Guardians of the West
Garion is getting adjusted to married life, and to life as a ruler. It's not always all that it's cracked up to be, but for the most part he's happy. Having had his share of adventure, he now wants nothing more than to settle down in his corner of the world and live his life. But the prophecy has other plans, and so Garion gets thrust back into the struggle between the Child of the Light and the Child of the Dark.
It seems that the battle with Torak was not the final conflict. There yet remains one last struggle before the fate of the universe can be decided. Though Torak is defeated, the dark prophecy has chosen his successor, and the new Child of the Dark had made the first move in the new battle. It is a move that will send Garion and his friends once again racing across the world, for the Child of the Dark has stolen Garion's son.
