In case you don't know, I am Freaktower, aka Freaky, Ren, Mary or Dot. I'm a Sagittarius. I guess I'm the computer genius (nerd?) of this operation. My obsession with Tycho Brahe began one day when Naked Eye filled me in on what I needed in life-insight into Tycho Brahe! Since then, I have had a tremendous burden lifted from my shoulder.

Goldenose (Cancer) is the founder of our fan club. Also known as Shorts and Jinger, she is currently an unemployed student who likes to tell stories (visuals included!). She is a mad scientist in her spare time. She lived in the same apartment as Naked Eye(see below). She has many clothes and a new appreciation for Duran Duran lyrics. She loves Tycho Brahe, writing emails, sleeping, smoking lounges, trying new foods and watching movies. Her other projects include the Pooh theory helping out her Mom. She also enjoys spending her time playing Yahoo Games.
Her goal in life: To make sure there is peace on earth and to save all the independent businesses in Northern VA.
Naked Eye (Capricorn) hails from Virginia and loves to compare stories about Professor VonBoskirk with me and Goldenose. She was an Accounting major. She enjoys playing on the computer, especially when it comes to her neopet. She gets many compliments on her hair. She has been helping Goldenose with the Pooh theory, spreading the word on Tycho Brahe and was the Pledge Mom for Phi Chi Theta. Now she's a full time employee! Also fond of fireside chats about Tycho Brahe, eating out, watching TV and classic rock. She started Tycho Club 2 on Talk City. Sorry guys, she is dating someone. She also adopted the cutest kitten named Tycho!

Why not build a website about him? Besides, this isn't the only site out there on him.
What does Freaktower mean?
Okay, here's the story: I was trying to come up with a nickname for myself and while talking with Naked Eye about it, she was telling me some things she had learned on Tycho. She mentioned that he lived part of his life in a tower. My remark was, "Okay, so he was some freak astronomer who lived in a tower." Then I simply put "freak" and "tower" together and it clicked.
So all of your names have Tycho references in them?
You bet. Goldenose comes from the fact that his nose was cut off in a duel and he had it replaced with, well, a nose made of gold. Some reports say it was originally silver but no one is really sure. Naked Eye's nickname is from the fact that Tycho Brahe made most of his discoveries using the naked eye instead of telescopes and the such.
What was the inspiration behind this page?
Oh sure, it's an innocent story. Well actually it is. Goldenose and Naked Eye came up with the idea of starting a club after him after the coolest professor in the world, VonBoskirk, talked about him in their Science 101 class. So I jokingly said, "if you do start a club, then I'll make the webpage!" A few days later they did so I had to learn HTML fast to keep up my part of the deal. So I guess you could say Professor VonBoskirk was our inspiration. We're still debating on whether or not to invite him into the club.
