General notes will be offered to our pilots. Thoughts about preferred altitudes at various locations, and the airports that can be reached at a glide. Thoughts on how much fuel to carry in each type of aircraft in case of diversions required by weather or lack of daylight. (And thoughts about adjusting aircraft reliability.)
Notes sent by our MCA pilots warning of specific challenges at each of the Maine airports will be offered. Some are short and, if modeled correctly, can involve diving over a tree line onto a short, narrow runway as in Islesboro. (Later, I hope to offer homemade scenery for some of these airports.)
