To start off the middle school nostalgia, here's a picture of Julian, circa eight grade. We were on a field trip to see the Indianapolis 500 race track (definitely the most boring field trip ever) and decided to save Julian's flowing hair for posterity.

Sorry these scans are so terrible; the pictures are kind of beaten up. We were posing for Maggie's polaroid in her living room; I don't actually remember why. Aren't we cute?
Here we have the only known photo of rehersals for the smash Broadway hit, Those Wedding Bells Shall Not Ring Out, Or, The Bride Wore Green Chili Peppers (commonly called "Something Smells Funny and It's Not the Chili"). That's Julia with her back to the camera on the right, the guy who played the main character, Derek D. Dogood, on the left, and Leith (with the stiped shirt and red hair) is in between. Leith, by the way, has a nice webpage with drink recipes.
From the left, there's Heather, Beth Mitchell, Julia, and Maggie in the Batchelor Middle School hallway (near the choir room, I believe). We used to people watch in the mornings before school started, counting the laps that cliques did around the large square hallway.
The quintessential middle school picture, taken on the last day of seventh grade, of all the boys. That's Alan Stevenson in the blue shirt in the lefthand corner; above him in red is, I can't remember, Jeremy Something possibly? Standing is Andy Harden, who is giving bunny ears to Chris Deckard. Behind Chris is Joey Richardson, and in front of him is Kerrin Kramer (yes, it's really true). Last in the row is Julian Stetkevytch; behind him is, dang, I can't remember him either. The Vuarnet shirt belongs to Val Nolan, though how I know that mystifies me.
