Avg Campaign Length: Three 4 hour gaming sessions Hook: The characters are offered a substantial amount of money to come to a city on the Western Coast of the Americas (Old California) to defend against a band of Pirates known as the Skurvey Seamonkies. (20,000 credits per week of service, with a 75,000 credit bonus when the pirates are defeated.) Line: After remaining in the city for several weeks there are no encounters with the pirate band. The characters should be feeling a bit impatient by now as nearly a month has past without a single shred of action. Sinker: Actually the Mayor who posted the bounty is working with the Seamonkies and this may be found out as they meet with the mayor about once a week, in disguise of course. I leave it to you, the GM to figure out how the characters find out and reveal their ploting. The characters should be given suggestions by a GMs character or NPC that has accompanied them, to fool the Mayor into thinking that the characters have given up. And then when he believes that they are gone, if the characters suspicions are true (Which they are of course) the pirates will attack. It is at this time that the characters should attack the fair sized pirate force. Skurvey Seamonkies:
