Welcome to Daggett Outfitters. If you need it, we've got it. Just point. A basic description is offered for all items available. (These items are mainly from Book 3 Worlds and Adventures, but there are a few from Book 4 Mercenary.)

Personal Equipment

Respirator (TL 5) CR100. A compressor which allows breathing of atmosphere type 3.
Filter Mask (TL 3) CR 10. A filter set allowing breathing of atmosphere types 4, 7, or 9.
Combination (TL 5) CR150. A combination of both filter mask and respirator which allows breathing of atmosphere type 2.
Protective Suit (TL 5) CR700. Protects against type B atmosphere. Weighs 5 kg.
Vacc Suit (TL 7) CR10000. Worn in vaccuum or as protective suit. Includes oxygen tanks, radio communicators and other required equipment. Weighs 10 kg.
Cold Weather Clothing (TL 1) CR200. Protects against frigid weather.
Map Box (TL 9) CR 2500. Compact expandable storage system for computer generated maps of a world. Most inhabited worlds have an insert chip (CR150). Weighs 1 kg.

Personal Devices

Short Range Communicator (TL 5) CR100. Radio capable of 10 km range. Weighs .3 kg.
Medium Range Communicator (TL 5) CR200. Radio capable of 30 km range, and contact with official radio channels. Weighs .5 kg.
Long Range Communicator (TL 6) CR500. Radio capable of ranges up to 500 km and contact with ships in orbit. Weighs 1.5 kg.
Magnetic Compas (TL 3) CR10. Indicates direction of magetic north, if any.
Inertial Locator (TL 9) CR1200. Indicates direction and distanced travelled from starting location. Weighs 1.5 kg.
Metal Detector (TL 6) CR300. Indicates presence of metal. Weighs 1 kg.
Geiger Counter (TL 5) CR250. Indicates presence and intensity of radioactivity. Weighs 1 kg.
Bull-Horn (TL 5) CR120. Amplifies voice to very long range, bulky and awkward to carry. Weighs .5 kg.
Hand Calculator (TL 6) CR250. Provides basic mathematical calculations. Weighs 1 kg.
Hand Computer (TL 11) CR1500. Provides services of a programmable calculator, plus serves as a computer terminal when linked (by its integral radio, or by other circuit) to a computer. Weighs .5 kg.
Artificial Psionic Shield (TL 8) CR4000. Acts a shield against psionic forces. Weighs 1 kg.
Handcuffs (TL 2) CR25. Higher tech levels produce lighter designs, better security, and cost more. Weighs .3 kg.
Wrist Watch (TL 3) CR25 to CR1000. Price determines quality.
Portable Radio Jammer (TL 8) CR20000. Portable radio jammer, short range (10km); use is illegal in Imperium, ownership is not. Not effective against tight beam laser communication. Weighs .3 kg.

Vision Aids

Binoculars (TL 3) CR 75. Weighs 1 kg.
IR Goggles (TL 6) CR 500. Allows wearer to see heat sources (infrared radiation) in the dark. Quality of vision is necessarily distorted. Weighs 1 kg.
Light Intesifier Goggles (TL 9) CR 500. Allows vision in anything less than total dark. Weighs 1 kg.
Torches (TL 1) CR 1. Last 20 minutes. Weighs .25 kg.
Electric Torches (TL 3) CR 10. Last 6 hours continuous use. Weighs .5 kg.
Gas or Oil Lamp (TL 2) CR 10. Last about 6 hours. Weighs .5 kg.
Cold Light Lantern (TL 6) CR 20. Flashlight; lasts 3 days continuous use. Weighs .25 kg.

Tools

Carpentry Tools Set (TL 2) CR 300. Includes basic tools necessary to cut, shape, and build with wood. Weighs 25 kg.
Metalwork Tool Set (TL 4) CR 1500. Includes basic tools necessary for metalworking, welding, and shaping. Weighs 50 kg.
Chain Saw (TL 6) CR 500. Motorized mechanical device for felling, cutting, and shaping trees. Weighs 8 kg.
Mechanical Tool Set (TL 5) CR 1000. Includes basic tools necessary to repair and alter mechanical devices. Weighs 20 kg.
Electronic Tool Set (TL 7) CR 2000. Necessary tools for basic electronic assembly and repair. Weighs 5 kg.
Lock Pick Set (TL 6) CR 400. Allows picking of most ordinary locks on a throw of 8+; throw once per 15 seconds. Weighs .25 kg.
Disguise Kit (TL 7) CR 1000. Allows change of personal appearance on a temporary basis. Weighs 5 kg.

Shelters

Tarpaulin (TL 1) CR 10. A canvas or waterproof cloth sheet used to create a temporary shelter (2x4 m). Weighs 2 kg.
Tent (TL 2) CR 200. Basic shelter for two people. (Larger or more elaborate tents cost more.) Weighs 3 kg.
Pressure Tent (TL 7) CR 2000. Basic shelter for two people, providing standard atmosphere and conditions. Weighs 25 kg.
Pre-Fabricated Cabin (TL 6) CR 10000. Modular unpressurized quarters for 6 people (2x6x6m). Can be carried in a spaceship hold. Weighs 4 tons.
Advanced Base (TL 8) CR 50000. Modular pressurized quarters for 6 people (2x6x6m) with air lock and atmospheric recirculating system. Can be carried in a spaceship hold. Weighs 6 tons.

Vehicles

Ground Car (TL 5) CR40000. Up to 150km/hr. Sedan, unpressurized. Weighs 2 tons.
All Terrain Vehicle (TL 6) CR3MCr. ATV: pressurized, 5000km range, refuel fm ship's plant, up to 100MPH on roads, up to 8 passengers. Weighs 10 tons.
Armored Fighting Vehicle (TL 6) CR7Mcr. Similar to ATV except armored and equipped with turret (laser or auto-cannon) Crew of three. Weighs 10 tons.
Hovercraft (TL 7) CR2Mcr. Ground effect vehicle for worlds with atmos 4 or greater, hovers 1m up. Max speed 100KPH, max range 100km, 15 passengers, travels over land or water. Weighs 8 tons.
Fixed wing Jet (TL 5) CR1Mcr. Twin jet monoplane with crew of 2 and 6 passengers, cargo up to 5 tons, 15m long and 15m wingspan. Cruise at 600KPH with range of 3500km. Seaplane mod and weapons additional. Weighs 5 tons (empty), 10 tons (fully loaded).
Helicopter (TL 6) CR1Mcr. Single engine rotary wing aircraft capable of vertical flight. Can carry cargo or passengers up to 1 ton. Cruise at 250KPH with range of 600km. Larger versions cost more. Weighs 2 tons (standard), 20 tons (fully loaded) for largest model.
Air/Raft (TL 8) CR6MCr. Null gravity modules for lift and propulsion (4 each for safety). Cruise at 100KPH with unlimited range. Weighs 4 tons and carries 4 tons. Pressurized, gun mounts, search lights, crash cushions, and other options additional.
Grav Belt (TL 12) CR1MCr. Personal anti-gravity transportation using a single null gravity module and a personal harness. Similar speed and range to air/raft.
Motor Boat (TL 5) CR.6MCr. Advanced small craft utilizes hydrofoils to enable speed up to 100KPH. 25M inlength. Displaces 100 tons.
Submersible (TL 6) CR2MCr. Nuclear powered, capable of up to 40KPH, indefinte endurance, airlocks, up to 10 passengers. Suitable for underwater domed city-to-domed city travel, particularly useful when atmospheric travel is turbulent. Displaces 500 tons.
