Tasha is in this episode and there are two boys (Clyde and Kenneth I think but it was hard to understand what Barney was calling them), there's also a girl that looks like Kathy or Julie (I'm confused about names, again!) but younger that she was in the episode that I saw her in before.
Tasha wants to be a railroad engineer, she blows her whistly thing which sounds like a train whistle and Barney, BJ and Baby Bop appear wanting to know where the train they heard is. Trains don't come past the school, but they do it the kids use their imagination (Barney telling them what to imagine). They all hear a train and go out to look, the train has gone but the climbing frame has train station written on it and the train left some toys.
BJ wants to take some of the toys inside to play, Baby Bop wants to help but BJ doesn't want her to. BJ tries to carry lots of toys and drops them, then admits that he does need help. A lesson in accepting help that actually seems reasonably well done, wow! :o)
The children and Barney hear a sound from the tree house and go to investigate, it's a boy playing a trumpet (I think he's called Clyde but I couldn't understand Barney properly when he said the kid's name). He stops playing and hugs Barney. They find some instruments on the table and play "Oh when our band begins to play", another tune ripped off, this time it's "Oh when the saints..." turn. The children all play very well considering they only just got the instruments, just a little unreal I think, from looking at them it was clear to me that they weren't really playing (not sure a young child could tell though), but when they were talking they were talking like they were really playing in a band.
They hear BJ and Baby Bop arguing. Barney goes to see what's wrong. The kids were going to play another song (London Bridge, yay! :o)) but when Barney goes they don't. BJ and Baby Bop are arguing because they have made a train to play with and both want to be engineer, is this some conflict I see, wow *shock*. Barney asks if one of them would like another train job, no they don't. Barney suggest one of them gets to be the conductor, then they both want to be the conductor, these two are more like real kids than the 'real' kids on the show! They eventually agree that one gets to be conductor and one engineer and they'll swap after a while. They play with the train and sing, then swap after a while and carry one playing.
Kids go and see if they can see the train but they missed it again, but it has left them some fruit and vegetables, "yummy". Barney actually explains that it's good to eat fruit 'cos it's good for your heart, not exactly the best and full explaination but enough to give some kids idea that eating fruit is good for you, and a lot better than the kids just drooling over hellthy stuff with no explaination of why it's good to eat them.
Barney also mentions that excersise is good too, Baby Bop's favorite excersise it hopping so they all play hopping and sing.
Kenneth wants to know why all the train cars are different so Barney explains to him, still don't see why they are all in one train though, unless America has some very strange trains comapred to the ones over here :o).
The children decide to stay at the station and watch for the train, they sing a song about stations and trains while they wait. The imaginary train arrives with Stella's door on it and Stella appears to tell them a story. It was about trains and really didn't seem to have much of a point so I won't bother going on about it.
The children and the three plushies sing a song about working on the rail road, they wear hats and wave their arms around, but I couldn't understand the words of the song, though I suspect that was just something to do with the storm and very loud wind going on outside.
Tasha says they all luv Barney with a great big hug, then they sing the evil chant.
Some of this episode was surprisingly unbad. There was still all quite a lot of the usual problems but there was an explaination of why it's good to eat healthy, some conflict between BJ and Baby Bop that was sorted out sensibly and not just by singing a song with Barney, and BJ got a lesson in letting people help which seemed reasonably good, and all this in one episode *shock*.
