Anti Personnel Weapons

Anti Personnel weapons are an absolute necessity for many different types of units, especially those meant to take out heavy targets. A man in body armor is an annoyance to most heavy PA units, that needs to be taken out of the equasion quickly, and cost effectively, I mean come on, what pilot in his right mind would want to waste 900 credits on the lowly infantryman by firing his RFFC at him when he could have fired a burst or two from an Anti Personnel weapon which would have sent the annoyance scurrying, and he could have continued on his merry way, while only costing himself or employers 100 or so credits from those two bursts?!

Ramjet Machine Cannon-1 (RMC-1): This small weapon is designed mainly to defend against lightly armored troops or for fire support at close range. It fires caseless ramjets, in consentrated bursts. It normally is mounted in the forearm of power armor units, but can occasionally be mounted elsewhere.
Ramjet Machine Cannon-2 (RMC-2): This is a later design, made smaller so that it may fit into the forearms of lighter powered armor units. Since it's development it has all but phased out the RMC-1.
S-Mart Rail Gun-7 (RG-7): This rail gun is installed into the units virtually anywhere in the body. It is designed so that it may be small enough to be mounted in a small space roughly 1'x1'. It's range is not very great, nor are it's damage capabilities but it is still a welcome addition to any unit.

Name Damage Payload* ROF Range Space Cost Weight MDC
RMC-1 4D6MD 60/6 10 1,200' 1 21,000 22Lbs 25
RMC-2 4D6MD 60/6 10 1,200' 1/2 30,000 15Lbs 20
RG-7 4D6MD 30/3 20 2,000' 1/2 45,000 35Lbs 25

*The Payload is devided by the first didget being the payload of a drum, and the second is the payload of a clip.
Ammunition Costs
Name Reload Space Cost Per Round Cost Per Container
RMC-1 & 2 1/4 per clip; 1/2 per drum 10 per round 2,000 per drum/20 per clip
RG-7 1/4 per clip; 1/2 per drum 2 per round 1,500 per drum/10 per clip

Note: Drum's are rather expensive in comparison to clips for one simple reason, and that is the high tech metal and ceramic alloys that they are molded from. Clips are not mega-damaged structures, and if hit with a blast will disable the weapon. (In the case of ramjets...woe to the poor bastard holding the weapon, because the solid propellant is likely to ignite if the clip is destroyed by an energy weapon or explosion, and inflict serious damage to the power armor unit.) Keep in mind that the prices for drums are for drums that are EMPTY ones, add the appropriate amount according to how many rounds you are putting in it. Drum MDCs are from 30-100 MDC, rarely are they any higher than this. (Anti Personel weapon drums would fall into the lesser of that category, around 30MDC for a drum.)
