His earliest recollection of his best friend, Cirra was waking up
in her hut after
being poisoned by some type of neural re-organizer. His lifelong
quest
is to recover his memory of his past. Even if he cannot ever
truly
recover his memories he is willing to settle for learning about
his
past through other people... that is if there was other people to talk
about.
Probably one of the most perplexing dilemmas that he has
encountered is that his prayers always speak of Araxis and His power
rather than the shadow
goddess Araxis. There are over a dozen other inconsistencies with
his
prayers to the god, such as how is it possible for him to use his full
shadow
meld in the dead of day, how his eyes can stand the full force of the
sun
without blinding effects.
Torem considers himself very soft spoken and
intelligent. He adventures to further explore the limits of his
powers as a priest of Araxis. He usually wears a suit of studded
leather armor underneath his ceremonial robes for protection. He
has two rings on either hand that have a mystical quality to them,
making him slightly harder to score hits upon. Some have said
that the rings allow his limbs to become air
like.
His greatest achievement was the discovery of the
first rune on his scythe, it now glows with a dull blue light.
The rune, roughly
translated, speaks of bringing unrest to the lulled. There are a
total
of 5 marks on the scythe and after an exhaustive study of the library
in
Shimmergate only one rune was activated. With this knowledge
enclosed
in his scythe, he trekked out from Callor to Kathu to further his
research.
While there he ran in with a few friendly faces that he recruted
to
aide him in amassing books and research materials.
