page ?, panel 3: Enter Jimmy. Also, Tim's shirt reads "This ain't Kansas, Toto", a reference to L Frank Baum's "The Wizard of Oz", in which a Kansas teenager named Dorothy and her dog Toto are transported to the enchanted land of Oz.

page 2, panel 2: The object is a Narl's head.

page 3, panel 5: Enter the Narls, en masse. In particular, the two speaking are Tanger (with the glasses) and Crimple.

page 5, panel 1: Enter the Wobbly.
