Satire

Satire is a literary tone used to make fun of a human vice or weakness often with the intent of correcting, or changing, the subject of the satiric attack. In "The impotence of proofreading" by Taylor Mali he writes about how he used to write papers for his teachers and he would get low grades because he was a bad speller. Taylor Mali is being satirized because they put the actual way that he would spell words and they showed people that's reading it the things that couldn't help him such as spell check.
