FAQs

Is the field limited to a certain number of competitors?  Yes, 250.

What is the bad weather plan?   In the event of inclement weather, the race directors reserve the right to change the format of the race to provide maximum safety for the participants.  For instance, in the case of thunderstorms, the swim portion of the race may be cancelled.  We will change the format of the race to a duathlon consisting of a 5K run, a 40K bike and a 5K run.

What is the minimum age to compete?  16 years old.  Competitors younger than 18 years will need parental approval.

Is there Saturday or race day sign up?  There are Saturday sign ups, but NO race day sign-ups.  Registrations received after July 1 are subject to a $10 individual and $20 team entry late fee.

Are there the cash awards?  Yes, cash awards will be given to the top three finishers overall for both male and female.  Amount to be determined by Race Committee.

What are the age groups?  Age groups awards will be set at five year intervals (e.g., 19 and under, 20-24, etc.) in accordance with the USAT guidelines.

Is there a professional division?  No.

How will timing and results be handled? Timing will be done by The Runner's High of Grove City, PA using ChampionChip.

Will results be posted? Results will be posted on The Runner's High website at www.runhigh.com.

What is the refund policy?  No refunds will be given for any circumstances. 

Is there entry confirmation?  All entries will be confirmed by email.
