Shadows
[Shadows]
recounts the tale of the quest of Kallin So, other members of the Politi
household, and various allies. An apprentice in the Politi
household, Linnell Seris, was Embraced by Blayne, Grand Inquisitor of the
Church of the Redeemer and an old and powerful vampire. Left unable
to work Politi thread-magic, Linnell slowly withers, and unless her vampirism
can be "cured," she will die.
