Comments: Met with manager of Carmike Cinemas about setting up display forStar Trek movie. She is not certain if they will get it, but if they dowould love to have us. Working with 2 hospitals and the FL prison system on "Baby Hold Me Tight" program. We collect scraps of cloth with gets sent to the prison where prisoners make rag dolls. Dolls are returned to local hospitals and police and fire departments. Members attended Styx River Water World and Independece Day together.
Problems: Ex-CO has refused to turn over items belonging to chapter. Most items are sentimental, but a couple have monetary value.

Comments: Crew attended opening day of Independence Day and celebrated the 4th at a members house complete with fireworks! Also trekked to local amusement center to play laser tag, go carts and swimming. Some members volunteered at Museum of Science and History for annual Space Day event. On the 25th members volunteered to help out at City Rescue Mission by helping serve meals to the homeless. National Space week began on the 27th and we had a recruiting table set up at the local mall.

Comments: Attended Star Trek episode viewing party and monthly clean-up of the St. Mark's Trail resulting in 8 hours man-hours for Tallahassee Parks & Recreation. Ten crew members gave a presentation on IDIC and culural diversity to an audience at the Thomasville Public Library in Thomasville, GA. Outpost Relentless still very active. Waiting on word from Sharon Stewart on Shuttledom.

I am recommending that the chapter be given one more chance. Back MSR's have been sent and a good faith effort is being made. As there is no one who can take the CO's place, I recommend that Capt. Elliott remain as CO. Three more FTR's will then result in decommissioning.

Comments: Crew working VERY hard on getting to the IC. However financial problems have caused several to withdraw this plans on attending with may cause others to cancel due to group rates. Working on a Trek Happenings to be held at the South Regional Library in August. Plan on attending Vulkon in St. Pete in Sept. Challange of the Heart still being supported by the Triumph. Dept heads were issued packets from the medical sector which includes info on HIV as well as contact numbers, pamplets and also red ribbons to be issued. Picnic held on Sunday July 14th mainly for cadets but all were invited to attend. Picnic included food, fun and adventures included water gun and water balloon fights.

Comments: Chapter has est. set of By-Laws to be voted upon. Examined promotion policies, determined departmental and department head responsibilities and planned a general course of events over the next three months. A reporter from the Huntsville Times interviewed Capt. Trulson as to how the upcoming 30th Anniversary celebrations will effect local fan clubs in the July 21st issue. Problems: There is a growing dissatisfaction with the national level. Problems such as slow membership renewals (2+ months) and old (3+ months) CQ's filled with out of date material. Yet the CSR acts as if everything is perfect. XO has lost his OTS and OCC Certificates, can he get replacement copies?

Comments: Planning a lockin with favorite episodes of Star Trek from all four series being watched with a viewing of the Perseid showers later in the evening. Car wash being planned for 8/17 and business meeting 8/31. Don't know if anyone is attending the super convention in Huntsville at this time, but that could change. Some have expressed interest, but don't know if they can afford finacial burden with school starting up.
