Mauch Chunk Lake Park has served as the central staging point for Anthracite Triathlon over the past seven years.  In addition to serving as the swimming venue and transition area for the race, the Carbon County-run park has many activities for the active outdoor enthusiast including boating, fishing, water sports, camping, picnicking, hiking, biking, etc.  With its proximity to the Switchback Trail and historic Jim Thorpe, the park is the ideal getaway for both tourists and area residents.
