Day 84 - Invention

(Day 24 of Month 3)

Dear Diary,

After reading for a while on the several problems encountered in parallel processing of vision, before breakfast, I suddenly got an idea: the fact that only the winged furres can walk on bare clouds which is a part of the supportive system of a Laputan (editor 262501: buildings which float on clouds) structure is not due to technological limitation! With the correct usage, all furres can walk on bare clouds!

I put my idea into reality immediately after breakfast. Rainbow helped me with the calculation parts and did the detailed settings on the Lapt-nanomachines.

My theory is that, the Laputan buildings are supported by a sheet of nanomachines which facilitate the formation of clouds and uses the upstream air, as well as propelling extra water droplets with sun energy, to give the supportive force to the building upon it.

And therefore, principally, a furre can be supported as a building is.

The problem to solve is simply to extend the sheet out to bare parts. Usually, there are about a step of sheet surrounding the whole Laputan infrastructure already, so I try to increase the tension inside the sheet to prevent auto-multiplication when a furres weight is on the edge of the sheet, to prevent a protruding edge formed around the furre.

After some careful calculation, we discovered that there were some parts of the edge which really cannot support an extra furre without expanding out, so I finished with a new Rainbow Ring in which even the unwinged furres can walk on bare clouds!!

Rainbow tested the new Ring for me, after lunch, and setting up the entrance at the waterfront of Allgeria Island. And to our surprise, an invisible wall was set up between the cloud and the normal floor!

We juggled with the paramenters for the whole afternoon and managed to pinpoint the proble finally. Several times we thought we have come to some solution, but the solution didnt work out properly.

For example, we thought that it would work by just changing the tension parameters at the edge, but the problem was finally solved by attaching a new sheet, with the new tension parameters to replace the part of edge which can support a furre on it.

After dinner, Rainbow went out to set up the entrance and saw Mushra V with his wife, whom looked very much the same in the aspect of colors, and found that he had found a family with children already.

It was a tired but interesting day of work.

Day 85 V The New Wind

(Day 25 of Month 3)

Dear Dairy,

Cryptonite, Ketsuikee, Lokiara, came in and finished the challenge during the morning, and the new Ring received surreal from one of them as the most outstanding comment.

In the afternoon, I tried to read some more on artificial neural network but wasted my time because I could not understand most of the vocabulary. So I practiced SL instead.

Meanwhile Rainbow needed a recharge because of being the interface of the Laputain floating system. He told me that he used his last bit of energy to go to Allgeria Island to have the recharging because he found that recharging would be boring and disappointing if he did that inside the R and C. He met Mushra, which was then able to change into a dragon form there, and had an accelerated charge-up with Mushra's fire. He told me that he met some of my friends like Fox Mccloud and Majorthe there too, to support his propriety of going to Allgeria Island to do the recharging.

Death B Comer and Punque came in finished the challenge at night. They thanked Rainbow for letting them to have an enjoyable night (something like that).

And I traversed n the Other World, after glancing through a database found in the Furcadian messenger system that was about the etiquettes found in parts of the Furcadia where the attitude towards lost technologies is violently unfriendly. I am pleased that Rainbow had taught me some freehand fighting so I can protect myself without using lost technologies.

And the traversing didn't give e pleasure at all. There were so many problems there, as in Furcadia. Too many stuffs were not planned, even with enough knowledge, and the necessity to plan that was obvious.
