed was there. He found a group of Cyclops, the smiths of Mhrll himself creating a new island in their massive underground lair, readying it for its rise to the surface. The Cyclops stopped their forging upon the arrival of the giant titan and bid him welcome asking why he was so far from the heavens. Yiromese told them his sad story and they empathized, they took him to Garre, the eldest Cyclops in the northern realms for advice. Garre listened and had no council to offer except that if he wanted he could stay with the Cyclops and they could share forging styles and runic knowledge. For the next 100 years he forged almost constantly his rage and sadness driving him, he learned much from the Cyclops and forging and runes he poured all of his emotion, all of his power, all of his heart, all that he had into the creation of a suit of plate armor inspired by the hide of a blue dragon. Bright azure and shining like a thousand sapphires shimmering and strong. Blue with silver highlights and bands of tiny silver runes written into it across the arms, chest, greaves, and belt. No blade can pierce it, no hammer smash it, no man destroy it, it can even deflect an magic that is thrown at it, and it can become any size for any wearer from a pixie to a titan. It is perfect in its construction, every plate and every link of mail, perfect. After its construction, Yiromese felt his anger and emotion leave him, and he decided to return to the heavens and to his home forges. Before he left, he gave the Armor to the dwarves who had helped him mine the ore from which the armor was fashioned, he bid the dwarves and Cyclops goodbye, and went home. Years after, the dwarven hero Rengreve Ironheart made his own legend by almost single handedly saving his mountain home from an army of ratlings bent on destroying the dwarves. He slaughtered thousands on his own as the dwarven army was out fighting in another battle and had left when he was helping Yiromese and the Cyclops gather ore from deep in the earth. Ehlona, daughter of Mhrll, heard of his exploits and went down to meet Rengreve. When she asked him of his armor he said it was named after her, Ehlona. She was pleased greatly by this and asked to meet its maker. When she heard it was one of her own titans she went to the heavens to find Yiromese. She called Yiromese to her, and made him stand before judgement. "Where were you the past 100 years.", she asked. "I was gone My Lady. I went to the world of Man." "Did you gain my permission first?" she asked. "No, My Lady. I did not." He hung his head in shame. "Did you consort with both the Cyclops and the mortal Dwarves?" she asked. "Yes, My Lady. I did." She opened a portal to view the earth, to view Rengreve, "Did you forge this Armor? Did you give true runic power to a mortal?" she asked. "Yes, My Lady. I did." "Did you name this Armor after me without my permission or blessing?" she asked. "Yes, My Lady. I did." he began to weep. "Why did you not tell me of your talent? Did you wish to embarrass me before the other gods?" she asked. "No, My Lady. I did not." "And do you still love me?" she asked. "Yes, My Lady. I do" he wept uncontrollably. "Then I give my blessing to you. You may name this armor after me, and though we can never be together you will always be by my side. You are to be my protector Yiromese, and the forger of all that I have." "Yes, My Lady." he smiled, "I will." The wearer of Ehlonas Armor of Radiance must be fighting for that which he loves and holds dear. It is light, powerful, and has power unmatched by any other runic armor. Though historically worn by Dwarves it will fit any mortal. Its current whereabouts are unknown but assumed to be the tomb of the Dwarven King Chrenrgon.
