Witness the Nerds at lunch in the lovely Bloomington High School South cafeteria. From the right, going around the table, there's Kerrin, Heather, me, (behind me is Tanya, who loves Kerrin "that much!") Maggie, Chris, and Julia. Megan, Marie, and Liz (I think) had the other lunch period (or, one of them may have taken this picture).
Heather and Megan and I got bored one day at my house and started taking pictures. Here is a black and white I took of Megan:
And one I took of Heather with Leroy Raoul Smythe, the Gourd Man. He was a gift to my mother from some woman who came into my parent's video store. We all though he was pretty creepy, but my friends took a liking to him and gave him a name and a place in Nerd Lore.
Maggie, Megan, Heather, and Marie and I all went to Boy Scout Camp during the summer for two years. Maggie and I built a doorway for our camp so that we could have a porch. The lines on the scan are because this was scanned from a photocopy.
And here we are enjoying our porch.
For a semester during our sophomore year, Heather had a German exchange student (read: chauffeur) for a semester named Fabian. This photo was taken by Heather's mother when Daniel, Heather, Fabian, and I went to get Fabian's going-away party cake from her at work.
This was taken at Fabian's going away party, which was held at Cascades Park. This shot of (from left) Kerrin, Megan, myself, and Julian posing is one of Maggie's favorite pictures of us (I think she was the photographer, in fact). We had a lot of fun in the water that day, mostly after I discovered a great waterslide by falling down it.
At a sleepover I had before Fabian left, someone (me? My dad, maybe?) got up early to take pictures (including a great one of a very groggy Maggie that didn't scan well). This one is of (on the left) a very sleepy Daniel and a very advertising-ready Julian.
Also before Fabian left, the Girl Scouts took him to King's Island (if you're not familiar with King's Island, think Cedar Point or Great America). From left, that's Fabian, Heather, Liz, Cristina, me, and Maggie posing in front of the roller coaster.
During the summer between our freshman and sophomore years, one of my many internet pen-pals, Blake, came to visit for a week. The next year, when Heather, her mother, Daniel, Maggie, and I took Fabian to see Chicago, we met up with him at the Museum of Science and Industry. Here's Maggie and Blake:

During an extended weekend from the Academy, the Nerds got together for a Fancy Dinner Party, Disney World meeting, and optional Swing Dance. Here we are impersonating Miss Witten's choir group (the Madrigals). From the left that's Liz, Megan (red hair!), Julia, Kerrin, Maggie, Julian, me (in my god-awful Junior prom dress), and Heather (in one of our choir dresses from Freshman year. They were "Grape Black" and the itched like fire and cost 75 dollars).
